Odynokinesis is the ability to control pain. Monty can create, absorb and control the pain of others. He can take others pain away but essentially he absorbs it himself to he feels the pain but almost double what they feel. He can also increase others pain as well as decreasing it again. He can't manipulate mental or emotional pain but can remove it. Monty suffered a head injury that caused brain damage but only to the part of the brain that handles the control of powers. He can't control his pain creating and if he wasn't wearing his argumentation device everyone he comes close to would be in excruciating pain.

 Over the years Monty had always made an effort to make sure he got regular exercise, he found it to be a great way to cope with the various things that occurred in his life. Especially after his short stint in the military. Monty was a solider and he underwent rigorous physical training and he then had to keep himself in shape. As the old adage goes, old habits die hard, and Monty had continued with this routine. It kept him in good shape and it gave him an opportunity to clear his head. Somedays though he just enjoyed a steady walk, it was a good way to get some exercise and see the area around you.
His hike had taken him to the Lamar Valley, quiet a trek in some peoples opinion but Monty found it to be an easy walk. The place was empty but Monty found it to be surprisingly peaceful and calming. Calloway was moving into summer and the cooler days had turned warmer, which brought people out more. Not many people came out here though. Monty watched as the grass was blown by the gentle breeze, he'd been planning to start making the trip back to Calloway at some point since he had to start work later that afternoon. He slowly started making his way back, he didn't want to be late for work. He liked his job, he enjoyed it. As for his boss he liked her too but in many more ways than he did his job.

Gem has super human agility this allows him to have quicker than normal reactions to things. In battle it can aid him in reacting quickly to attack. He can also launch attacks quicker. His agility abilities have saved many plates and other items from falling on the floor and breaking. He can also use it to catch pretty girls from falling which is one of his favorite benefits.
Unfortunately it's more of a defensive power and so it's not as useful if he needs to do an offensive attack. Due to the fast speeds he can move at it can leave him open to making mistakes.

The sunny morning had drawn Gemini out of his dorm with a deadpool backpack full of water, a flask of Jameson and black coffee, and package of beef jerky. He didn't bother texting anyone before heading out for a hike in Lamar Valley. It was one of the far and few times Gemini felt like being on his own. His mother would have told him it had something to do with one Mars entering into Sagittarius,or Leo being in the 7th house, or how it's important to get back in touch with nature, though Gemini was pretty sure it was just because he needed to put a distance between him and the town. Between the stress it had taken to graduate, everything with Dani over the past few months both good and bad and now Raelynn being his neighbor he was feeling drained. After a quite a long trek through the valley, Gemini found a as good as any spot as any to sink down into the grass. He tossed his backpack down in the grass next to him, digging out the flask and taking a long drink of it. It might have been too early in the day to start drinking though he reassured himself that there was coffee involved, therefore it was totally appropriate. A soft breeze blew by, ruffling the long grass, taking a deep breath it was the first time Gemini had felt truly in quite awhile. He'd been so lost in his own thoughts that he'd barely noticed the other guy a little ways away from him. As Monty walked he somewhat wished he'd brought his camera along, the Lamar Valley was a great source for stock photography. He just hadn't been here in quiet a while so he'd forgotten just how much he used to like snapping photos of the place. Monty didn't spot the other guy way off in the distance with a back pack. He was too busy in his own head. He did see him once he'd come a little closer though, he noticed the nod and responded with his usual friendly smile and a wave in the direction of the other individual. Monty was headed the other guys ways anyway. "It's a nice day." Monty said with a smile now that he was close enough to the other guy.
He didn't seem much younger than himself and he wondered why the guy was out here alone, but then again so was he. Monty hadn't seen the guy before and he'd been in Calloway for quiet a while. Then again new faces always appeared and then some dissappeared just as quickly. Monty had been here to long to be a tourist but he loved it Calloway and never had the desire to leave.

Gemini watched as the guy grew closer with a general curiosity. The guy didn't seem much older than he was but then again, his father was old enough to be his great grandfather and looked like he was old enough to be his brother. He looked up at the clear blue sky when the guy commented on the weather. Yeah, It's ight' The breeze is nice. He responded, swirling the flask in his hand before taking another drink. It's unusual to see a someone all the way out here he commented casually.

Why he decide that the weather was a good opening subject, Monty didn't know but very often it had led to some interesting conversations. Monty was good with people, he had become better at his people skills since working at the bar. His customers love him and he usually ended up having several conversations with the odd few customers. "I could say the same." Monty said about not seeing people out here often, "Its a good place to come for hike." He added as he glanced along the horizon. "I'm Monty by the way."

Gemini nodded as he twisted the lid back on the flask sitting it down in front of him. Yeah, it's a pretty decent hike, not much to look at, except plains and rock. I'd prefer one through Mt. Rainer... He gave a shrug But Eh I take what I can get. Being the only one sitting made Gemini feel awkward and he climbed to his feet and reached out his hand Yo' Monty, I'm Gem. What's up dude? he said with an easy smile. He was starting to regret not eating breakfast that morning as it seemed the whiskey in his coffee was starting to work it's magic already. Monty responded with a smile, in Monty's opinion it was definitely worth the wait to see the setting sun throw the sky into a vast array of colors. "Pleasure to meet you Gem." Monty looked out over the horizon, he didn't notice that Gem had been drinking he just seemed like a friendly guy.
