He handed Dani her hot chocolate shaking his head at her once more before taking a sip of the coffee in his hand. He sighed happily Ohhhh my goddd... He held up the cup in front of him If you were a woman I would marry you. Yeah, he might have been crazy and talking to a cup. How's your super lame hot chocolate? He asked as they pulled back on the main road.

The coffee thing was getting a little disturbing, but somehow it was still at least a little cute. A pang of guilt hit her as she realized how much she had kept him from by asking him to stay in Calloway for so long. He should have been going home on breaks this whole time. Maybe it would be best for him to go alone so that he'd start realizing that Seattle was where he needed to be. Apparently he missed it more than he was letting on. It's alright. Obviously not as good as whatever you are drinking, but you know me. Gotta have my coffee fix. She teased, shrugging off the heavy feeling almost as quickly as it came. This wasn't the time for being depressed like they had been.

This whole thing was turning out to be the best idea ever. The atmosphere was amazing and almost made her like Wyoming for a minute, Gem was happier than she had seen him in weeks, and they seemed to be doing better at least for the minute. Hopefully things would only keep looking up. I would give you a hint, but you'd never be able to guess this one in a million years. Gemini didn't feel like attempting to drive to Seattle. It wasn't that the drive was long, but the flight was an hour and a half and he didn't have to be responsible if there was a storm. It seemed they were nearing their destination and the closer they got the more excited he was getting.

Dani stared at him for a minute, long enough for the voice on her phone to say that their destination was approching on the right. Okay, before you get too wound up, I thought it would be a good idea to get dinner first...you know, just in case we get snowed in or preoccupied. Or both. Both was good. A small diner that was supposedly the "hidden gem" of Atlas came in to view while she was talking. Hopefully it was as good as they said. And of course I'll take care of baby. The inside of the diner was definitely worth it. The decor was nice enough to warrant higher prices, but homey enough that she was probably way overdressed. Oh well, she would've worn the same if they were going to a dive. Tonight was about Gem more than anything. Noticing that the sign said to seat yourself, she walked over to the nearest table for two and sat down, casually shrugging off her jacket to reveal the dress underneath. Ryan doesn't really talk to his dad, Missie's still in L.A. and won't change her ways So Ryan currently wants nothing to do with her, and I don't know if you know this but his mom is dead. Gem explained though he hadn't looked up at her. Sliding into the chair he finally looked up to make eye contact with Dani. He stared at her for a long moment taking in the low cut dress Wow. The waitress came by for their drink orders, and since the place apparently didn't serve alcohol she settled on water. So, have you figured out where we're going yet?

Gemini was going to continue on about Ryan but had become too distracted with staring at Dani, they could talk about it later. I don't think so, and even if it is who cares... He said waving his hand dismissively. He noticed her blush and a small lopsided grin tugged at the corner of his mouth. When he called her cute, Dani couldn't help but feel her blush deepen before she looked away for a second to find the menu. "It's a resort...thing. Grand Targhee. They've got a ton of things to do if we don't get snowed in. She explained. It wasn't like they weren't less than five minutes away anyways. And if we do, they have decent food and apparently the beds are really good. If push came to shove, she might just have to turn the bunk beds in to a fort, but that was a worry for later on. Or now, as she noticed the falling snow outside the window.

He picked up the menu glancing over the menu not that his food choices could ever be that exciting.
