Having only been here for about six hours at this point, Addi had already made a lengthy list of things she hated about Wyoming. At the tip top of that list was the weather. It was April. And it was still cold. Okay, so it was only like 65 out. But to a southern California girl that was basically Winter. And the weird looks she got as she power walked across the lawn hugging her blue Christmas sweater close to her torso. A good looking guy in a tank top was jogging up one side walk and Addi dodged around him to reach the dorms as quickly as possible.
By the time she was back at the dorm, she had already remembered item number seven on her list of things she hated about Wyoming. All the dorm buildings were built in exactly the same way. Frowning, she realized she could remember the name of the building. Was it the first one or the last one? Maybe the second one? She had no idea. So being the hopeful person she was, Addison picked the center building and pushed through the door, heading to the second floor.
Carlisle Hall was written in large letters behind the front counter, which was not occupied at the moment. So much for asking the attendant is she was in the right place. Sighing heavily, Addi skipped every other step as she climbed to the second story and stopped outside of what would have been her room, assuming she was in the proper building. Deciding to be on the safe side, Addi reached up and knocked lightly on the door, worried she would look like a crazy person if she did end up knocking on her own door.
