Nestled high in the mountains near Yellowstone Lake resides a large resort style school for at risk youth. Ashford Academy was founded by Principal Michael Ashford in 2001 and has been named one of the top schools for student reformation. Here, students can learn in unique environments, canoe on the lake, and experience all the amenities of a resort year round. The staff is highly trained to handle their interesting charges in everything from possession, mind reading, and how to defrost the school bully in 60 minutes or less.

Were you assuming that this is a normal boarding school? Guess again.

Every member of the staff and all enrolled students are super powered beings, safely hidden in the resort by the principal and a mystery benefactor for their own protection. Between Principal Ashford’s memory manipulation powers and the Vice Principal’s power sensing, youths are rarely on their own for more than a few weeks before being brought to Ashford.

Even the small town a few miles away is SPB friendly, with many Ashford graduates choosing to work or even open businesses close to the school. Power slip ups or major incidents are easier to clean up here, allowing the students to be themselves without stressing about pesky witnesses.
