Dani was fairly quiet on the way to the training center, mostly because the silence was decently comfortable. She didn't need people to talk all the time when they really didn't have anything to say. When she pushed open the doors to the training center, a wave of excitement washed over her loke nothing she had ever felt outside these walls. "My home away from home. It's the only place I genuinely get to practice because we aren't allowed to have real weapons outside of the building. Let me show you something. " Off in one of the corners was a room for telumkinetics and people with similar weapons based powers to practice with unloaded or dulled weapons. The door was heavy and made to withstand a blast from just about anything because of the telumkinetics that could create their own weapons instead of summoning them like she did. "Pretty cool, huh? Nothing really works other than the swords and knives, but those are awesome to practice with anyways. "

Nix fell in to step beside the other girl on the way to the training room, nix had yet to be there on her own due to the fact she was unstable and it was a known fact among the staff too. It would always be a good idea to have somenoe else there beside her should the worst happen, though it was fairly unlikely. The other girl pushed open the doors before them and nix felt her mind snap back to the present and she looked to the other girl as she spoke, "I think weapons on the loose in a school is never a good idea" she said with a smirk as the girl offered to show something and nix leaned back against the wall behind her. Though it was apparent they were moving and nix seemed to push off with a wave of purple behind her and her arms remaining uncrossed until she was walking again and looked in to the room, she grinned at the display before her and then nodded to the other girl. So very inttresting, though it made her ownder how many kids had similar powers

"This isn't a normal school though. There are plenty of people without control of their powers or even some that do have it and are just asses. " Holding her hand out towards a longer knife on the wall, Dani willed it towards her and smirked with satisfaction when it landed safely in her palm, the blade pointing away from her. "Besides, not only telumkinetics can make weapons. Almost any kinetic has the potential to, even the more fluid ones like water or acid. Those are trippy, don't practice with them if you can help it. " Dani wondered if her new companion could do that too with whatever she did. That would be interesting to say the least.

Well the other girl had a fair point, not a lot of other schools had a room for kids to go in and chuck weapons around even if they couldn't have them outside. Nix nodded at her words before she flicked her wrist and a tendril of purple shot out like a tencetle from her palm and wrapped around a dagger close to her on the desk before lifting it and flicking it back and forth int he air a little, it clicked aginst the wall as it caught it and nix raised her other hand and splayyed the fingers which brought the dagger up level before it shot forwards with a bubble of purple around it and poked in to the wall for a second before dropping as the shadow disappered like smoke once again

"Nice."Danielle grinned, taking note of where the dagger had landed before flipping the long knife once in her hand. It was too heavy to be an actual throwing knife and much too long. That didn't matter though, she threw it anyways. The following thud was satisfying, even if the landing wasn't perfect. She'd have to grab a better knife next time. "At least you can train here too. Most of the other people I hang with tend to stick to the main gym because their powers can't move anything. The mental ones, you know?" Training alone sucked, but competition....now that was fun.

Nix turned her head as the other girl spoke, commenting on her style and nix smirked and then nodded her head. My ability allows me, or so ive been told, to do almost anything i can think of. The issue is i need to will myself to do these things and some of them come naturally like these" she said as she waved a hand and her shadow bubble wrapped itself around a few hand guns and they lifted form the table before dropping again as nix waved her hand again. "but others are much harder for me" she said as she closed her eyes and pressed her hands against each other, a bubble appeared before her and it wobbled before growing to the size of a tennis ball and then wobbling again. Nix felt like she was pushing against a wall as she tried to push the bubble to expand itself before it contracted to a small dot and then disappeared in to smoke and nix felt a blast hit her chest and knock her backwards. "Stupid force field" she growled, trying to sit up as she felt a pain in her nose and lifted her finger to find a small trail of blood running out of it. Clearly she had focused too hard there, not the best idea.

Dani nodded slowly, but was thrown back by the force field as well. It was more uncomfortable than painful and she bounced back quick enough to catch the other girl's nose bleeding. Without a second thought, she walked across the room to offer her a hand. Whatever that was seemed to have taken a toll on her, that was for sure. "A little more work and that'll be a good trick, but you might want to take it a little more easy for a while. What other crazy things do they have you trying to do?" sometimes the staff just didn't get that because you could do something didn't mean you should. It was dangerous for them, more so than usual.

Nix sat up slowly, her hand against her nose and her free hand pushing herself up before she noted the other girl coming over and raised an eyebrow. Nix must have blasted her as well and yet she still came over to help? That was new, but nix took the offered hand raised to her feet. "Some stuff is so easy, ropes and bubbles and a simple shield and landing bubbles and slicing blades. I've been able to do them for ages and so i know them, so they asked me to do something knew like wrap a force field around someone and then we found that im not so good at it. That the one goal at the moment, until i get that right im not moving on to new ideas and as you can see, its gonna be a while" she said as she took her hand away from her nose, the blood was slowing now. She knew these things went meant to make her think and see knew things and she liked that, but she was sure this idea was a dead end. She could throw out shields easily and hide behind them, why wrap someone in something that could contract and kill them?

Dani shuddered at the idea of being inside one of those things when they exploded, but part of her realized how cool it would be if Nix could figure it out. "Either you'll figure the force fields out or they'll turn out to be a bust. it happens some times. It's like a cosmic rule that our powers can't do absolutely everything we want them to." Holding her hand out towards the still discarded dagger, Dani tried to push it away and only succeeded in flipping it over slightly. Her powers pulled, they didn't push. It was probably for the best though. If they were all freakishly over powered, no one would ever be safe anywhere.

Nix smirked as she watched the girl shudder, part of her thinking back to the apple she had been told to try that on and how she had made apple mush of it and how a human would re-act but then she scolded herself mentally. these dark thoughts often hit her, much darker than she cared to admit as well. "Well i aint like we can do whatever we want" she said with a nod of her head, her eyes watching the other girl try to move the dagger away from her. Nodding, Dani focused on the dagger and the knife at the same time and called them back. "So, what other power quirks do you have? Obviously you're still experimenting." They all were, really. Trainer Kale was convinced that some day she would be able to do things like stop bullets or pluck them out of the air, but so far all they had done was shoot that stupid vest. "Like for me, I can control just about anything that has been used against me as a weapon with the intent to harm. Pencils, belts, hair ties...some of it gets pretty interesting. I tried to get someone to hit me with a backpack once, but they wouldn't do it." Hey, if you had an interesting loophole, you should use it, right?

Nix nodded as the other girl offered options and nix leaned her head to one side as her hands curled in to fists before her shirt gave a soft noise that sounded close to ripping before a long forked tail in her same purple black appeared from the under her clothes and flicked out behind her. She chuckle as this, the tail wagging to one side slightly before she lifted a hand and the knife from before lifted itself in another bubble of purple and then she moved it to place the blade in her tails grip

Not that Dani wanted something like that all the time. It made it hard to live even a semi normal life if you had a physical change in your body, like scales or tails. Nope, leave her with her power any day. "So that just shows up when you want it to? It isn't permanent or anything?"

"I create it, and then it exists and does as it wants without much thought or control. It disappears when i run out of my shadows, normally when i go to sleep but in a fight or when i use my powers for something else it can disappear. I used to make it when i was a kid but being here, it disappears when i focus on using my powers on try and make something else" she said as the tail wagged out behind her, she didnt know how best to explain it out behind her. She made it, it disappeared when it seemed it need to and all she needed to do was bring it back when she wanted. It was odd, weird even, but it was part of her

Dani nodded and looked around the empty room for a minute to ensure someone wasn't hiding around there. "So, wanna get some practice in before we go? It doesn't have to be anything heavy duty, but sparring is good for the soul." It generally made her feel significantly better. If she went more than a day or two without coming to the training center, she pretty much lost it from too much energy and nothing else to do.
