TELEPORTATION |
Gideon's power is that of teleportation which means he can travel instantaneously from one place to another without the occupying the space between. Gideon's power takes intense focus and lots of energy. The further the distance the more energy needed and the more concentration required. The same applies if he's teleporting objects or other people. He has a special link with a girl and he can feel where she is anywhere on the planet and teleport to her without any energy used, she's a telepath and has a telepathic link with him. However there is a major hitch, Gideon needs something from the place he's going to in order to make sure he gets there safely. He's got a good understanding of his power and can teleport on command when necessary. If he does however teleport without a 'anchor' from where he's going the chance that he gets stuck in between is increased. Being stuck between here and there is like a sort of limbo, he is conscious and alive but not really there. The space between here and there is known to him as nowhere, time doesn't even reach this dimension and so therefore if he gets stuck it can be for a few hours to a few years and he'd have no idea. He's only been stuck in nowhere once before and it was for a few months when he was sixteen, its still the subject of his nightmares. He's currently stuck in nowhere again and has been for a few weeks now, he's trying to teleport out but he teleported injured and unconscious and this drained his energy. In order to get out of nowhere he needs to make contact with someone who isn't stuck. Last time it was a Telepath that connected to him that did it. Every time he tries to teleport out of nowhere those not trapped might see a flash of light, a puff of smoke or his actual figure just a little fuzzier.

GIDEON R EDWARDS STUDENT. 19 . TELEPORTER . CURRENTLY STUCK. Gideon here is a teleporter with some serious attitude. He doesn't know his birth parents and was adopted by the leader of criminal gang that trained SPB's. Gideon's street wise and can blend in almost anywhere, he's a cameleon that's always changing his colors. His power means he can instantaneously transport from one place to the next, but he needs something to ground him to his destination otherwise he risks getting stuck between here and there. He's been stuck once before and was only able to teleport our after a Telepath communicated with him and helped him concentrate on her. This allowed him to teleport out of nowhere.
He's currently stuck again, after teleporting while injured.
FRIENDS
Gideon is a friendly guy, sometimes it's because he's genuinely friendly and other times its because he needs to befriend someone to use them. His smooth talking has a way of luring people in. He's a caring guy and although he doesn't allow himself to get emotionally attached to anyone he's a friend that will be there if needed. He doesn't form deep friendships but is talkative and will have many 'friends'. He's always been told that emotions are weakness and therefore all his emotions are internalized and its really hard to get to know Gideon.
ENEMIES
Gideon is very often grumpy, this means that very few people will even come close to him. He's manipulative, crafty and definitely not trustworthy. He could be chatting you up while simultaneously stealing your purse. It's not hard for Gideon to have enemies, he is after all a criminal. He views very little of himself and he hides this with a smokescreen of sarcasm and snark.
LOVERS
For Gideon, Girls have always been used, he used them to get information or to distract them. He knew it was wrong but that's how it's always been. He's not the fluffy emotional type either and he finds it very difficult to express love. He isn't a one girl type of man either finding attachment difficult, but who knows.
He needs everything so plot him up!

Hey, so I'm not entirely sure if Issie would be all that useful to Gideon in his current situation, but once he gets himself unstuck the two of them could meet. I honestly doubt the two will get along. I could be wrong, but Issie has a deep dislike of manipulative people, and she's not too fond of guys who are always trying to smooth-talk. On the other hand, if he manages to blend in well and is able to put up with her attitude, then the two of them could potentially have something of a friendship, at least for a while.

@issieevans and GIDEON RHYS EDWARDSYes, Gidoen is very manipulative and if she doesn't like it then they could be enemies. However he is good and blending in and very good at hiding the fact he is manipulative. Maybe they have a love, hate relationship of sorts. |

A love-hate relationship is very possible. Issie tries to give everyone a chance at first, so perhaps they wind up meeting and Gideon gets on her good side to begin with, then the inevitable hijinks ensue later on.
