Somebody shine a light i'm frozen by the fear in me
It wasn't hard for Raven to find an empty training room, set up a table and two chairs facing across from each other. It was such a simple set up but it was going to be perfect for what she had in mind. Raven heard about the fight Ralph had with Gem and wasn't happy at all. Who would be. Though this time the normally happy understanding girl was replaced by a very determined and angry Raven. At that moment she wanted to just find Ralph and start yelling but knew that wasn't going to do anything. No she had to play her hand correctly. Ralph needed a lesson. A very strict lesson on manners.
She shot Ralph a text and left the room to go grab a couple of things. She wanted Ralph in the room before entering. She knew Ralph wasn't going to be thrilled with the whole thing but she knew it was important. She also shot a text out to those who said they would help out with the Ralph Reform that she was starting the manors lesson. She was making sure everyone involved was in the loop. This had to work for the sake of her friends. Also it was getting to be exhausting and she just wanted it to be over. She wanted Ralph and Dani to be happy and go back to the way things were. Well except this time people would be happy and what not.
Her hands were shaking slightly. This was not helping her anxiety and when this was over she needed a vacation, or some break to unwind. A spa trip might be nice. Somewhere out of state maybe.
Sent to Ralph Hey meet me in the third training room. There is a table and a couple chair set up. Have a seat and I'll be there in a little bit

Ralph's powers are actually that of Animal Morphing but he has yet to actually fully morph so it seems like its mere mimicry. Currently his abilities mean he has heightened senses, sight, hearing and scent.He also is highly sensitive to emotions and feelings (you've guessed it, yes be can smell fear). His powers are in the process of development and he's soon going to do the full morph. He's obviously very hairy from the power and he's also got many Wolf like quirks for example he will fight to gain dominance and if you win he is submissive. He sleeps curled up and will chase a ball if thrown to him. Another note is that Ralph is a carnivore and he eats ten times more than any eighteen year old does, he won't eat vegetables willingly. Also he's not allowed to have raw meat even slightly under cooked because it risks making him feral. He's also stronger than most eighteen years old and fitter with sharper reflexes but he's fairly easy to defeat when necessary, tranquilizers work very well.

| Notes// Ralph's in trouble | Ralph had been in hiding since his fight with Gem, it wasn't proper hiding if anyone came into his dorm they'd have found him there absentmindedly throwing a tennis ball at the wall and catching it again. Ralph was definitely feeling guilty for the things he said to Dani, but his courage failed him every time he considered picking up the phone to talk to her. He was also down about his friendship with Gem breaking down so suddenly over a girl, seriously who gets into a fight over a girl. It was ridiculous in his mind but he didn't express this outwardly.
It hadn't been that long before he'd got Raven's text. He groaned, that was faster than he thought it would be, news definitely traveled fast at Ashford. He was tempted to ignore the text because he couldn't be bothered to move, but he knew that would probably anger Raven more. He got up changed his clothes and made his way to the training room, he knew that she wouldn't be long. Ralph flopped down in one of the chairs she'd set up, he suddenly felt like a naughty child. It only took another few seconds before he started squirming and fidgeting.

Raven had gone to grab a book and a cup of tea. She needed something to calm herself down somewhat. The tea was helping. The book was for later. She walked up to the room to see Ralph had taken a seat. That was good now all she had to do was sit in the opposite chair and have a nice long chat with her friend. However the moment she entered the room she couldn't stop herself from gliding over to Ralph and slapping him upside the head. She said nothing as she sat down placed her tea on the table and crossed her legs neatly. She looked at Ralph with a stern look in her eyes and a blank expression. She was silent for a moment gauging Ralph's temperament.
"Control Ralph, you need to exercise control. First of you do not speak to any woman in the manor in which you exchanged words with Dani. I do not care what she said you need to hold your tongue" Her voice was strong and very stern. She was talking down to Ralph. It was something she had never done to anyone before but she knew how to do it. She was always talked down to at home. "Secondly you getting into a fight with Gem, your friend and Dani's best friend was injudicious and superfluous. You are making my job so much harder than it needs to be. It was already difficult now we are lucky if it isn't impossible" Raven tended to use the full extent of her vocabulary when she was angry. She always figured if she was going to insult someone to so it with flare. She took a deep breath realizing that he was going to have no idea what she was talking about, at least part of it.

| Notes// Ralph's in trouble | Ralph hoped Raven didn't take to long or he'd end up bolting because this sitting and waiting was making him nervous. Still out of it from the fight with Gem, which he remembers very clearly and was beginning to regret, Ralph didn't pick up on Raven's scent or hear her coming towards the room. So when she slipped in and slapped him upside the head he yelped just a little more from being startled than her slap actually hurting. He rubbed the back of his head glaring at Raven as she sat down. He wasn't used to this serious and angry Raven so it freaked him out just a little. He didn't show it though, unfortunately his earlier cocky bravado was resurfacing, it was the vulnerability her felt that caused this.
Ralph didn't like being talked down to, it set off a lot of his Alpha Male instincts that he had to ignore for the moment. He didn't meet Raven's eyes as the guilt was still eating at him, it didn't stop his next words though "She deserved everything she got." Ralph said to her, his tone just a tad defiant but it was clear he didn't mean it. He places his hands flat on the table in front of him. Big words and Raven were a bad sign, she must've been really ticked off. "Gem's an asshole." Ralph said in response. "I only headbutted him. I'd hardly call that fighting plus he was up in my face and had it coming anyway." Ralph responded. He remembered headbutting Gem and the rest is fuzzy. "Did, did I hurt him?"

Maybe she was being too harsh. No she needed to be. He really needed to hear this and no one else was going to sit him down and talk through the whole thing. She wasn't going to fight him. She didn't need to, her words were all she needed. All she ever needed. The moment she spoke up was the moment people listened. They didn't have to agree with her but many still just listened. She always wondered if she had the courage to speak up against her family if things would be different there. "Ralph she is still mad at you. What do you expect her to do. You have to fix this" She was a little calmer now. She sipped her tea as he talked about Gem. She really didn't mind Gem to much. Sure she didn't really know him but he had a good heart and cared for Dani. "He was standing up for Dani. You should respect that not go against it" Her hands were shaking again. She needed to stay calm or this conversation was not going far.
"You bit him. He will be fine but that is another person you need to make amends with" Why couldn't people just sit down and talk about their problems instead of throwing punches. Then again she was talking about humans, one of the more complicated species she had dealt with. "Look the wolf and I talked before and you really need to fix this. Keep your anger under control and act on this. Otherwise you are going to lose her forever" Raven's voice was more even and not as stern.

"There is no fixing this mess up I've made of everything." Ralph said his voice quiet as the guilt finally kicked the rest of his cockiness out of the way. Ralph nodded when she said he was standing up for Dani. "I you say so." Ralph said not in full agreement. He was pretty sure Gem had been trying to get a rise out of him, it seemed to work.
Ralph looked up at Raven, for a moment "I bit him!?" Ralph wasn't sure why that surprised him or concerned him. Him and Gem weren't friends now right? Ralph groaned and dropped his head onto his now folded arm burying his face in them. He wished he could remember whenever he shifted because this was something big. "I didn't mean to." Ralph said but his reply was muffled because his face was still buried in his arms. Ralph figures that him biting Gem explained why his ribs had protested any movement that morning. It seemed like Gem got his own shots in. "Wait you can talk to it?" Ralph's head shot up as he looked at Raven. Obviously something the Wolf said to her made his best friend determined to get him to resolve this and he wanted to.

The situation could be fixed and she was glad to see Ralph feeling remorse for everything. It was a good sign. She didn't like making her best friend feel so bad but someone had to do it. At least he was listening to her. She just hoped everything would be smooth sailing from here. It was exhausting. "Well at the Halloween thing Dani had me follow you guys out and well there was the wolf so we had a very interesting conversation. You know wolves mate for life. The wolf side of you has chosen Dani as that mate. Also I know deep down you feel it too. But he would never hurt her. He was confused the first time he saw her but it's different now" Raven explained. Hopefully Ralph would understand the wolf side. She wasn't sure anyone else really did. Explaining that to Dani was going to be interesting.
"I know you didn't mean to hurt your friend and you are the only one who can make this right. You need to go to Gem and apologize without loosing your temper or going off. Then you need to sit down with Dani and talk. You need to make the move and make up for what happened. You have to do this with humility" Raven explained. "You have been letting the wolf side control for so long that right now you need to let your humanity show. One way to really have a heart felt conversation with another human is to let your guard down and be humble as well as a gentlemen" This was going to be the real challenge. But if Ralph could pull this off without loosing control then it could work. It could all fall into place. It wasn't that he wasn't capable of it just Ralph was too impulsive and both were way too stubborn.

| Notes// Ralph's in trouble | Ralph did feel awful, not just because of the guilt but also physically. He was exhausted, had a headache, sore ribs and a brusied back. This made his sitting position very uncomfortable but he didn't say anything to Raven. He needed her help to make this right and had to behave himself."Wait so the Wolf wants me and Dani together?" Ralph said it was an interesting theory to get his head around but it made absolute sense, it also made sense that it attacked Gem. "That's why it attacked Gem, because of Dani." Ralph said he was clearly thinking about the situation.
Ralph shook his head at the talking to Dani and the apologizing part. "I can't Raven, I can't face them." Ralph replied his head now in his hands as the gravity of the situation finally settled on his mind. He wasn't sure this was fixable and this frustrated him all over again, "I can't Raven. I'm better off locking myself in my dorm room and never coming out." Ralph said. Those instincts he'd always reacted to were so ingrained into his being that it was going to be hard to not let the Wolf control him. After all it was a part of him right? How do you shutdown a part of yourself.

At least he understood the wolf now, figuratively. It was a step in the right direction then he took three steps back by saying he couldn't face them. Raven let out an exaggerated sigh as she rubbed her temples with her elbows on the table. She clasped her hands together and rested her forehead on them as she figured out the best way to call Ralph a coward for trying to run away. She figured that was too harsh and she needed to make sure she didn't tick him off or push him away further. It was really frustrating. Raven placed her hands back on the table and looked at Ralph.
"If you don't confront this head on now you will regret it for the rest of your life and lose any chance of controlling the wolf" She was going out on a limb with the wolf thing but she was running with it. "And if you go hide, then you will never be looked at as an alpha and would be considered a coward. Do you want to live with that for the rest of your life?" Raven asked. It was the nicest way she could put it. Maybe telling him such things would get him to make a move. "I am not saying it is not going to be hard and you probably shouldn't talk to them at the same time. But you need to make the first move like a real Alpha would. A leader is the one who makes the first gesture and then everyone follows suit" Ralph was an Alpha and needed to start acting like one.

Also he's not allowed to have raw meat even slightly under cooked because it risks making him feral. He's also stronger than most eighteen years old and fitter with sharper reflexes but he's fairly easy to defeat when necessary, tranquilizers work very well.

| Notes// Ralph's in trouble | Ralph vaguely understood the Wolf but understanding it fully would come with more training. He wasn't looking at Raven but heard her exasperated sigh. He was obviously making whatever she was trying to achieve difficult to achieve. He wasn't meaning to but the events from the past few months had him confused, tired and out right grouchy.
Ralph nodded as Raven told him he'd have to face this head on or regret it. "I know." Ralph agreed completely with her about regretting it, he already regretted it. Ralph shook his head, he didn't want to be known as a coward and his Wolf side wasn't about to allow that either. "Where do I start? Dani hates me, Gem hates me." Ralph sat up a little straighter, he wanted to fix this and he wanted to at least make Dani and Gem not want to hurt him even if they couldn't be friends anymore.

THE SIMPLER THE COMMAND THE EASIER IT IS TO CONTROL THE ANIMALS. RAVEN PREFERS TO JUST ASK THE ANIMAL IF THEY ARE WILLING TO DO SOMETHING RATHER THAN CONTROL THEM. He had a point. Both hated him right then. So what was the plan. He needed to do something big to really make everything right. "Well you should apologize to Gem for the fight as soon as possible. As for Dani you need to do something big, and I mean big" Raven thought for a moment on what he could do but this wasn't her strong suit. "I plan on talking to Dani here soon and get her side of things. You should go talk to the Music teacher, Mr Cooper. He can give you tips on making your move. It needs to be a big gesture so if you need anything for it let me know" She was wondering if she was missing anything. "Oh and her birthday is coking up so you might want to think fast" Raven figured that would be the determining cut off. She just hoped Ralph wouldn't loose control this time and take care of things like he needed to.
Raven was really done with the whole thing. She was going to set the pieces and then just leave it to them to figure it out. Like Cooper said, they couldn't force this but she was going to nudge and Ralph needed a bigger nudge than most.

He would definitely have to swallow his pride and apologize to Gem, they were friends and if he ever wanted to come close to that again that was the first step. "I can't ask a teacher for help. He doesn't even know me." Ralph needed all the help he could get and although generally he was on good standing with most of the adults it didn't mean he'd go to them with his issues especially not any of this kind. "I'll let her enjoy her birthday, no point wrecking hers like wrecked yours." Ralph told Raven. He still felt bad about the party and wolfing out especially since it was Raven's first real birthday. He knew something had to be done and fast but he wanted Dani to enjoy her birthday without him there to make it less than pleasurable. She'd probably be with Gem anyway.
"Why are you helping me?" Ralph asked, the question was asked because he knew that Raven had problems of her own and having to deal with his issues couldn't have been helping. "I'm sorry." Ralph knew that she was the first person he needed to apologize to, she was going through so much trouble for him and he couldn't ask for a better best friend.

There was one other person, well two that he could ask. "Well if you don't want to ask a teacher then maybe see if Fin can give you some help there. Not sure how willing he will be and he might hit you because of the whole thing with Dani. Maybe you should IM him instead" Meeting with Fin right now would not be the best idea for Ralph. But he did need some guy advice that she could not give. After her birthday was a good idea. She didn't think that he ruined hers if anything she did like talking to the wolf. "Don't think like that. You didn't ruin it, I enjoyed the conversation with the wolf. Oh and that reminds me no more Alcohol. The wolf says it messes with him so not to drink the poison" She hand't had a chance to relay that message.
She always thought the reason for her helping him was very clear. He was her friend and so was Dani. What other reason was there. "I guess because I never had any human friends till coming to this school. And the people here have become like my family and I don't like seeing them hurt" She was unnaturally calm when she gave her reason. Any time her past was brought up she would get really anxious or slightly depressed but she was doing a better job of keeping that to herself. "Just make this right. I don't feel like hitting you again" Raven was just kidding about the last part.

Ralph said scrubbing his hands down his face, he didn't want another fight even if Dani's little brother was hardly a real opponent. He would have no choice but to ask Jasper, Ralph sighed. "I'll figure something out." Ralph could've laughed at the fact that if it was anyone else he could've asked Gem to help. "It's funny, the one person who could've helped me hates me and is sleeping with the girl I need to make things right with." Ralph said, he had no bitterness in his tone as he looked back down at the table. Ralph chuckled at what Raven said, "He doesn't have to worry about that I'm not going near the stuff again. It's pretty much like drinking poison."
Ralph smiled at Raven and if there wasn't a table between them he might've hugged her. At least not everyone hated him, not yet anyway but he planned to keep it that way. "I'll try and make things right." Ralph said his mood much more cheery than before. "Oh yeah that hurt by the way. Just so you know. " Ralph joked it hadn't hurt that much.

"Well Dr. Cooper said his doors are open. He usually stays late so if you change your mind about that, he is an option" Rave gave a sly grin. She liked having some plan worked out. Fin was going to talk with Dani, Ralph could go to Cooper and all she had to do now was talk with Dani. After that everything else would be out of her control. She would just have to leave everything to Ralph and Dani to figure it out. Sure she wanted more than anything they would realize their love for each other but she would settle for the drama to be over and them not hating each other. That is all that mattered right now.
Raven nodded, convinced that Ralph was going to turn things around now. "I was going to use a book but then thought that it would be too mean...to the book that is" She teased. She really did think about hitting him with her book but she didn't want to damaged the book in any way. She was that angry with him. She didn't even realize how mad till she walked into the room. She swore she was surrounded by children most of the time. Even if a good number were legally adults.
