Less for fun, more for exercise, the indoor pool at the CASSIDY-HART FIELD HOUSE is designed as an Olympic sized lap pool. There is a large diving well to one side that opens for free swim three hours during the afternoon, but generally this pool is closed off unless you plan on calmly swimming laps.

The cardio zone, affectionately nicknamed by the freshman class of 2007, is where you will find gym essentials like treadmills, stair-climbers, and elliptical machines.

A large weight room sits in the middle of the ground floor. There is a half wall separating the weight room from the rest of the facility. Along the far wall, a full length mirror stands allowing the more conceited gym goers to stare at themselves as they work out.

The football field, though seldom used in anything more than intramural sports, is heated to keep the snow from interfering with winter time activities.

The outdoor track is heated to keep the heavy snowfall from damaging it. It is exactly one-fourth of a mile long and circle the practice football field to the right of the field house.

The indoor track is one-fourth of a mile in length and sites on a balcony overlooking the weight room from the second floor. You can take the elevator up, but people may think you are a little crazy...

The basketball courts are all in one huge room and provide the facilities for many training courses students can take while attending Ashford Academy. Sometimes they even hold a yoga class in here!
