TELEPORTATION |
Gideon's power is that of teleportation which means he can travel instantaneously from one place to another without the occupying the space between. Gideon's power takes intense focus and lots of energy. The further the distance the more energy needed and the more concentration required. The same applies if he's teleporting objects or other people. He has a special link with a girl and he can feel where she is anywhere on the planet and teleport to her without any energy used, she's a telepath and has a telepathic link with him. However there is a major hitch, Gideon needs something from the place he's going to in order to make sure he gets there safely. He's got a good understanding of his power and can teleport on command when necessary. If he does however teleport without a 'anchor' from where he's going the chance that he gets stuck in between is increased. Being stuck between here and there is like a sort of limbo, he is conscious and alive but not really there. The space between here and there is known to him as nowhere, time doesn't even reach this dimension and so therefore if he gets stuck it can be for a few hours to a few years and he'd have no idea. He's only been stuck in nowhere once before and it was for a few months when he was sixteen, its still the subject of his nightmares. He's currently stuck in nowhere again and has been for a few weeks now, he's trying to teleport out but he teleported injured and unconscious and this drained his energy. In order to get out of nowhere he needs to make contact with someone who isn't stuck. Last time it was a Telepath that connected to him that did it. Every time he tries to teleport out of nowhere those not trapped might see a flash of light, a puff of smoke or his actual figure just a little fuzzier.

all we do is think about the feelings that we hide Outfit
Most people had some serious issues with the new dorm room rules and their new roommates, Gideon wasn't one of them. While he was perfectly fine to have the room to himself he was equally fine sharing with another person. Gideon was chameleon, he would blend in with whatever circumstances and people he was thrown in with. Gideon hadn't actually spoke to his roommate yet, he had seen the guy but Gideon had places to be and very often was gone before the guy even woke up.
Today Gideon wasn't going anywhere, last night he'd annoyed some big guy while out in Calloway and ended up with a fist connecting with his nose. He knew pickpocketing the guy wasn't his wisest move but he was in need of money to track down a specific person and that was his best shot. He came away with a bleeding nose and all the guys cash so it wasn't all bad. He was however exhausted that morning from his night expeditions and he'd barely moved from his spot on the bed. He'd got up a little earlier to shower, make his bed and get dressed. Once he'd done all these things he flopped back down onto his bed, the hit he took had left his nose bruised and he still had a headache from his head connecting with a wall the previous night. Gideon lay flat on his back with a pillow over his face, although he appeared to be sleeping, his mind was in overdrive thinking of ways to track down his friend without teleporting. He didn't hear the person coming into the room.
Notes: Thought i'd start something for them [/quote]

LUCK MANIPULATION |
Luck Manipulation sounds like it is all fun and games. For a bit of it, it sure can be. Gage has to power to manipulation, create, and control luck. But there are a few things to remember about luck in general is that just because someone is granted luck, it does not mean that everything will go right for them forever. First of all, Gage's power does have a time limit. The luck he gives someone really only last for the next twenty hours or so. The second thing you really ought to remember, is that not all luck is necessarily good. Gage does have the ability to bestow bad luck, and while most of the time he has a good handle on which kind of luck he is throwing around, he can sometimes lose touch with it. Finally, being granted luck, whether it is good or bad, never makes anything 100% certain.
Too expand a little on that, things can become near certain depending on what they are. For instance, a flip of a coin, which has a 50% chance of landing on heads, may now have an 80% chance of lands on heads. But something like the lottery, which you may have a 1% chance of winning, may suddenly have a 30% chance. Nothing is guaranteed ever. The same goes for bad luck. If he grants someone bad luck, they hay have a heighten chance of stepping on gum or something.
Gage CAN use the power on himself, which is his favorite part.

[attr="class","scrollyyy"]A wide yawn escaped Gage's mouth as he stumbled up the stairs of Aldrich Hall. He had spent the night with a brunette in town and, like a true professional, had convinced her to give him a ride back to his dorm with little to no effort. He fumbled with his keys in the hallway for longer than he would ever admit, squinting through the handover induced headache at the shiny little silver things as they jingled and disrupted the otherwise silent corridor. Down the hall, Raelynn stepped out of her room and turned to lock the door, glancing at him and offering him an awkward smile and wave. She didn't bother taking her headphones out of her ears to have a conversation and honestly he didn't have the energy to deal with flirty right now. He grinned at her as he finally found the key and turned the lock, pushing the door open. After almost a week and feeling like he basically lived alone, it surprised Gage to see someone laying on the other bed in his room. Her frowned and shook his head as if to check if maybe the hangover was causing him to hallucinate or something. It wasn't, of course, and he frowned for a moment, wishing the curtains did a better job of blacking out the relentless sunlight. Assuming the stranger as asleep, Gage tried to shuffle across the room silently, and he was almost successful, if not for the office chair. He turned to glance over his shoulder at the dude in the bed next to his and didn't realize until he was already falling forward that maybe he should have made sure to hit himself with a dose of luck that morning. Instead, he crashed to the floor and groaned loudly, rubbing his head more from the hangover than the fall. Yay! This should be fun! For a very long time, Gideon was always aware of his surroundings always living on edge and he was used to sleeping with one eye open. Ready to move whenever the need arose, after all he was a criminal he'd just not been caught. Gideon hadn't heard Gage until the guy fell over a chair, which made a racket. Gideon was startled and sat bolt upright when he heard the noise, once he was sure there wasn't anyone trying to harm him and he'd managed to slow down his hammering heart. Gideon looked over to where the noise had originated from. It was clear that his roommate lying on the floor wasn't a threat in the slightest, it was apparent the biggest threat was the chair that his roommate had tripped over. With how on edge Gideon was it was lucky that the staff at Ashford removed any sort of weaponry from the man otherwise Gage might've been hurt.
"Dammit! You really shouldn't startle people that." Gideon said as he studied the guy on the floor. He was definitely not a threat, for a start he seemed pretty drunk or maybe hungover. Who tripped over a chair that was directly in their path. "Are you okay?" Gideon's tone suggested that he didn't really care but he was a little concerned for the guy considering he was rubbing his head. Gideon went to scrub a hand down his face and regretted it when the contact on his nose sent a stinging pain through his head again.

[attr="class","wootish"] [attr="class","scrollyy"]Gage frowned at his new roommate and nodded, " Yeah, bro, I'm good." He stood up and grabbed the office chair, quickly setting it back up on the wheels before throwing his wallet, phone, and keys on to his desk. It was awkward for a moment as he tried to decide if it was weird to start a conversation with the stranger, " I'm Gage, by the way." HERE WE GO! Gideon nodded when the guy said he was okay and flopped back down on his bed. His nose was still throbbing as was his head. If his roommate thought it was awkward, Gideon didn't comment. Actually he barely noticed since he always happened to make things awkward he'd started to become used to it. "Gideon." he responded to his roommate introducing himself.

He didn't really know what to say. It didn't seem like Gideon was interested in getting to know Gage at all, and the rumors that Gemini had told him about the quiet, weird guy didn't make Gage feel very interested in changing that opinion. He frowned and sat in the computer chair he had just picked up off the floor. He kicked out of his shoes and leaned back in his chair. It squeaked loudly, making his wince and look over at his new roommate, "Sorry. Piece of crap..." He mumbled.
