His voice breaking through the somewhat dark room made her jump slightly. She looked at him wide-eyed for a moment and then snorted, shaking her head, "I did say I was always ready for you, Gem." She winked at him, walking around the bed to the side he was sleeping on and pulling out her suitcase from under a chair. She could smell the smoke all over him now, being within a foot of him as she dug around in her suitcase trying to find clean underwear, "How about you? Are you always ready?" She asked more as a joke than anything else. |

He watched her movements closely as she made her way over to his side of the bed. He rolled over cradling his head in the palm of his hand watching her dig in her suitcase. He'd be lying if he said he didn't wish the towel would slip. Haven't we already covered this? I'm always ready. He reached over playfully closing her suitcase You don't need anything in there. You look great just like that. He gave her a dorky smile. Watching her dig through her suitcase reminded him that he was still lacking a shirt and the rest of his belongings were packed in his car which was still at Missie's place.

The shower had been probably one of the best he had ever had as he washed all the yuck from the night before off. When he was done he shut off the water grabbing one of the towels and dried off wrapping it around his hips. He could could hear the sound of Raelynn singing through the bathroom wall and it made him smile. He opened the door as quietly as possible and leaned against the door frame. Seeing her dancing along with singing made everything that much more amazing. You're adorable. that's really adorable. He said with a smile running his fingers through his now wet hair though the curls just stuck back to his forehead again.Remind me next time when I decide to leave a party to bring my stuff with me..

She finished putting on her lip gloss and turned around, admiring his towel clad body, "Why would you need your stuff?" She asked innocently, "You look good just like that." She lifted herself on to the dressed so she was sitting on the wooden top of it and crossed her legs and made it obvious that she was checking him out. Honestly, she was just stalling going back to that place...AND he was freakishly hot. There was that too. |

Oh my...She bit her lip when he stood next to her and couldn't even remember what clever comeback she had come up with for his snarky comment about walking around in a towel. Maybe something like 'as long am I can go too'? Oh well, no way it was coming back to her. She was too distracted.
Raelynn wanted to reach out and hug him or something, but she didn't know how he would feel about that given her confession the night before so she just slumped back, pouting, "Do we have to go back?" Raelynn knew the minute they pulled into town people would be asking what happened and all kinds of questions about feelings and stuff. She didn't know if she was ready to face them. |

He made sure the towel was secure and leaned forward placing one hand on either side of her. If I had left on any other terms I'd tell you no Gemini hated Wyoming and was looking forward to getting out officially as soon as possible, though if he didn't actually start attending it might not be as soon as he'd hoped. I can't leave things the way they are with Dani, and You have Becca- The mention of Raelynn's twins name brought back the vague memories of the messages from Dani Your Sister. Web Cab. Load of Bullshit. There was an annoyance in his voice though it wasn't directed at Raelynn I'm into a lot of things but being watched by my girlfriend He made finger quotations around the word girlfriend with his fingers as there wasn't a better way to describe it while i make out with someone else, not one of them. He was a lot more pissed off about the whole thing but he didn't honestly believe that Raelynn had anything to do with it and didn't want to fight with her about it.

She cringed a little at the sound of Becca's name. She had honestly been able to forget all about that when she was so focused on recovered Gemini, that now she didn't know how she felt about it. She bit her lip and moved her hands so they ere on his arms. Her fingertip snaked up his arms without her even thinking about it and rested on the marks that other girl left on his throat. She bit her lip and looked down, not sure if she was trying to look away because she was jealous or if maybe she thought it was her fault he had gone off the deep end to begin with, "I'm sorry, Gemini." She whispered, "I never wanted to hurt you. I should never have insisted that you come over...I just..." Yep. That did it. The floodgate that was her tear-duct overflowed again and silent tears started streamed her face. She moved one of her hands from Gemini's neck and wiped away some of the tears, "Would you believe that I used to think I didn't even know how to cry?" She laughed, trying to dry her face unsuccessfully, "What on Earth have you done to me?" Raelynn asked, giving up the tear fighting effort to cup his cheek in her hand, "It's so unfair." His natural guy instinct told him to panic when he saw the tears start to run down her face. I- It took him a minute to realize the tears weren't sad and he relaxed a bit leaning into her touch. He wasn't quite sure how to the handle the emotional girl in front of him, one because it was Raelynn and this whole emotions thing was new to him, secondly because he was him and emotions made him uncomfortable for the most part. He moved a little closer to her wrapping his arms around her pulling her against him in a hug.

The hug was warm and perfect. Raelynn wrapped her arms around his neck to hold herself closer to him and buried her face in the crook of his shoulder. A deep breathe in and she could smell the hotel shampoo he had used. His damp hair was dripping on her slightly, but she didn't even think twice about it as she smiled and kissed him neck lightly, "..." She closed her eyes tightly and tried so hard to keep herself from saying it, but since she said it last night, it was all she could think about, "I love you, Gemini." She whispered, hoping without hope that he didn't actually hear her. |
