Against all of his better judgement he couldn't deny Raelynn's request to come over. He knew it was stupid completely stupid, Dani's room was right down the hall and if Raelynn was wrong and Becca did come back to the dorm, well then things were going to get shitty fast. He couldn't deny the pull that made him want to jump every time Raelynn called though.
Maybe as a subconscious disguise he had decided to dress very ungem like casual with a Star Lord t-shirt he had gotten for Christmas pulled over a fitted long sleeve shirt and his Seattle Seawhawks hat. If someone say him on the second floor of page hall it wouldn't be a big deal, if they saw him in front of 201 it might be.
He glanced down at Dani's closed door unable to ignore the guilt that weighed like a brick in his stomach. He took a deep breath knocking on the door. He took his phone out checking the score on the most recent seahawks game as a distraction from the nervousness that was setting in.

Raelynn was still texting away with Becca when she heard the knocking at the door. She gasped, dropping the phone on the pile of blankets she had built on the floor in front of the big screen TV, still on the title menu for the Guardians of the Galaxy DVD. She looked down at her outfit, a pair of Nike shorts and a Grooters tank top that was basically see through. She had on a black lacy bar you could basically see clearly through the shirt and she cringed a little, grabbing a lightweight jacket to try and cover it up. She left the jacket open to answer the door.
Even though she knew who it must be, seeing him standing there still took her breathe away. She couldn't help but smile as she opened the door without saying anything and motioned for him to enter. She couldn't hear her own thoughts over the loud beating of her heart in her ears, "Hey..." She almost whispered, as if saying something too loud would make him leave. |

In true Gemini fashion the first thing he did when she opened the door was look her up and down, his eye traveling up her long legs until her black lacey bra caught his attention and then the the tank top. He swallowed hard this was going to be harder than he thought With his eyebrows raised he said Grooters huh? Cute. It seems we match .He said pointing to his Star Lord t-shirt.Gemini strolled in shoving his phone back in his pocket as he did so trying to ignore the picture of the girl on his background. He glanced around their dorm room, he had only seen it from the hallway since Raelynn had moved in. Nice TV... He pulled his hat off running his fingers through his hair. He noticed the little blanket seating she had made and dropped down on it in front of the TV patting the spot next to him.

Raelynn bit her lip, closing the door softly behind him. She looked at her phone as it buzzed and shot a glare at the laptop before rolling her eyes and sliding her hoodie off. She tossed it on her bed and finally sat down next to Gemini, her knees at her chest as he commented on her new TV, "Yeah, It's amazing what millions of dollars will do for a girl's dorm room." She grinned, picking up the XBox One remote so that she could start the movie. Raelynn glanced sideways at Gemini, more than aware of his presence near her. Even though she was excited about this movie, every nerve in her body was on high alert, tracking his movement next to her and longing to just cuddle into his chest, "You ready?" She asking, holing up the remote to signify the movie. She honestly didn't know what else to say. |

Oh yeah, I'm sure... It was a rare moment that Gemini felt awkward or uncomfortable but this might have been one of those times. He was all too aware of Raelynn near him and it made his skin tingle like there was some kind of electrical pull between them. He leaned in closer to her unaware that he was doing so, which only seemed to make the pull worse. As much as Guardians had made it to the top of his list for favorite movies ever, well except for his all time secret one, He wasn't sure watching it right now in this moment was exactly what he wanted to do. He rubbed the tattoo on his wrist even though it was unseen under his shirt hoping that would help distract him. He gave her a mischievous smile Apsh! Girl I'm always ready.

Sitting up tall, Raelynn took in a deep breathe and smiled back at him, "Always ready, huh?" She said skeptically, looking him up and down. She knew, of anyone at this stupid school, that Gemini would be the one to get the sexual innuendo behind her statement, which she wasn't sure was a good thing, but it was too late now. The closer he got to her, the more distracting he was. The XBox One controller somehow ended up on the floor, her hand still loosely gripping it but making no effort to start the movie. Her legs lowered so she was no longer hugging them. Sitting crossed legged on the floor, Raelynn forgot that she was wearing a basically see-through tank top because she was so distracted by Gemini's green eyes. |

Gemini was realizing more and more that his attempt at a relationship with Dani wasn't working at least not since Becca and Aurora had started messing around and he was tired of trying to walk the monogamy line, he was already failing miserably so he might as well take the leap.

Not ten second after glaring at the camera, Raelynn had completely forgotten about Becca on the other end of the laptop. The force of Gemini tackling her into a kiss was enough to force her to the floor. She found herself laying in a pile of blankets with his weight on top of her, almost drowning in the intense feelings that washed over her like the tide. Once again, her arms snaked around her neck, holding him close to her as she knotted her fingers in his hair. His Seahawks hat fell off, landing on the floor next to her head, but Raelynn didn't even notice. She moaned into the kiss, the sound of "Hooked on a Feeling" playing on repeat in the background. The song couldn't have felt more appropriate for the situation. Holy shit. She had to break the kiss to catch her breath, "Gemini..." She groaned his name, her Grooters tank top riding up and revealing her midriff. |

Feeling like she was suffocating without his kiss, Raelynn used her hands, anchored in her hair, to pull him back into a kiss. She wrapped her legs around his waist and groaned. She couldn't get over how completely hot he was, or the feeling she couldn't even properly put into words that seemed to just take over all of her senses at once. She wasn't thinking about anything but pulling him as close to her as possible. Her fingertips left his hair and trailed down his back skillfully making their way under his Starlord t-shirt. His skin was hot to the touch and she felt like she was on fire. |

She is limited to only two weapons at a time, though she only usually takes one unless she's going for a bow and arrows. They always land safely in her palm with no chances of impalement, even if she turns around or moves her hand. The only way for this to injure another person is if they step in to the path of an incoming weapon before it switches directions. At some point, Dani has pulled herself away from the screen long enough to realize that Becca was right. She knew exactly what she had to do. Pulling a box out from under her bed, the one that held her birthday presents from Gem, she didn't even bother to remove the teddy bear and necklace that she kept there even a few weeks later. Maybe she had always known, even though her official justification had been that she just liked the box and wanted to keep it. Next came all of his clothes, even the hoodie that smelt more like her than it did him from so much use.
Her next stop was his room, making sure that she secured her door tightly before leaving. The last thing she wanted was for him to finish and then try to sneak down to her room because Raven was gone. Never again. Not as long as she lived. Her stuff was quickly stowed in her trusty duffel bag and his keys left with her phone and a note on the desk.

Her new phone that she hadn't activated yet was heavy in her pocket, but she didn't dare leave him the number. She wanted to talk to him even less than she did Becca. Once everything was done, she left his room quietly, like she had never been there before. One guy passed her in the hallway and asked her where her boy was, but all she could do was nod and continue back to her place. There was a finality in it, like she'd never be there again. This must be what the walk of shame felt like for other girls.
All in all, she hadn't been away from the computer long. Maybe ten minutes. Still, the images that greeted her were impossibly worse than when she had left. The box of his stuff was on her bed still. Maybe Rae enjoyed chocolate too and wouldn't mind the Hershey's bear and kisses necklace. Or maybe she hadn't worn it enough that Gem could just take it back. The one birthday where she actually had presents not bought by a social worker with a voucher...and she was handing them all over. Even the vodka.
The walk to Raelynn's room took either an instant or an eternity, she wasn't sure. At some point she ended up outside the door. Now all she had to do was put the box down and walk away. If only the universe worked like that.
Maybe she was more distressed than she thought or maybe some evil force had decided she had to face this head on. As she set the box down gently on the ground, she lost her balance and found herself flying head first in to the door with a loud bang. The impact and resulting shock stunned her for a minute as she laid on the ground, trying to find the strength to get up before someone inside could open the door and failing miserably. It didn't matter how hard she tried, there was no way she was moving under her own power until it was too late.

Gemini had been in the process of working Raelynn's shirt up further, his face buried against her neck when there a loud bang against the door. His head shot up, he looked at Raelynn a confused look on his face. Are you expecting someone..? Though the sound hadn't really sounded like a knock. Maybe it was the natural male instinct to investigate the weird noises but he reluctantly got to his feet still feeling dizzy and breathless from their make out session. Gemini scooped his hat off the floor before replacing it on his head knowing his hair must be a mess.
He opened the door and spotted the source of the noise, he felt his stomach flop and He wished that he had stayed on the floor with Raelynn. He didn't need a mirror to know that the color had drained from his face as he stared down at Dani biting his lip. It wasn't until he saw her laying that everything that had just happened hit him and the guilt seeped in making him feel like he was going to throw up. He didn't have to wonder if she had known he was there the box was evidence enough. The box filled with her birthday presents from their trip.He crouched down next to her tentatively reaching out his hand though he barely touched her Dani..I-...Are-.... He couldn't find the words.

    The feeling of emptiness overtook her as he stood up to answer the knock at the door, if you could even call that a knock. She bit her lip, disappointed and sat up, trying to smooth out the tangles in her hair and she peered over the bed at the door to see who it could be. There was only one person in the world she prayed it wouldn't be and when he said her name, Raelynn's whole w0rld seemed to shatter around her. She pulled at her tank top, making sure it covered her, before she slipped the jacket back on. Before walking to the door, Raelynn stopped at Rebecca's bed and picked up the laptop, "Did you do this?" She asked quietly to the computer, he eyes swimming with tears. Raelynn slammed the laptop closed and tossed it on the bed, deciding that she would deal with Becca later. Right now, she needed to decide if she was going to go to the door or not...
She was at the door before she had decided it would be better to leave well enough alone. She was running her fingers through her hair again, wishing it wasn't quite so messy from her make-out session with Gemini, "Dani? Are you....?" She words stuck in her throat because she already knew the answer, "Are you okay?"  |
