Months had passed since her beloved son's death, but for some reason Tris was having trouble parting with the cinema he'd left to her. Granted, there wasn't anyone else left to leave it to, but that was besides her current point. Even with Jasper back in town, most of her days were spent taking stock of the place and trying to prevent students from smuggling in alcohol to that movie they shouldn't be seeing anyways. If they didn't watch it, she'd show black and white cartoons for a month straight to prove a point. It wasn't like they had much else to do anyways.
To tonight however, it was unseasonably slow. I'm a few weeks everything would grind to a halt because of graduation and summer vacation, that much she knew. There were still the university students there for summer jobs or classes, the high school students who never left, and the regulars who preferred their safe haven over the outside world and its unknowns. That was where she should be, but instead she was looking over the selection of new movies in the nearly empty theater and trying to decide between a huge tub of popcorn or a legitimate meal for dinner while her young employees stood guard over everything by placing the table they were playing cards at between the does and the counter so they could see them both. Oh well, as long as nothing got stolen she could care less.

What are my strengths regarding my powers? I'm ninety five with the body of a man in my 20's, What do you think it is? I guess I've been able to gain a lot of knowledge about the world. Travel from place to place, meet a lot of pretty dames. Other than that's its pretty worthless, I can still get cancer, I can still get the flu, if someone wants to cement my feet and toss me into the bay, well I guess I'd be swimmin' with the fishes. You know what the real downer is? If I manage to avoid all those things, I'll probably end up having to bury my wife and son. Everyone I know dies before I do.

Jasper stood outside the Orion finishing off the last bit of his cigarette. He had finished up his work for the evening and Gemini had declined an invite for dinner; for someone who'd never thought they wanted to be a father he terribly missed when his was son was younger and attached to his hip. He'd decided that he couldn't sit around his apartment any longer and had gone down to the Orion to see what was playing, he really should try and stay more up to date with what was popular, thought he didn't enjoy it most of the time. Despite how much the special effects in movies had progressed immensely he missed the old films with the greats, Doris Day, Cary Grant, Dick Van Dyke, Judy Garland and of course nothing really compared to a Charlie Chaplin comedy.
Jasper tossed the cigarette to the ground and smooshed it out with the toe of his shiny black dress shoe. He pulled the door open to the cinema, pulling the gray fedora off his head as he entered. He stopped in his tracks when he saw Tristan standing there looking beautiful as usual. Every time he saw her his heart would start beating in his chest like a bass drum, and for that exact reason he'd tried to limit their time together over the last few months. A small smile tugged at the corner of his mouth Good Evening Ma'am.

She'd just decided on the popcorn and a large soda whenever she heard a familiar voice sound behind her. Good evening Jasper. Her greeting was formal but warm, even though she probably shouldn't have been that way. They'd spent little to no time together since their reunion at the park, supposedly because his wife and son. What brings you to my humble establishment tonight? Is it the transformers? Because that one is definitely "old" according to the staff. It's only been out for two years maybe? These children have odd definitions of old. She mused, crossing the counter to grab her own stuff. Who else would know how much butter to really put on the popcorn?

Jasper smiled softly at Tris's greeting and shook his head It seems that even with years of practice, I'm still not cool enough for my teenaged son. As far as the transformers, well I'm not really a fan though Gemini assures me they really are more than meets the eye. Not moving from his spot he chuckled softly right? I'm pretty sure I saw the very first Mickey Mouse cartoon in theaters..

Willa's power of age manipulation is very broad, while being very specific at the same time. First, she can control her age at will. Whatever age she fancies to be, Willa can simply look at herself in the mirror and make herself that age. There are limitations tot he power that are worth mentioning. The first, it that she must be looking at herself in the mirror. She also can not make herself younger than the age where she originally obtained the power. In that case, it means she will never be younger than thirteen. She can use her power on herself whenever she wants but the more years she ages herself back, the more of a headache she will get. She has never tried to age herself back more than fifteen years at a time and is unsure of what may happen.
Although she doesn't know this, Willa can manipulate the ages of the people around her as well. She has never been formally trained in this ability and may never be trained in it, but that does not change the fact that the potential is there. Willa must be touching the person, skin to skin, and she must be looking in to their eyes. The limitations of Willa's ability as they pertain to other people are much more vast. For instance, she can not age someone younger than fifteen or older than thirty-five. She can only really do this for someone once every ten years or so and it can only be used once each time. his ability CAN keep someone else alive just like she keeps herself alive, but like I said it can only be used once every eight to ten years.
If she were to encounter a power negation SPB, there would be no drastic change. After she chooses her age, she begins to age at a regular rate until she uses her power again.

The town was huge compared to the non-exitant peice of garbage she remember from a century ago, but it didn't measure up to New York City or LA. Hoping to find a little piece of her favorite parts of the world, she thought that surely a small ton couldn't ruin the movies. Stepping up to the counter to purchase a ticket, Willa leaned close and squinted. Transformers? Was that seriously their newest film? Sighing, " You people know that new movies come out every week right? I mean you can having something newer than an old Shia flick, ya know?" She said, sliding her card across to the attendant who looked all too keen on agreeing with her. She ducked into the theater and jumping in line behind a tall guy who looked like we was flirting with an employee. Willa narrowed her eyes at the girl behind the counter and crossed her arms in front of her chest in thought. The girl looked so familiar, like a memory from a dream maybe? A black and white photo came to mind that she had pulled out of a letter from her dear old friend Tristan years and years ago. Maybe a relative? Squinting her eyes in thought, Willa ran her fingers through the ends of her bright red hair and continued trying to place the girl. After a moment, Willa gave up and stepped forward, tapping the man on the shoulder, " I get that your makin' your move on the young lady, but could you maybe let me get some pop?" Of course he thinks you are lame Jasper. The boy is young, not stupid. She teased as a young woman walked up to them. Normally Tris wouldn't have thought twice about a customer in her theater, other than to yell at her employees for slacking, but this one made her stop for just a second. If she didn't know better, the girl could've been a dead ringer from her long gone friend Willa, rest her soul. Samuel, get off your butt and get the lady what she wants. It isn't card night dear. She chided, though she couldn't help but grin a little bit when he jumped up and practically ran behind the counter to take the girl's order. Anyways, are you joining me for the explosions or are you looking for something a little newer? The boys didn't even bother putting the recent stuff out tonight. It isn't even worth it. They had a few new things somewhere, but she drew the line at figuring out how to work that machine. Cell phones maybe, but she'd probably blow up a projector.

He narrowed his eyes in Tristan's direction Oh you're hilarious. It's been a long time but I think you found me pretty entertaining back in the day dollHe shook his head when the young theater worker jumped up to take the girl who'd walked ins order resisting the urge to say something about kids today and lack of work ethnic. Jasper shook his head Mmm What about something older?

Willa stepped up to the counter and turned to wave off the apology of the man. The moment her eyes landed on the man she froze. Wide brown eyes looked him up and down as she tried to pull her mind out of 1939. She frowned and gave her order to the distressed young man behind the counter, every few moments turning to look at the man again. She grabbed her drink and took a sip of it as she turned. She had every intention of walking away and letting sleeping dogs lie but she just couldn't help it. There was no way. It just wasn't...Letting out a sigh, Willa placed her drink back on the counter and looked at him, " This may be an odd question," She started, worry lines appearing between her eye brows, " ...but do you happen to be related to a man named Jasper Cooper?" You know...one of the older screens still has the old set up and I might be convinced to put on some Charlie Chaplin, for the right person. She grinned. Was she really flirting with a married man? Yes, but he was hers first. Autumn was too young for him anyways. Her train of thought was interrupted by the reappearance of the other person, who addressed Jazz directly. For a normal person, that wouldn't be an issue at all. For them...it was significantly more concerning, enough that she tentatively walked around the counter and stood beside him. Up close, she couldn't deny the resemblance any longer to the picture she'd seen of her old friend. Besides that, the hair and eye color were uncannily similar. Willa? She asked quietly, almost in a whisper.

A smile tugged at the corner of Jasper's lips in a lopsided grin. Well, that'd be mighty swell ma'am. if I'm right person that is Jasper replied. He couldn't ignore the looks the other woman kept giving him, and he couldn't help but to keep looking at her, though he wasn't sure if it was because she seemed vaguely familiar or just because she was beautiful. When she addressed him directly, his blue eyes widened ever so slightly with curiosity. Why yes ma'am, I guess you could say I'm related to him, considering I am him. he said with a bit of amusement in his voice. He glanced at Tristan out of the corner of his eye when she moved around to stand next to him.
When Tristan spoke the girls name it suddenly clicked in Jasper's head as he was rocketed back to the late 30's. A bit of a darker time in his life, for sure. It now seemed so clear to him as he gazed at the woman in front of him, how could he have ever forgotten about Willa.W-Willa?he stuttered out. Jasper had been convinced he wouldn't ever see Willa again, if she'd been normal she should have been dead or as close as he was to having one foot in the grave. Realizing that he'd known Willa prior to meeting Tristan he glanced between the two red headed women. Well aint this crazy.. He mumbled.

Willa's brown eyes shifted between the couple before her. It didn't take long for her to put the pieces together. Pure instinct caused Willa to panic for a moment. Not only did she know and clearly remember both of these people, but they knew and remembered her. They knew who she was, how old she was. They knew she wasn't normal. As obvious as it was that they must have had some sort of ability as well, Willa immediately began to slowly back away from them like she was about to run, " T-Tris?" She was stiff with paranoia as she turned from the woman to face the man, " Jasper..." It was sinking in. They must be like her, at least in some way. She stopped backing away as it occurred to her that maybe she had no reason to be afraid. She blinked a few times in thought before bursting into a fit of giggles, " No way!" Willa choked out between laughs. She gripped the edge of the counter for support so she would double over and just kept laughing, " You two know each other?
