Raelynn stretched dramatically when he got on to her for not wearing a seat belt, "Oh Gem," She said, yawning, "I trust you. You have cat like reflexes." She teased, picking a pen out of her purse and tossing it at him playfully. She sighed and grabbed her phone as it buzzed from texts and instant messages, "By the way, Bex wants us to hang out with her and Liam tomorrow..." She cringed, not wanted to upset him but she did promise she would ask, "Something about fun and relaxing. I don't know..." Pursing her lips she googled restaurants near them. There wasn't much between here and Vegas, which was about an hour away by the looks of Google maps, "Want too just eat in Vegas and then get on the road?" She asked as they passed a sign telling them that Vegas was 40 miles out. That's way less than an hour in Gemini speed. Raelynn smiled and cuddled into the leather jacket, smelling it even though that might be weird, before burying her face in it and giggling. |

He didn't sound very excited about an outing with Liam and Becca, and honestly speaking Raelynn wasn't sure she was excited about it much either. But he said he would go and she would make sure that Becca kept her promise about the Fireball. Still laying on the seat, Raelynn reached feebly for the seatbelt and gave him a pouty face, "But the seat belt is so farrrr." She made a face like she was trying really hard to reach it even though she clearly wasn't, "Besides. I'm gunna trust you anyway. You won't get anyone killed." She stretched, starting to feel cramped in the car, as she thought about where she might like to eat, "Don't laugh." She pointed at him, making as serious a face as she could muster, "There is this great place called BJ's." He found a parking spot and gave her a confused look as she snorted and giggled Wait, what are you talking about? Because I was totally talking about pizza and beer.. He gave a goofy grin before grabbing his phone and sliding out of the car. He walked around tot he other side of the car and opened up the passenger door for her. It seemed like forever ago that they had been here and he had almost married and stripper,convinced Ralph to strip with him to make money and had mistaken Dani for a girl to hit on in the bar which ended up in matching tattoos. Of course there was also the wonderful memory of the fight he had gotten into with Raelynn, he swore then that he never wanted to see that hallow look in her eyes again but just like everything else he had managed to mess that up again too. He offered her his hand to help her out of the car Lead the way princess.

Covering her eyes with one hand, Raelynn shook her head and laughed some more. It held felt like an eternity had passed since the last time she laughed like this. Maybe, in all honestly, she never had laughed like this before. There was something carefree and fuzzy about being in love. Even if he didn't love her back, the anticipation of his green eyes looking at her made almost every single bit of pain she'd felt throughout her entire life worth it. Like she had only felt the pain, so she could appreciate this moment that much more, "Thank you." He joked sliding in the seat across from her.He picked up the menu glancing over it. Right though? You had all the wins that night and you dropped the ball. A free meal and you didn't even have to sleep with me to get it. When the waitress came to take their drink orders he asked for a cup of coffee and a side of creamer, the creamer for pure entertainment purposes and not because he actually used it in his drink.

Gemini took a sip of his coffee not caring to add anything to it despite the little bowl of creamer. He dumped them out of the table starting to stack rows on top of rows as he made a pyramid. All of her behavior seemed to make more sense to him now the continuous running away, the cryptic questions. He still couldn't get on board with the whole 'love' thing. Falling in love with him had to be the most ridiculous thing he could imagine anyone doing. Girls did it, and he never understood why. He wasn't there to love, or to be loved. Fun that's all he was ever meant to be I don't think you really want to sleep with me.I mean, You Should want to but.. He popped a sugar packet out of the container and flicked it at the creamer pyramid. He reached out and plucked the creamer packet out of the air before it hit the pyramid he then looked around to make sure no one saw. The pyramid wobbled but didn't fall. He dropped the packet looking up at Raelynn across the table We've had a dozen opportunities, Vegas being one of the big ones. and now... He had tried to keep his physical contact with Raelynn in check though he had to admit it was hard to not reach out and touch her. I Don't know.

    Amused with the creamer show, Raelynn giggled, "You should get a show in Vegas." She teased, ignoring all of his remarks about their chances to sleep together. It mostly bothered her because he wasn’t completely wrong. They had had ample opportunity to do something about all the urges and never had the timing down right. Which completely sucked, or didn’t, depending on how you thought about things. She dropped her hands in her hap and balled them up into fists to keep from saying anything. She wondered how long she would have to wait, and if someone life her was even capable of waiting. Someone like her….was someone like her even capable of being in a relationship? She didn’t know. Raelynn had almost convinced herself that she needed to give on Gemini but when she looked up from her lap and back at his face she knew that could never, ever happen, “I don’t know either.” She finally said, shrugging and turning her attention to the window. The familiar streets of Vegas were right there. If she was smart, she would just let Gemini leave her here again. But she never did do well in school.  |

It'd be the best show in Vegas. Gemini mocked an announcer voice Come see this smokin' hot dude flip sugar packets. We'll give you the whole seat but you'll only need the edge. He glanced over the menu trying to decide on whether he should stick to his diet or cave and eat pizza. Pizza was always the answer. When I start my show, You can be my beautiful assistant. I don't know what you can do, just stand there and look pretty I guess. Bring me more sugar packets. It'll be legendary.

She couldn't even be mad because it was hella true. Sighing, she grinned when the waitress finally returned and asked to take their food order. Raelynn ordered chicken alfredo and looked at Gemini so he could order his food. The red headed waitress smiled and didn't look away from Raelynn as she ordered, her face turning the color of her hair when Rae handed her the menus. |
