LUCK MANIPULATION |
Luck Manipulation sounds like it is all fun and games. For a bit of it, it sure can be. Gage has to power to manipulation, create, and control luck. But there are a few things to remember about luck in general is that just because someone is granted luck, it does not mean that everything will go right for them forever. First of all, Gage's power does have a time limit. The luck he gives someone really only last for the next twenty hours or so. The second thing you really ought to remember, is that not all luck is necessarily good. Gage does have the ability to bestow bad luck, and while most of the time he has a good handle on which kind of luck he is throwing around, he can sometimes lose touch with it. Finally, being granted luck, whether it is good or bad, never makes anything 100% certain.
Too expand a little on that, things can become near certain depending on what they are. For instance, a flip of a coin, which has a 50% chance of landing on heads, may now have an 80% chance of lands on heads. But something like the lottery, which you may have a 1% chance of winning, may suddenly have a 30% chance. Nothing is guaranteed ever. The same goes for bad luck. If he grants someone bad luck, they hay have a heighten chance of stepping on gum or something.
Gage CAN use the power on himself, which is his favorite part.

i know what you did last summer don't lie to me there's no other Gage threw his phone down on his bed after send that last text message. He glanced at a clock, ticking obnoxiously on the wall, and almost dared himself to get ready in under ten minutes. He opened the top drawer of his dresser and didn't have to dig very far to find his American flag bathing suit. He kicked off his swat pants and threw on his swimming trunks before taking a final look in the mirror. He messed with his hair with one hand and grabbed his aviator shades off the desk with the other, hooking them on his white v-neck t-shirt. Looking up at the clock, Gage grinned, fist pumping to himself to see it had only been about eight minutes. He grabbed his phone and stepped out of the room.
Room 204 was not too far down the hall. He stopped in front of her room and knocked loudly on the door, fighting his habit of knocking and immediately opening the door. In the military, most people didn't even bother to close their door all the way because of everyone's habit of just barging in. He wait patiently in the hall, or as patiently as he could. i know what you did last summer look in my eyes, my lover [googlefont="Bitter"][googlefont="Permanent Marker"]

The ability to control water allows Becca to move water from place to place. She has a small range and doesn't pack much of a punch, as she can only get the water about five feet away from her body before it starts to slip away. She cannot generate her own water, but her recall is pretty fast, to the point that she can "make it rain" whenever she's feeling down or lonely by dropping small bits of water over her head repeatedly.
Most of the time she just uses it for fun because it's relaxing, but in an emergency she's been known to put water around someone's face and hold it there as a threat of drowning. she'd never go that far, but it definitely is a good bluff.
Using her power can be exhausting, especially if she tries to move too much. Becca's comfort zone is about two gallons of water, though she's picked up a considerable amount more than that before. Don't expect her to make waves or anything because it would probably kill her.

Ten minutes was definitely not enough time to get ready, especially for someone like Becca. Thankfully she had figured Gage would either give in and come down there or she'd end up at least at the pool anyways, so she'd started getting ready during their conversation. Her hair was hanging down her back in a loose, messy braid that took much more effort to put together than it probably looked and she'd just finished tying off the white sarong at her waist when she heard the knock. Perfect, he was early and she was ready. Throwing the large beach bag over her shoulder, Becca topped her outfit off with a matching pair of sunglasses and flipped off the light. Her first instinct was to pause at the door and make him wait, but excitement got the best of her. It took everything she had to not throw it open like a crazy person. Man, she needed to get out more. Hey! She greeted, tucking a stray piece of hair behind her ear while she closed the door behind her with her other hand. outfit

[attr="class","scrollyyy"]Gage raised his eye brows as the door opened at a completely normal rate. H grinned and didn't hide the fact that he was looking her up and down. He did his best to remember the girl from years ago but her face didn't come to mind and no all he saw was a curly-headed, blue version of the straight haired Raelynn he had met in the hallway before. Grinning, Gage nodded slowly, " Well hello there." He said in a flirty voice, "Why is it that you look so much hotter now than you ever did back with Coop?" He asked, not worried about being straight forward with Becca, since she knew how he was anyway. Yay! This should be fun!
