His agility abilities have saved many plates and other items from falling on the floor and breaking. He can also use it to catch pretty girls from falling which is one of his favorite benefits.
Unfortunately it's more of a defensive power and so it's not as useful if he needs to do an offensive attack. Due to the fast speeds he can move at it can leave him open to making mistakes.

Making true on his promise to Raven from months ago, Gemini stood leaning against the outside wall of Calloway's local coffee and tea shop. The air was cold, though the sun was out and shining, Overall it was a beautiful winter morning. The roasty smell of coffee hung in the air and mixed well with the fresh crispness of the winter breeze that blew through town just barely rustling the trees. Inhaling deeply Gemini sighed happily, unlike most of the people in Calloway he welcomed the winter months and the didn't mind the cold a bit. For a split second when his mind wasn't running a billion miles per hour he felt at peace.
He checked his watch, he was still early, not that he minded waiting. It gave him ample time to people watch, more accurately girl watch.

I'm Lost In Paradise It had been a couple days since she had gone to get the tattoo done. She made sure to send Dani a picture the moment it was finished and now was very excited to finally be getting tea. Well more so with getting tea with her old roommate's not boyfriend. She didn't mind Gem in the least bit and he was the best friend to more than one of her own friends. It was an interestingly knit group of people. She was always excited to go get tea though, it was her favorite drink. She didn't mind the cold air as she walked down the path towards the shop. She did like the winter. It was the perfect season to cuddle up in front of the fireplace with a hot drink and a good book, or a friend. She noticed Gem waiting outside the cafe. "Hi there, long time no see" She teased when she walked up to the guy. She realized that a lot had changed since she last hung out with Gem, and most of it was a good change. Gem had been watching a couple girls down the sidewalk, so when Raven spoke it startled him ever so slightly. He spun around with the unnatural grace that his power allowed Raven! He exclaimed, pulling his sunglasses off of his face as his eyes lit up in a way that made it seem like seeing Raven was indeed the highlight of his day. Gemini had a tendency to be over dramatic and animated that people either found obnoxious or endearing because it made you feel like you were the most people person to him in that moment. He leaned down to give her a tight but friendly hug. Taking a step back he looked her up and down Seriously, It's been forever. I see You've only gotten prettier though. a said as a playful smile spread across his lips.
The shop was little but quaint.There was a small patio with a few chairs and tables that looked out on Calloway's more attractive parts or more plush living room like furniture positioned around a brick fireplace on the inside. Either way they wouldn't escape the cliche coffee house, John Mayer esque music that was playing in the background over speakers, not that Gem really minded. You couldn't be the son of a music professor and not appreciate all kinds of music. Gem pointed to the patio Do you want to sit inside or outside? He was enjoying the cool morning, and the outside hustle and bustle but didn't want to subject his friend to a "date" in the cold.

I'm Lost In Paradise Raven rolled her eyes at Gem's antics. She still smiled, this was typical gem thing to do. At least he hadn't really changed much. That was one person. She could have sworn that everyone around had changed. Or maybe it was the other way around. Maybe she finally had changed. She wasn't as frightened or timid as she used to be and wasn't constantly dealing with her anxiety issues. She didn't have to fake her smile all the time now. Sure her New York trip wasn't a good experience but it was a valuable one. It worked well enough to convince her to go see her family for the holiday. Sure it was for events but she was kind of looking forward to it. Sure she was still her usual kind, quiet self but she had confidence now.
"Flattery won't get you very far here. But thank you" She teased at his comment. Raven looked at the shop and how busy it was inside. "Outside is fine. I'm not too worried about the cold" She stated, not really wanting to deal with the people inside. "Besides hot drinks will warm your right up" She added in a very perky tone.

He exclaimed when She said she wasn't worried about the cold Everyone else around this town is whining.. 'Oh it's so cold bleh bleh bleh. Wimps. He shook his head, even Ryan had complained though his was more related to his natural distaste for cold than actually due to him being cold. Gemini reached for the door handle to the shop, pulling it open and stepping aside for Raven to walk through. He figured they could get their drinks at the counter before taking a seat outside. So I'm entrusting you with my tea choice so it better be tea-riffic. A goofy smile playing on his lips as he gave her a wink over his stupid play on words.

I'm Lost In Paradise She laughed at the comment about everyone complaining about the cold. She had noticed that there was a good number of students who did not like the cold weather. That or they were not used to the snow and frozen air. After spending a good number of winters in New York or even London, snow was a thing. "I have no idea why they complain, winters are always so pretty" She was half teasing. Raven nodded her head in thanks when he opened the door. She waited in line but it didn't take long for it to be their turn. She ordered Gem a Rooibos Chai Tea and Hibiscus Ginger Tea for herself. She figured the best tea for Gem would be a Chai since, well to her, it was the closest to coffee. And with Rooibos being a nice red tea she figured he might like the stronger flavor. She stood off to the side to wait for the tea after paying the lady at the counter. "I think you will like this kind. It is a nice twist on a classic winter tea" She said with a smile.

Gemini followed Raven to the side scowling at her for paying. I don't get to be a gentleman very often in every day life and you just ruined it. He knew it was old fashioned, but his father was 95 and he had been taught despite on what conditions you're out, women don't pay for anything. Awesome, Sounds good. He reached for their teas when they were called up. He held on to both as he made his way back out the door to the patio. He welcomed the cool outdoor air again, the shop had been stuffy and too warm for his liking. He found a table for two placing the teas down on it. He'd let Raven sort of which one belonged to who. He sunk down into one of the chairs lazily Now that, that's all settled. You should let me see your tattoo.

I'm Lost In Paradise "Force of habit I guess. You can buy it next time then" She said shrugging her shoulders. Raven was used to doing things one her own and it wasn't like she didn't have the money. The difference in temperature from the warm cafe to the patio was a slight shock but it wasn't bad. She had on a warm coat and it didn't bother her too much. Sure she loved warm weathers, especially since there were so many more animals out but the winter had its charm. Raven sorted the teas and took a sip of hers instantly felling better from the sweet warm liquid. "Oh right!" She perked up at the mention of the tattoo. She slid her jacket off her shoulders and turned around so Gem could see the tattoo that curved from her right shoulder up the back of her neck.

Oh wow! That's really gangsta. Gemini exclaimed as he looked at her tattoo from his position in the chair. Did you get it just because, or obviously because of your name..?He inquired out of pure curiosity. He picked up the tea She had sorted as his and took a sip of it. Overall it was decent, it wasn't black coffee but it was good overall, it definitely had a winter feel to it that made him feel even more content.

I'm Lost In Paradise She laughed at his comment as she bundled back up and took her seat. She had a couple reasons why she decided to get the tattoo. "Honestly I have been wanting to get one but never really had the nerve to get one. So figured since I am turning over a new leaf it was time to just get it done" She said shrugging her shoulders. She had thought about it a while ago but she was too reserved to go. After everything that happened she figured a physical change would help the mental one. "I decided on the design because my fist and middle name literately translates to Raven of the forest, and I knew I had to have a bird of some kind" She laughed. Raven decided it was best to leave out the whole ticking off her mother as well. "So what's up?" She asked eager to have someone else talk.

Unfortunately it's more of a defensive power and so it's not as useful if he needs to do an offensive attack. Due to the fast speeds he can move at it can leave him open to making mistakes.

Gemini listened to her explanation nodding along Well that's pretty cool. he smiled at her I'm glad you found your courage to do it or whatever. You really shouldn't ever fear anything. He took another sip of the tea, despite it being good he was definitely snagging s cup of coffee on his way back to the dorms, there was something satisfying about the roasted bitterness that he had become addicted to. Oh you know, nothing much. Same ol' same ol' drinking. Girls. Hanging out with Dani and Ryan.... He glanced out at the street watching a car pass by as he tried to think of anything interesting going on in his life I'm headed back home for the first time in like three years in a couple days for break..I'm pretty stoked about it. ANY LONGER AND IT CAUSES MASSIVE HEADACHES, NOSE BLEEDS AND IN SOME CASES SHE WILL PASS OUT BUT THAT DOESN'T HAPPEN TILL THE TWO HOUR MARK. THE SIMPLER THE COMMAND THE EASIER IT IS TO CONTROL THE ANIMALS. RAVEN PREFERS TO JUST ASK THE ANIMAL IF THEY ARE WILLING TO DO SOMETHING RATHER THAN CONTROL THEM. I'm Lost In Paradise She figured Gem would be the only person who hadn't really changed. That was nice though. She knew what to expect. She took a sip of her tea enjoying the floral flavor. Courage, no fear. It wasn't her, at least not yet but she was working on it. Kale's words from a while back still rang in the back of her head. She hoped things would be somewhat different after the break. Seeing the family could do one of two things. Either break her or make her step it up. "That's great! Seems like spending time with family is a trend this break. I am going back to confront mine, it should be interesting" Raven knew it was going to be something.

Gemini shrugged Yeah, well I normally hang around So Dani isn't alone but now that She's got her brother and sister, I don't really need to stay and my mom's been wanting to see over something besides facetime. It's going to be really weird though.. Gemini wasn't truly sure how he felt about leaving Dani for that long, even now they'd only been separated for a few days here and there, two weeks was a whole different story and it was their first Christmas as whatever they were. He wrapped his hands around the cup using it to warm his hands up. He moved the cup around, watching the tea swirl around inside of it as he spoke Going home to confront them doesn't sound very festive...What do you need to confront them for? There was a curious look on his face as he looked up at her.

I'm Lost In Paradise "Weird?" She asked wondering what could be weird about going to see the family when said person did get along with their family. Raven shrugged her shoulders at his question. She didn't really want to spill about her family considering how things were right then with the whole inheriting and family drama. Her mother was the root to her problems and she figured if she could face the woman without backing down then she was growing. "Family is a bit...well complicated to say the least. More interested in labels, image and power than anything else really" She gave a slight smile and she thought on it. For the longest time she wondered why she didn't turn out worse. Then again she could be evil like her sister. "Besides that I was thinking it would be interesting getting everyone together before break to kind of just celebrate the holidays. A little party maybe" She suggested.

Yeah, I mean going home won't be weird..Well maybe it's been awhile but being without Dani that long will be weird. We've never really been apart except like a few days in three years and never over break. He took another sip of his tea. It still wasn't as satisfying as that bitter taste you got with coffee. He nodded, not that he truly understood complicated families, even with his father's interesting power predicament and Ryan acting as the adopted child his family had always been pretty simple. Sounds like a drag, girl. I hope you get it worked out. He raised his eyebrows at her a playful smile on his lips Did someone say party? Ha, You should wait until after then we can all get together and discuss all the drama, Or really you guys can and I'll just listen.
