Aurora’s an empath. She can use her power to feel other people's emotions and assess situations around her. This can allow her to comfort people pretty easily and avoid other situations. Occasionally She can change someone's mood but it doesn't happen often, doing so is extremely draining and isn't worth the effort. One of the down falls to being an empath is it can be overwhelming when someone has intense emotions or when She is in a large group who is experiencing a lot of different emotions. Sensing other people's emotions can effect her mood.

Aurora awoken feeling stiff and achey, as well as, emotionally off. She wasn't sure if the feeling came from homesickness or something else but she needed to shake it. She had dressed in a pair of shorts and tank top, grabbed her yoga mat and, a cup of iced green tea on her way to the lake. The morning was nice, warm enough in the sun but the water kept it from being too warm. There was a slight breeze that gave the lake it's own melody of gently lapping water and soft calming rustle of the leaves on the trees. Aurora inhaled a deep breath and exhaled. She missed the saltly smell of the ocean but the lake was as good as it was going to get this morning. She made her way down toward the lake scouting out the prime spot. She spotted one in an area of soft grass directly next to the lake. She ditched her flip flops and sat down her backpack before rolling out her yoga mat. She sat cross legged on the mat and pulled her backpack open pulling out her Iphone which she flipped to her favorite Pandora station which happened to be a Jack Johnson one. She took a sip of her iced green tea before setting it with her backpack. She pressed the bottoms of her feet together leaning over into the stretch she took a deep breath enjoying the release of the stiffness in her lower back. She exhaled and set back up. She was starting to feel better already

After a few long and complicated days back in the dorms, Becca was more than ready to spend some time down at the lake. For a hydrokinetic, natural water was one of the most calming things in the entire world. Sure, showers could help out or even a pool, but the chemicals felt wrong against her skin. It just wasn't the same, but it was all she had ever since all of the drama started.
Calm waters greeted her as she walked along the shore line, playing with the waves and moving a stream of water in front of her as Becca walked towards an unfamiliar shape. Someone else had apparently decided to soak up some sun before the rest of camps woke up, not that it bothered Becca at all. It would be nice to see someone other than Liam and Raelynn for a while. Maybe they were almost sane.
"Morning!" She called once she was close enough for her voice to carry without yelling. It was too pretty of a morning for those harsh tones.

Aurora turned when she heard someone say Hello. She gave a small wave and took another sip of her green tea. She hadn't expected anyone to be down by the lake this early. "Hello" She said as the girl approached she looked familar what was her name Becca? Raelynn? Something like that. "How are you this morning? " She asked as she stood up she felt weird sitting while someone else was standing.

"Better than I have been, worse than I could be." Becca replied with a small laugh, settling down in the sand a little ways away with a smaller ball of water floating between her hands. It felt cool as it snaked up her arm and rested there like a piece of jewelry. Part of her wished she could hold it there forever, but right now it would take too much concentration. "What about you? This place looks....serene this morning."

She saw Rebecca playing with the water. "Hydrokentic, Very cool." She sometimes wishes she had gotten a more interesting power like that. It was nice not having to worry about controlling it and worrying about it getting out of control and hurting people but it definitely didn't have the showman ship of other powers. "It is very serene this morning." Aurora agreed. She closed her eyes feeling the sun on her face and sighed. She sat back down on the ground cross legged. "I'm Aurora by the way, What brings you down here this morning?"

"Honestly? The fresh water. As she spoke, she sent the small ball flying back towards the lake before letting it go just over the surface of the water. Sure, it wasn't enough to mess with her, but there was no use in keeping it up forever. Becca was more than close enough for the water to be refreshing. "I mean, regular tap water is fine and all, but the chemicals make it feel weird. Out here it's almost completely pure and that is the most calming thing in the entire world. "
