Why it clicked when Becca had said her name and not Dani was beyond him. Raelynn. The memories of Vegas, the night in his dorm, the night on the lawn all came rushing back. Picking his cellphone up looking over the picture of Vegas again, yep that was her not Becca. When Becca mentioned them being together it just fueled the fire that had started burning rapidly through him. That situation was a mess that he didn't even want to try and comprehend right now. Should he tell her? Would she even care? Frustration overtaking he chucked his phone across the room it bouncing against the wall. The screen finally gave out as the gadget broke into a few pieces. No Rebecca. We Aren't together. He wanted to tell her that Rae was just some hook up, maybe that would rid him of the guilt over the situation that he wasn't really sure why he had, but Rae and Him hadn't even managed that. But if You really feel the need to tell her, go ahead. She's just some girl I make out with from time to time. Dani's words echoed in his head he knew she was right. There was something between Rae and Him that he couldn't really understand, something that made him constantly want to be in her presence and the center of her attention but, he'd be damned if he'd admit it. Unfortunately being that guy made him even angrier.He didn't want to be the brooding guy, the guy who feared being alone but in self sabotage pushed everyone away. If he was that guy he'd have to admit he was that wonderful special brand of screwed up, the one that didn't come from a traumatic childhood and with no root cause there was no solution.

He had half the mind to tell her to get out to have Mr. Wonderful Liam come pick her up. Then he could deal with his emotions in the only two ways he knew how. He'd either go find a place that sold alcohol, buy a bottle of whiskey and drink himself stupid in the hotel room alone or, he'd go find that waitress. He'd spend the day hanging out with her, tell her how pretty she was play on every insecurity he could find until he could talk to her into going back to his room and in the morning he'd leave her confused and lonely maybe not even knowing his name.

He took out his wallet estimating the cost of a taxi back to Calloway and tossed it on the table next to her the way he might shove money at one of his one night stands the morning after Honestly, Becca I don't care. You can leave You can stay it doesn't matter to me anymore. but whatever you choose you can keep the damn hoodie and we get back to Calloway, just pretend I don't exist okay? He regretted the words the minute they left his lips but all he could see was red. He knew he'd regret everything he said when he calmed down when the sting of reality had worn off, but right now he was overwhelmed, hurt and angry. If he was anyone else but Gemini Cooper and If Becca wasn't standing there he just maybe might have broken down and cried. Maybe.

The urge to hug Gemini was quickly replaced with the need to strangle him, or at least slap her ex boyfriend. "You are one to talk. You know why all of this was so believable Gemini? Because when we were sixteen, I actually loved you. You screwed that up, not me. I would have stayed with you for the rest of our lives, flaws and all. You got bored, you cheated, you left me. " grabbing her purse and the few bags she had accumulated over the past few days, Becca stood to leave, but the sight of the money on the table and Gemini standing against the wall trying to pass everything off like this was still some sort of game pissed her off enough that she stayed.

"You act like I never would've taken you back, but all you ever had to do was tell me to stay. Instead you treated me just above one of your booty calls whenever I was single and waited until I did the impossible to realize that you might have screwed up. That's a load of crap and you know it Becca. You didn't love me. If you had maybe you would have managed to forgive me at some point. This new guy runs off and sleeps with Your sister Because he can't tell you two apart and he was drunk and It's oh in his defense blah blah.Hm. Drunk, Sleeping with someone else. Oh what, that sounds familiar? But at least it wasn't your sister! You're all in love with him and I've had to spend the last two years beating myself up trying to make my mistake up to you!

He little anger fire was starting to die down only to be replaced with the the kind of heartbreak that literally makes you feel like your heart hurts. He dropped down on the edge of the bed again wanting to drink himself into a coma. I Loved you, Did we work well? Not really but I didn't want our relationship to end the way it did. He had to turn away when Becca started to cry all he wanted to do what get up and hug her and make it all go away even if he had been the cause.

It was only a few seconds after the door clicked That Gem was going down the stairs into the lobby after her. That's not even fair Becca. He might have just let her go but the fear that if Liam actually managed to come get her this time or she did take a cab he might never speak to her again. Second of all, You're blaming me for basically not helping push your boundaries with your..special interests He looked around the office and didn't see anyone, but the clerk could have been in the back. It's not like you ever tried to share any of that with me and it's not like you ever took an interest in mine. Just because mine are more subtle doesn't mean they aren't important. He regretted ever picking up the phone, he should have just let it go to voicemail and gave them a few more hours of ignorant bliss. Thirdly, I don't need to go back to Raelynn. His attention was pulled away when the clerk said something along the lines that She was glad he happened to be there and the mechanic had called because he couldn't reach Gem on his cellphone. Gem took the phone his side of the conversation sounds something like "mhm, Yeah, Awesome, Yeah I understand, Cool, Thank You very much. He handed the phone back to the woman at the desk They've managed to revive my car. So you can either stay here and call your white knight and hope he shows up this time, or I can give you a ride home. He turned to go back up to the hotel room to gather up his belongings.
