 Monty didn't think about the affects of living forever if your loved ones and those around you didn't. What happened then? He felt bad for bringing it up and actually Willa had an excellent point, everyone younger than her at this moment would die before she did. "I guess your right, I mean it must be hard outliving everyone. I don't think I could do that." Monty listened as the woman seemed to reminisce about her son, getting a hip replacement no less. Up until that moment Monty didn't realise how hard it must be be for the woman, anyone she knew growing up would've been long dead and well anyone she got to know now would go the same way. "I'm sorry, sometimes our powers are more of a curse than anything." Monty said with a gentle smile of encouragement. Monty was glad when the subject changed, while he didn't necessarily enjoy talking about himself it seemed to distract Willa. "Uhm yes, I was an infantry soldier, part of the first division." Monty said.

If she were to encounter a power negation SPB, there would be no drastic change. After she chooses her age, she begins to age at a regular rate until she uses her power again.

After they were sent home from the battlefield, they met regularly at a club in the City, where they eventually fell for each other. She stood up on the tip toes and wrapped her free arm around his neck to pull herself closer to him. Monty had been watching the place empty out, it was shame the place shut as early as it did but the Oasis just wasn't that popular. The now empty bar and eerie silence was a little unnerving. Monty looked at the clock, "We can shut as late as 2am, but its always empty by midnight. " Monty noted. People didn't see the interest of the old run down place anymore, Artie hadn't made much effort to keep the place looking good either. So it had become less and less popular.
Monty knew that the limited music selection was a huge turn off for a younger crowd that could possibly come to the Oasis. He'd gotten used to the Music and found himself dancing to it as he went about his various work related duties but most people his age preferred other music. Monty watched as the woman started spinning and singing, he was mesmerized by her. The way she sang as if the words could perhaps hold a deeper meaning for the young woman. He moved out from behind the bar, continuing to watch the woman. She looked young and vibrant, despite the fact that she had 113 years of life, she still seemed happy. Monty knew when she walked through the door that she was not like every other twenty something year old. She was most definitely unique. Monty walked close to her, taking her hand while she span and let her spin under his arm.

In one fluid, graceful motion she was up on her tip toes and planting a kiss on his lips. Willa had to hook her arms around his neck and lift herself clear off the floor to reach, as he was much taller than she was. Her eye;s flickered closed as she pulled him closer and continued to kiss him as the song played on...

Monty was surprised by the kiss, he didn't show it but he'd not expected that. It didn't mean he didn't enjoy it though. He pulled her small frame just a little closer as the music from the jukebox played a rather fitting soundtrack. He was a little disappointed when she pulled away, he could've held her like that for a lot longer. He smiled down at the woman, the bar once again had fallen into silence. Words failed him for a moment. "Willa..." Monty didn't know what to say, the woman was definitely beautiful and he was most certainly falling for her but she was his boss, the owner of this place. He wasn't sure but wasn't there something ethnically wrong with dating your boss? Monty didn't know so he didn't say anything he simply smiled down at the woman again.

She was breathing heavily and could almost hear her mother scolding her for acting so un-lady like. But Willa didn’t care. She bit her lip and considered kissing him again. It was so enticing a thought. He was so incredibly good looking and reminded her so much of Fred Astaire with his hair and his clothing. She had almost decided to pull away when she thought that she was living in the 21st century now, where people didn’t mind a girl taking the lead every once in a while. Monty wasn't used to the 21st century girl and he lived in the 21st century. He didn't mind it though, Willa was somewhat different from all the other girls that Monty had met in his life. For a start she wasn't a girl, she was a mature woman. It was a little bit intimidating if he was being honest, he thought he had some experience in life but Willa, she had far more than even his own grandparents had. Monty caught the woman as she jumped his arms were once again around her. Monty smiled before kissing her again, he was definitely falling for Willa and more than likely he'd fall for her hard.

Willa smiles into the kiss and breathed in heavily, pulling away. Her moment of adventurous behavior faded to a close and suddenly Willa felt ashamed of forcing herself on to Monty that way. She stepped back and smiled shyly, looking up at him, "Sorry..." She sighed, smoothing her hands over the surface of her jeans the way she would have smoothed out a skirt had she been wearing one. Willa knew she should take a rain check on learning how to close down the bar, "I should go. I have to start planning my revamp of the place..." Willa looked up at Monty again like she just had an idea, I was going to go shop for new furniture in Cody tomorrow. Maybe you should come? You know the bar better that I do..."

Monty would've told her not to apologize, he didn't mind being kissed by her. He had kissed her earlier in the night, but he didn't say anything he just smiled back. He wondered what ran through the woman's mind, they were from somewhat different worlds despite living on the same planet. Monty was happy to let her go but really didn't want her too. However this woman just took on a run down bar and wanted to revamp it, she was going to be busy. He was about to turn and open the door for her when she looked up at him and suggested he comes with to buy furniture. "Yeah I'd like that." Monty said. He slapped himself mentally for not being more subtle about the fact that he really wanted to go with her. "So we meet here tomorrow? " Monty questioned.

Willa stepped out the door as he opened it and turned polite so she was facing him when he spoke to her, "If we meet here about ten, we could probably have lunch in town." She said with a sweet smile, nodding slowly just like her mother had taught her when she was a child. Always be proper and respectful of others, no matter their circumstances, "See you then?" She asked, wanting to make sure we actually wanted to go.
