Daniel's power of thermal manipulation allows him to control the temperature of nearly any physical matter to a certain degree. Xan can sense and manipulate temperatures around him. He can feel in a sense heat and coll temps from people and objects allowing him to almost see his surroundings. This is just natural and doesn't shut off. If there are too many of the same temperatures around him he can't always differentiate between the objects.
Manipulating temperatures takes focus and he can hold a temp for up to three hours as long as it doesn't exceed -20F point or 300F. Anything past that the length he can keep it up differs. He doesn't have to be in physical contact with what ever he is working with but does have to be withing three feet of it. He can heat up a 10ft radius of water as long as he is in the water. It seems that if he is in contact with water he can make the heat or cool temps travel further. If he is not concentrating it doesn't work and there is the chance of getting too hold or cold that it will burn or freeze him only when the temp is at a more extreme. Also it is stronger if he is in physical contact with the object.

The ability to summon weapons allows Danielle to take any weapon within her line of sight, barring complications such as super strength or another more powerful telumkinetic. She is limited to only two weapons at a time, though she only usually takes one unless she's going for a bow and arrows. They always land safely in her palm with no chances of impalement, even if she turns around or moves her hand. The only way for this to injure another person is if they step in to the path of an incoming weapon before it switches directions. Her definition of the word weapon can be pretty broad, as she can summon anything that she has the intent to use as a weapon or that she has seen used as a weapon before, such as a belt.

Specifically, he has a power that feeds off of people's worst fears, making them experience them at varying levels. So if you are up for something like that, we can throw them in together. if not, these two are probably out. NATHAN TROY KOTNEY and @daniel Nathan is a doctor in town and Danielle's father. If you have an idea for them, let me know. TRISTAN DELAINE ALDRICH-RAINER and @daniel Like Becca, Tristan is a calloway resident. She's lived there on and off for about...a hundred and fifteen years. Tris has also traveled the world, so there's a high chance she's spent time in Spain. It could be an interesting thread, especially if he is home sick. She could be like a grandmother type figure. MELANIE ALESSA THORN and @daniel These two actually could have met at some point before hand. Melanie is the daughter of a rich man and his socialite wife, so if he's visited the US before at all, then they could already be friends. She's also Tristan's niece, so there's that. DAMIEN ALEXANDER THORN and @daniel Alex is melanie's brother and a little bit more insane. I don't think they'd get along extremely well, but maybe not enemies. AMARYLLIS JESSICA FOWLER and @daniel Amy is my sheltered little sweetheart. She's a vitakinetic from a tiny town in Oklahoma and she loves pretty much everybody. The only problem with Amy is that she has cancer and if she goes too long without healing someone with her powers, she gets extremely sick. If he's looking for a little bit of innocence in his life, this is your girl.

Like you said, it really could go two ways, but I see them most likely being friendly at first, but later discovering that their personalities collide a bit which could cause some issues. @rebecca and DANIEL GARCIA RODRIGUEZOkay, I picture in my head Daniel at the park or something, and just catching notice of her. She is attractive, and she would probably catch his attention, even if he just wanted a closer look to say, "Hi, I'm not from America, any advice?" because you know, she's still a stranger and all. @asher and DANIEL GARCIA RODRIGUEZAsher could totally be the first instructor Daniel meets, and I see their encounter being really interesting. I can see these two getting along relatively well since Charlie tends to not be very rebellious but is good humored and easy going. Raelynn has the ability to control and manipulate fire and heat. She is completely heat resistant. She can create fire, but it is easier, right now, for her to use fire that is already created to play with, hence the lighter. Raelynn is weak against cold weather, ice, and water which puts a damper on her power. She has to have sufficient oxygen to control fire and if, for some reason, she were suffocating, her power would instantly be harder to control.
She can use a small flame and, from that, create more fire far more easily than create fire from nothing. Raelynn can use her power as much as she wants, at least she will be able to after practicing at Ashford.

octavia and daniel I think these two would be SO interesting together! I definitely want to see how they go! Maybe in a situation where Octavia can't use her power? I would like to see how she is when she isn't high as a stupid kite. And honestly she needs some detox. I have been considering that the school would want that for her two and might lock her into one of the power negating rooms in the training center as a sort of rehab, ya know?

I thought she would be the perfect person to loosen him up a bit, because he's still all stiff about being away from home, and someone needs to help break the shell.
