Instead of using Gem's offered hand to stand up like she should've, Dani laughed and pulled him down in to the snow with her. Now, I'm great. She teased, grabbing a handful of loose snow and throwing it at him while she had a chance. And of course I challenged my boyfriend to an impossible snowball fight. What else are we going to do until it stops snowing. sitting up out of the snow, she kissed him quickly on the cheek before jumping to her feet and running in the direction of the treeline. Maybe if he couldn't see her as well she would stand half a chance.

Though he should have known that Dani would pull something like that, her pulling on his hand and pulling him down caught him off guard. AH! he yelled as he fell to the ground. He caught himself on his hands and knees; his hands sunk into the cold snow. DUDE!He said his eyes wide, though there was a smile on his face. It was only a few seconds before the snow Dani threw hit him in face. He used the sleeve of his jacket to wipe his face. He sighed when she took off toward the trees. Getting to his feet he gathered up some more snow in his hands which were already numb. you're going down, loser. He yelled after her chucking the snowball in his hands at her.

Snow barely grazed her side this time as she hid behind a tree. OH come on, you have to do better than that. She laughed breathlessly, the cold air making her face numb and her breath fogging up the air. There was no way they would be able to keep this up for long, especially with the snow still falling gently around them, but it was fun while it lasted. Once she was pretty sure he was close enough, she threw another snowball at him from a distance. As long as she hit him once, She'd be satisfied.

When the snowball barely touched her he scowled for a moment, though it was quickly replaced by his usual silly grin as she taunted him from behind the tree. He bit his lip while he thought of his plan of attack. A mischievous smile spread across his face. He didn't bother to move out of the way of the on coming snowball that hit him square in the chest. He gasped playfully You...got me. He said breathlessly and dropped to his knees dramatically like he had just been shot and then fell backwards into the snow.

Dani laughed, running over to where Gem had fallen down and jumping in to the snow beside him. It really had been a blizzard. Did I kill you? Should I call a doctor or do you just need a nurse? She teased, pretending to check him over where the snowball had hit. Her eyes were bright and excited even though she couldn't feel her face anymore from the frigid air and her hands were starting to feel the same despite her gloves. Getting out of the room had been the right choice afterall.

Dani shrieked in shock as the cold snow fell down her jacket and shirt, scrambling away from her boyfriend to safer ground. There was only one thing Gem hadn't thought of when he pulled a stunt like that. Her power worked off of intent, and this was going to be fun.
Just manipulating snow was too hard. that was really dani's problem with all elements. Were they weapons? Of course, but how do you only manipulate two fires? Or two tiny snow flakes? There had to be some sort of containment, like a water bottle, a candle...
Or a snowball.
Eyeing a small patch of snow, she concentrated on the lump it had formed and pulled. The snowball flew towards her hand and landed in her palm, just fast enough to prevent the loosely packed powder from falling apart. With a small grin, she threw the snowball at Gem, a challenging look in her eyes.

He sat up on his knees the cold snow melting against the warmth of his skin dampening his jeans further. He was doubled over laughing as shrieked. He caught a glimpse of the snowball in her hand and his eyes widened even if the grin didn't leave his lips Uh-oh... he said out loud as he caught look. He saw the snowball coming at him but his current position and the heavy blanket of snow was throwing off his normal agile self. He tried to dive out of the way of the snowball but it still managed to hit his shoulder with a thud as it broke throwing snow against his neck and earAh! He yelped. Why?! Why would you do that?! He yelled teasingly at her.

Because I'm secretly an evil mastermind. She teased, though another round was cut short as one of the resort employees came by to tell them that it was in advisable to stay outside. The last bug deal of snow was about to come through And the guests were to remain indoors until given the all clear. Atleast then the place should resume the normal activities that she had promised Gem. This was awesome. Looks like the party is over unless we want to freeze to death. she grinned, holding put her hand to help Gem up.

I'd believe it. He said smirking at her. He rolled his eyes when the hotel employees came to break up their party. Wimps, you're all wimps. He grabbed Dani's hand though for just the sake of holding it and not because he actually needed the help up as he climbed to his feet. He brushed the snow off of his jeans with his free hand. Let's get you back inside. Can't let my southern girl freeze. He released her hand only to wrap his arm around her waist as he headed back toward their room.
