The sun beating through the ceiling to floor window next to Raelynn's bed made her shake herself awake. She coould tell before she ever looked in the mirror that her makeup was probably leaving streaks of obnoxious black down her cheeks. When he had gotten home the night before, she had collapsed on the bed in a pile of silent tears, having waited to cry until she was all alone and no one would see. She rolled out of bed, rubbing her legs where to bits of gold plastic that hung from her dress had pressed into them. She regretted sleeping in that god-awful dress. It didn't take her long to wash her face and throw her hair into a straight blonde ponytail on the top of her head. She slid into her american flag themed bathing suit ensemble and pulled and lacey white pull over across the top of it, hiding her skin from view.
When Raelynn left to hop on the elevator, she noticed that someone was sitting/laying on the couch in the lounge but didn't stick around long enough to see which of her friends it was. If it wasn't Gemini, it was someone who would want to talk about Gemini and she just wasn't into that at the moment. She waited impatiently for the elevator to finally open for her, rocking back and forth on her heels as she did. |

When they had finally gotten back to the hotel Gemini had passed out on one of the couches in the lounge completely clothed, still covered in glitter. The pitter patter of footsteps moving through the lounge woke him up but he didn't bother to check to check who it was. He opened his eyes slowly only to slam them shut. Shouldn't I be dead, I feel like I should be dead. Moving very slowly he moved himself into a sitting position, still keeping his eyes closed. Small bits of the night flashed through his memory, some of it more hazey than others. The fight with Raelynn was unfortunately the more clearer memory he had, he was hoping that enough liquor would have erased the empty look in her eyes when she had turned to look at him before leaving him standing in the club but no such luck.
He stood up stretching making a groaning noise as all of his muscles objected. His knees felt weak. He had slept like a log. Turning to look around the suite he saw Rae waiting for the elevator in a lacy pull over and what he assumed was a bikini underneath. Great He didn't know what to say or how to say it? I'm sorry? Good morning? Don't hate me?

It was taking a long, long time for the elevator to fetch her and Raelynn wondered if maybe the power had gone out again. But the lights shining above the bar told her otherwise. She heard movement behind her and couldn't help the curiosity the overwhelmed her. She turned her head and made that awkward few second of eye contacts with the one person she desperately hoped had actually made it to his room.
Still in the clothes from the night before, Raelynn took a bit of solace in the face that his night didn't seem to have gone much better than hers. The feeling of annoyance she had expected to feel when seeing him again had instead been replaced by a strange sense of anger and hurt. She rolled her eyes and turned away from him, "Great." She muttered tapping her foot as the elevator crawled up towards her. The desire to fill the room with words overwhelmed her and she spouted, "Stay over there. I don't want any of the angel bitch's glitter on me." She snapped. |

It was a knee jerk reaction that he had regretted the minute he said it but the sun was hurting his eyes, his head felt like someone was beating it like a drum. He looked at her kind of confused when she mentioned angel bitch. Who was...Oh The redhead from the strip club Is that what her name was? He said his tone light and joking though he figured Rae was in no mood for jokes. The simple thing would be for him to just apologize, but Gemini really wasn't that simple.

Her eyes were wide as she spun around and starreda t him, "You don't remember? Seriously?" She stomped across the room just as the elevator slid open, but she didn't care, "Let me remind you.." She tugged at the collar of her cover up and revealed a long red scratch on her shoulder, "You're almost wife attacked me, then almost got me arrested." She let the lacey white cover up slide back over her shoulder as she crossed her arms and glared at him, "And that was just the icing on the Gemini shaped cake last night." Raelynn didn't know what she was more mad about, the fact that he didn't remember or the fact that it happened at all. One thing he knew for sure, though, was that she had been extremely jealous of StarrAngelLady. It was a realization that made Raelynn wanted to keep at least five feet between her and Gemini at all times, like if they got too close something might literally explode, "Not that it matters. At least you didn't end up married to her..." Although she tried to sound annoyed, a strange tone a relief came out with her words. Raelynn's face flushed red and he tried to turn around to catch the elevator before it closed again but she was too late. |

The last thing he needed was third degree burns along with the massive hang over he had, though maybe if she could manage to kill him at the same time it'd be a relief. A few pieces from the night and the chapel came to memory. Ralph, Dani, Oh. And Rae and whatever her name was fighting. He eyed the scratch she showed him and honest feeling of guilt set into his chest.

Cute. He smiled as she almost hit him in the face with her ponytail. He felt relief with the change in her demeanor. He didn't want to have to beg her for forgiveness, the words literally would not leave his mouth but he couldn't stand the thought of her being angry at him, for whatever reason.
Maybe getting out of the suite and getting some fresh air would help his headache. Laying around the suite would just depress him. He was in Vegas after all. Apsh. I'll try I don't do anything quickly.I'll get there when I get there. He replied purely out of defiance sticking his tongue out her.
He headed off to the suit to quickly change into his black swim trunks and a white t-shirt. He didn't bother fixing his hair since it was just going to become a mess anyway. Lastly, he grabbed his aviator sunglasses sliding them on his face. There was no way he facing the sunlight head on. And I'm here. He said returning to her side.

The silver doors of the falling death trap slid open just as Gemini joined her. She smirked at him and laughed as he shuffled onto the elevator and leaned against the warped glass wall once again. The view from the elevator deck now, as opposed to the night before, was amazing. The colors of Vegas in the daytime, lined in the distance by a rolling red desert made Raelynn smile, "I love it here." She sighed, pressing her forehead against the glass, "I don't really want to go to Caliornia anymore..." She confessed, giving Gem a sideways glance.

After everything that happened last night I'm sure everyone would be chill skipping California. He stared out the window looking over the city. He personally didn't find beauty in the desert and regarded it as just looking dead. He missed the crazy amount of green that Washington had along with the water and the Seattle skyline. I know you just got in touch with Becca. But have you considered just moving here if you like it so much, I'm sure Becca would come visit.

Raelynn narrowed her eyes and pulled the black Ray Bams off the top of her head to block the sunlight that seemed to be punching her in the face with the fist of the Kool Aid Man. She nodded and glanced at Gemini, "Not a bad idea..." She murmured, "I don't think Bex would mind anyway...anything to get me away from Liam. And she is the only one in Calloway who might miss me." Taelynn laughed and turned away from the window as the elevator reached the ground floor.
The pool was through two large glass sliding doors in the back of the lobby. Waiters and waitresses walked around with trays of mimosas and there were so many lounge chairs open that Raelynn couldn't help but run over the one near the in pool bar and swim herself across it. She pulled the lacy white dress thing over her head and tossed it on the ground unceremoniously, "What an awesome day!" She could already feel the heat of the Nevada sun setting in and tanning her skin, which made he squirm with happiness. She grabbed a mimosa from a nearby pool boy and winked at him as she slipped him a tip, "Keep 'em comin' honey." |

Gem felt his heart sink a bit when she mentioned that moving to Nevada might not be a bad idea. Though he really couldn't understand why it mattered, He hadn't known Raelynn very long it's not like if Dani left or even Becca. He followed her through the pool area taking in all the sights. He couldn't help but stare when she pulled her lace dress cover over her head. The image of Raelynn in her bikini brought back memories of the night in his dorm room. Nope. Not Going there. Baseball. He tried to distract himself shoving the thoughts away.
He couldn't contain the eye roll that was luckily hidden behind his sunglasses. He was sure if it was because Raelynn was flirting with another guy or if it was to himself for feeling that now oh too familiar surge of jealousy. He pulled the white t-shirt over his head and dropped it down on the ground next to one of the chairs. The sun felt good against his skin and was welcomed considering fall was starting in Calloway. He cocked and eyebrow over the rim of his sunglasses I can't even imagine how you're drinking right now. If he couldn't get rid of his hangover later maybe he would but for now, the idea turned his stomach.

When Gemini made a comment about her drinking, she cocked an eye brow at him and nodded her head at the pool boy. He rushed over with another tray of orange juice and champagne and she grabbed two, "Mimosas are the best medicine for a hangover." She insisted, holding out the champagne flute to Gemini, "I insist you have at least one." She finished off her first one and tart in on the second, standing up to stretch before dipping her leg into the water. She did this movement for one reason only, and it wan't to cool off her leg in the water. With the stretching, she knew he would be showing off her curves, but she didn't expect for Gemini to strip down in front of her. Thankful for her large black sunglasses, Raelynn but her lip and grinned at Gemini, "Care to go for a swim?" She asked, finishing the second drink. |

If there were other girls in the pool area Gemini hadn't noticed, He couldn't take his eyes off of Raelynn, enjoying the view of her curves he was thankful for the sunglasses or he might have come off as creepy. He let out a slow breath. Taking another sip of the mimomsa.
Ha, of course. He said with a smile before sitting the glass down. Sitting on the edge of the pool he scooted in welcoming the cold water. He leaned against the wall of the pool hanging off the edge by his elbows. So besides the obvious did you have a good night last night? He asked trying to do anything to distract himself from Raelynn in her bikini.

Raelynn rolled her eyes and didn't even care if Gemini saw it, "Oh yeah it was greeeeat." She said sarcastically, "I got trashed and went to the first dorm room I got invited to." There was a hint of malice in her voice she didn't mean to add in but what was done was done. She slipped into the pool and let her head going under the water. Her blonde hair fanned out and when she finally resurface, it stuck to the back of her neck. Her sunglasses had fallen off and were floating in the water in front of her, "Becca would love this." She said, and then he laughed, "I guess. The whole water thing, right?" Rae made a face like she wasn't sure if that was true. |
