Ralph's powers are actually that of Animal Morphing but he has yet to actually fully morph so it seems like its mere mimicry. His powers are in the process of development and he's soon going to do the full morph. He's obviously very hairy from the power and he's also got many Wolf like quirks for example he will fight to gain dominance and if you win he is submissive. He sleeps curled up and will chase a ball if thrown to him. Another note is that Ralph is a carnivore and he eats ten times more than any eighteen year old does, he won't eat vegetables willingly. Also he's not allowed to have raw meat even slightly under cooked because it risks making him feral. He's also stronger than most eighteen years old and fitter with sharper reflexes but he's fairly easy to defeat when necessary, tranquilizers work very well.

Ralph knew he could trust Raven not to say anything but he also knew that at somepoint he'd have to say something to one of the trainers, especially if he was going to attack people. What would happen if Kale had them in group training and he shifted? Would his alter ego turn on Raven or Dani. He didn't care so much if it was Kale his wolf side attack, he was getting what was coming to him but the girls, he would hate it if they got hurt because of him.
Ralph never looked at Raven as weak or useless, it took a very strong person to be happy and cheerful all the time. Not everyone could hide their problems and troubles with a smile on their face. Ralph walked next to her, the comfortable silence was good but Ralph never stayed quiet to long and by the looks of his best friend she had something on her mind. "What about you? Why were you out here?" Ralph asked. He knew she couldn't sleep but that was it. He shifted the focus to her because she had texted him afterall and she definitley had something on her mind other than him shifting. The one thing that his Wolf side he did like was the amazing senses it provided him, and whatever people were feeling it often passed onto him, so very often when Raven may have thought she was hiding her emotions well, Ralph had felt and in some cases smelt every single one.

She should have figured he was going to ask her. She couldn't sleep was the reason for being about here but that wasn't the question he was asking. She didn't know what to say. Raven was never good at expressing her feelings to anyone. Sure she could tell her pets but people were different. It wasn't always as easy with people. "It's silly really" Raven knew it wasn't but at the same time she did view her worries and self pity silly and not necessarily. Sure the thoughts were there but that didn't make them true.
"I guess I am just worried. So much is going on with you and Dani and there really isn't anything I can do to help" She smiled weakly as she spoke. There really wasn't much she could do to help out her friends. It still was a downer. She wanted to be there but if she didn't even know them to help then what could she do. Act like everything was alright? Even she wasn't that good of an actor. Sure she could keep up with the smile around them and just make it seem like everything was fine but she felt like that wouldn't work out the way she would want it to. People were so complicated.

"It can't be silly if its going to keep you awake." Ralph commented, he wasn't trying to pry but his friend definitely seemed troubled and he wanted to help her. Silly or not. She was always such a positive person to see her not so happy wasn't good and Ralph couldn't stand it. Maybe they both just needed a distraction but what? There was nothing to do in this sleepy town? "We need a distraction."
Ralph gave her a warm smile, of course she was worried about them, Raven just had some much room in her heart and her concern for both him and Dani proved it. "Hey look." Ralph said stopping for a moment and putting a hand one each of her shoulders. "You're helping enough by just listening. I'm going to have to figure this thing out on my own and Dani is a strong person she'll work her stuff out." Ralph said with an encouraging smile. Raven just being their had made him feel better, Raven was an amazing friend. What more could he want? Ralph pulled her into a hug for a moment. "Just keep smiling." Raven's happy and positive attitude helped turn any dark situation just a little bit brighter. |

Just listening to him say her being there was helpful was enough. Being hugged by Ralph was like having a giant strong teddy bear give you a hug. And it made Raven feel safe. "That I can do" She half whispered when he said to keep smiling. She took a deep breath and thought about what type of distraction there was at this time of night. She pulled away from the hug with her normal grin and looked up at the night sky before looking back at Ralph. "So what on earth could we do at this time?" She asked. They weren't even suppose to be out but she knew that wasn't going to stop either of them from finding something to distract their mind.
She still had negative thoughts swimming in her mind and was going to be worried till everything was sorted out. She just had to keep going with a smile like always. If that is what it took to make her friends feel better she was going to do it.

| Notes// XP | Ralph was bigger than Raven so he didn't hug her too hard for fear of hurting her. He did smile down at Raven when she said she could keep smiling, "Good". Finding a distraction this late was indeed going to be hard, maybe if they were in a big city there might've been something to do. Not so much in a sleepy town like the one they were in."We could go to The Oasis. It's probably the only thing that's open this late." Ralph suggested, although a dive bar really wasn't Raven's scene it was the only thing that came to Ralph's mind.
Ralph guessed Raven's mind would still be busy, that was why he suggested a distraction. They both needed it, her maybe more than him.

Raven never really payed attention to how much smaller she was compared to Ralph till times like these. But it wasn't a bad thing. If anything she liked it. It was just a safe feeling that she had grown used to with Ralph around. She was kind of worried how that image will change if he lost control again. It was a worrisome thought.
The Oasis was most likely the only thing open. At that moment she really didn't care. The only thing was getting there. She could drive and did have her car, thankfully. But walking wouldn't be too bad. Just more time consuming . She figured she would leave it up to Ralph since she didn't really care herself. "That sounds good. Do we want to walk or drive?" She asked making sure she smiled warmly. Stay Positive. She had been to The Oasis once or twice before and figured a game of pool and cheep food might just be the distraction they needed.

The Wolf thing had changed things between him and Dani, he knew it was for good reason but it didn't mean he had to like it. "We're still friends right?" Ralph asked to reassure himself, although he has yet to shift when Raven was around so that might change anyways.
"If we drive we can get there faster. Plus its kinda cold for walking." Ralph said, the fall nights were fast getting colder. The Oasis would provide at least a little distraction for them, plus they had a jukebox with some alright tunes on. Food, Pool, Music and good company sounded like just what they needed. "Come on let's go before we get caught. "

The question was a little concerning. Why wouldn't they still be friends. "Hey that is never going to change. You turning into a wolf has nothing to do with our friendship. Besides animals are kind of my thing so it doesn't concern me" Raven didn't want there to be any doubt that his shifting would change their friendship. It would also be very hypocritical of her to be bothered by it with her love for all things animal.
She nodded and headed to the parking lot where her Black accord hybrid waited for them. "Hop in" she stated as she unlocked the car and got into the drivers seat. The care still looked new even if it was a year old now. She was big on keeping things clean and neat. It was mainly because having pets and animals around could get messy but as long as she kept things clean she didn't need to worry about the animals getting hurt.

Ralph got into the passenger seat of the car and smiled at Raven, the last time he was in the passenger seat of car he was only wearing his boxers and it didn't end well. "Nice car." Ralph commented, the car was very clean but Raven had always seemed like the clean and tidy type. Ralph pulled his seatbelt across and buckled up.

"Thanks" She replied to the car comment. She did like the car a lot. Granted she wanted to get a motorcycle when she turned eighteen for the hell of it. But she was still undecided about that. One of the few things she liked about being born into her family was that money was never a problem.
She drove in silence. There really wasn't a need to speak, she just focused on driving. She wasn't sure exactly what happened between Ralph and Dani. Her roommate didn't really want to talk about it and this was the first time seeing Ralph since then. She wanted to ask but figured she would find out later. This was the time for a distraction not pull from unwanted emotions. It didn't take long to arrive at the Oasis. Raven parked and got out. "Well here we are. Ready for that distraction" She asked. She looked at the building. She kind of liked the look of it. It had its charm and really was the only thing that would be open at this hour.

| Notes// XP | Ralph was glad for the quiet as the drove, although the hum of the engine had him nearly falling asleep considering he hadn't slept very much. It did help him gather his thoughts, it also made him miss Dani just that little bit. "I broke it off." Ralph said looking down at his hands, he still wasn't sure if breaking it off between him and Dani was the right thing to do.
Once they pulled up outside the oasis Ralph nodded, "You bet I'm ready." Ralph said. He got out of the car and ran to other side, opening the door for Raven. He was glad he'd made sure to grab his wallet before he left his dorm because they were going to need it.

SHE CAN GET VERY CONFUSED ON WHO SHE IS TALKING WITH OR WHERE A CONVERSATION IS COMING FROM IF SHE HAPPENS TO BE IN EARSHOT OF SOME ANIMAL.
CONTROLLING IS A BIT DIFFERENT. IT ISN'T A SPOKEN COMMAND IT IS MORE OF A MENTAL ONE. IT TAKES TOTAL CONCENTRATION AND SHE CAN'T CONTROL AN ANIMAL FOR MORE THAN AN HOUR, NOT THAT SHE WANTS TO. ANY LONGER AND IT CAUSES MASSIVE HEADACHES, NOSE BLEEDS AND IN SOME CASES SHE WILL PASS OUT BUT THAT DOESN'T HAPPEN TILL THE TWO HOUR MARK. THE SIMPLER THE COMMAND THE EASIER IT IS TO CONTROL THE ANIMALS. RAVEN PREFERS TO JUST ASK THE ANIMAL IF THEY ARE WILLING TO DO SOMETHING RATHER THAN CONTROL THEM. IF HER CONCENTRATION IS BROKEN SHE LOOSES CONTROL.

Somebody shine a light i'm frozen by the fear in me
Raven always liked the idea of her roommate and her best friend going out. She thought they were perfect for each other. That was really sad to hear they did break up. Now Dani's reaction to the whole thing made sense. Also she could see why. He wouldn't want to risk hurting anyone till he had control of the wolf. Raven didn't say anything on the matter. She figured it was a night to have some fun and forget all the other stuff.
"Good cause I am starving" Raven joked as she headed in. The place was always worn down somewhat but at least there was music and she didn't mind playing pool. It was one of those games you could play alone so she learn a while back. She hadn't played in a while so she figured she was rusty. "Up for some pool?" She asked.

ANIMAL MORPHING (WOLF) |
Ralph's powers are actually that of Animal Morphing but he has yet to actually fully morph so it seems like its mere mimicry. Currently his abilities mean he has heightened senses, sight, hearing and scent.He also is highly sensitive to emotions and feelings (you've guessed it, yes be can smell fear). His powers are in the process of development and he's soon going to do the full morph. He's obviously very hairy from the power and he's also got many Wolf like quirks for example he will fight to gain dominance and if you win he is submissive. He sleeps curled up and will chase a ball if thrown to him. Another note is that Ralph is a carnivore and he eats ten times more than any eighteen year old does, he won't eat vegetables willingly. Also he's not allowed to have raw meat even slightly under cooked because it risks making him feral. He's also stronger than most eighteen years old and fitter with sharper reflexes but he's fairly easy to defeat when necessary, tranquilizers work very well.

| Notes// XP | Ralph had already started to miss Dani and really wanted her to be in his life but that wasn't going to happen while there was potential for his Wolf side to rip her to shreds. He knew it was a risk being out with Raven, unlike Dani though if Raven felt her life was at risk controlling the Wolf would be a doddle and neither Raven or he would get hurt.
"Me too but I'm always hungry so no surprise there." Ralph replied to Raven's comment about being starving. His Wolf side was never satisfied and this left Human Ralph's appetite something to be contended with. It wasn't unknown for him to be asked how he eats so much without putting on weight. He put on weight of course, he was 200lb after all but it was more muscle than access body fat. Ralph was simply and 6ft 2, chunk of muscle. "I'm always up for some pool." Ralph said to Raven with a smile. He loved pool although he hadn't played for a long time. He had in past games felt the urge to chase the balls, especially the moving ones but now he knew why because he was essentially a dog. A talking dog, the fact that Gem calls him Scooby couldn't be more accurate.

She looked at the menu and decided on just a soda and some fries. She didn't really want to eat too much because of how late it was. She was glad that she never had to worry about what she ate. She was active enough that it didn't matter. That didn't mean she ate whatever. Usually it was something healthy. She was just glad she could get a good swim year around since that was her normal form of a workout.
After ordering a something to drink and eat Raven headed to one of the pool tables. She set up the cue balls and grabbed one of the available cue sticks. "Haven't played in a while so might be a little rusty" She smiled and looked over to Ralph.

| Notes// XP | Ralph ordered the same as Raven, he just didn't feel like eating much. His stomach was uneasy with all the recent events. Fries wasn't the healthiest option but Ralph's metabolism was ridiculously fast and he'd soon work the calories off. He would occasionally go to the gym but he really had no set workout but he was definitely an active person.
Ralph followed Raven with his own food to the pool table. He returned her smile, "We're in the same boat here baby bird." Ralph said in response to her comments about not having played in a while. He didn't even realise that he'd just called her baby bird as he waited for her to take her shot.
