ANIMAL MORPHING (WOLF) |
Ralph's powers are actually that of Animal Morphing but he has yet to actually fully morph so it seems like its mere mimicry. Currently his abilities mean he has heightened senses, sight, hearing and scent.He also is highly sensitive to emotions and feelings (you've guessed it, yes be can smell fear). His powers are in the process of development and he's soon going to do the full morph. He's obviously very hairy from the power and he's also got many Wolf like quirks for example he will fight to gain dominance and if you win he is submissive. He sleeps curled up and will chase a ball if thrown to him. Another note is that Ralph is a carnivore and he eats ten times more than any eighteen year old does, he won't eat vegetables willingly. Also he's not allowed to have raw meat even slightly under cooked because it risks making him feral. He's also stronger than most eighteen years old and fitter with sharper reflexes but he's fairly easy to defeat when necessary, tranquilizers work very well.

Ralph sighed rolling his eyes slightly at Raven's sly grin. "Fine I'll go see Dr.Cooper." Ralph said straightening up a little. "But I think I'd like to apologise to Gem first. I couldn't remember biting him and I feel terrible about it."
Ralph told her, Gem was his best guy friend and he hated the fact that he'd hurt him. He'd done exactly what he'd been avoiding. "I've also got training scheduled with Coach Bash, he says he has some ideas to help me learn to trust myself, wolf side included." Ralph said. He'd also have to schedule some training with Kale at some point, maybe sooner rather than later.
"That's why you're such a great friend. Your loving concern for the written word." Ralph joked, although she was a good friend. He could tell Raven was practically seething when she'd walked into the room earlier but she seemed much calmer now and he was grateful for that. "I'm such an idiot."

Raven was full satisfied with his response. This went better than she previously believed. She nodded at his plan to see Gem and was very happy that he was going to be getting some training in. She could only help so much with that. She was great with animals but people were very different. She was just glad there were some very capable teachers at the school willing to help out in more ways than one. "That is an excellent start. Before you know it you will have the whole shifting thing under control" She was fully confidant that he would control this. When he was determined about something it happened.
"That we can both agree on" She teased when he said he was an idiot. Her mood was much better. She was going to take the time to relax that weekend. By then all the talks will be over and she would be done. It would be out of her hands at that point.

It seemed Raven was satisfied by Ralph's plan which made Ralph smile. He knew that between Raven, Cooper,Bash and Asher he could get this thing under control and hopefully fix things with Dani and Gem. "I want to get control of this thing sooner than later." Ralph said with a smile. He was more confident about getting it under control now with all the support he had. "Thanks Raven."[/]
Ralph laughed again. "Seriously Raven, I owe you so much." Ralph said, he was being serious again now. "I'm such a bad friend to make you so mad."

She shook her head. "You are not a bad friend. Every good friendship has its ups and downs it's what makes us human. It is how we handle those ups and downs that describe us as a person" Raven didn't realize how physiological and cliche that sounded. "I have been reading too much. Now I sound like my books" Raven joked. She didn't really think she was reading too much, for here there was no such thing. "So subject change, you are going with me to the tattoo parlor right?" Raven asked deciding on something a little more happy to talk about. She still hadn't picked something to get. She had a couple ideas but wasn't totally sure what she wanted permanently etched into her skin. That is what friends were for, to help out with rash or hard decisions.

Ralph chuckled, he knew how much his friend loved reading and the thought of her sounding like her precious reading material made him smile. Ralph heard her question and nodded enthusiastically, "Definitely! Although I don't need to get a tattoo. Have you decided on something yet?" Ralph ask with a massive grin. He wasn't about to let his friend do something this drastic alone.

"I just know if I went by myself I would not walk through the door" Raven laughed. She wanted to get the tattoo but couldn't bring herself to go and just get it done. She needed a little extra push. Also if someone was there her pride would kick in and she would go through with it to not look like a quitter. "I have a couple ideas. And don't laugh but they all involve ravens" It was a bit cheesy that the tattoos she liked all involved her name but they were the ones she liked best. Raven smiled and finished her tea. "Well I do believe we are done here" She said as she stood up. "You up for a quick bite?" She offered. She did kind of felt bad for the whole yelling thing.

Ralph chuckled again, "I'll happliy drag you through the door." Ralph was of course joking he'd never get physical with anyone, except apparently Gem but he had been winding Ralph up. "Raven's are a great idea, baby bird." Ralph said with a smile, it really would be very fitting for the girl. "If I was getting on it would be a Wolf, Ralph means Wolf counsel you know." As a kid he could never understand why his parents named him that but when his powers manifested it suited him more and he learnt to love it. Ralph stood up after Raven and grimaced slightly at her question. A quick bite unfortunately had dual meaning to him now. "A bite would be good as long as its not human." Ralph joked. At least he still had his sense of humor.

Raven was glad getting a bid tattoo wasn't too odd. She was intrigued by his name meaning. She knew the meaning of her name, which was obvious but it was interesting to hear the meaning of other names. And for one to fit so well it was really interesting. "That is a really cool coincidence. Mine isn't as interesting. If you put my fist and middle name together it means raven of the forest" Raven laughed. She didn't bother mentioning that her mother named her that because she hated ravens more than any other bird. Raven chuckled at his joke and decided to run with it. "No, I heard human is too chewy" She gave him a wink and headed towards the door after grabbing her belongings. "What are you in the mood for? My treat" She motioned for him to join her.

Ralph smiled at Raven, "I like your name it does suit you." Ralph replied. "Raven of the Forest, it has a nice ring to it." Ralph liked his own name too, but he couldn't understand how some parents could give their kids stupid or weird names, especially if they were sober unlike his father was when he was born. Ralph laughed again as Raven walked to the door. "I have no real preference, I'll eat pretty much anything." He said as he followed Raven to the door.

The more she thought about it the more she agreed with Ralph. Her name really did suit her very well. She was going to make another joke about him eating anything but figured she just let that one slide. Maybe next time. "Lets just head to the Student Union and see what looks appetizing. Though that shouldn't be hard for you" Raven teased. The dining area had a wide variety of foods so there was always something she was in the mood for. It was already starting to feel like everything was going back to normal. "So how are classes going?" She asked, making idle conversation while heading towards the student union. She knew Ralph wasn't much of a class person but it still didn't hurt to ask.
