Hey there, I'm Val. Nineteen and a senior at Ashford Academy. My dorm room is in Aldrich Hall and I have the power of Telepathy.

TELEPORTATION

Gideon's power is that of teleportation which means he can travel instantaneously from one place to another without the occupying the space between. Gideon's power takes intense focus and lots of energy. The further the distance the more energy needed and the more concentration required. The same applies if he's teleporting objects or other people. He has a special link with a girl and he can feel where she is anywhere on the planet and teleport to her without any energy used, she's a telepath and has a telepathic link with him. However there is a major hitch, Gideon needs something from the place he's going to in order to make sure he gets there safely. He's got a good understanding of his power and can teleport on command when necessary. If he does however teleport without a 'anchor' from where he's going the chance that he gets stuck in between is increased. Being stuck between here and there is like a sort of limbo, he is conscious and alive but not really there. The space between here and there is known to him as nowhere, time doesn't even reach this dimension and so therefore if he gets stuck it can be for a few hours to a few years and he'd have no idea. He's only been stuck in nowhere once before and it was for a few months when he was sixteen, its still the subject of his nightmares. He's currently stuck in nowhere again and has been for a few weeks now, he's trying to teleport out but he teleported injured and unconscious and this drained his energy. In order to get out of nowhere he needs to make contact with someone who isn't stuck. Last time it was a Telepath that connected to him that did it. Every time he tries to teleport out of nowhere those not trapped might see a flash of light, a puff of smoke or his actual figure just a little fuzzier.

We've discusseddiscussed these two somewhat. I can see them becoming friends, Gideon probably wouldn't reach out first but he'd definitely help her with the Telepathy thing.

Fin is a very closed off person and he'd hate it if Val read his mind. He likes to keep things close to the chest.

Yess we did, I think neither of them would reach out first but maybe if they bumped into each other and Val somehow found out that he has experience with telepathy than we could go from there, but yeah I can def see them as friends once they get to know each other.

Ohh this could be really fun c: Val would probably get super defensive if Fin got mad about her reading his mind cause she can't help it. Yay conflicts are a blast, we should totally get them in a thread eventually!

Maybe she accidentally touches him and reads his mind while he's thinking about his telepathic friend and with his experience with telepath he can somehow tell she's read his mind. Yes friends for these two is definitely possible.
