He had the toned and tanned body of a southern cowhand, complete with that crooked little smirk they all seem to developed between the ages of thirteen and sixteen. He is generally in jeans, a comfortable t-shirt, and boots, but every now and then he may switch it up. He doesn't have any tattoos or anything like that but he does have a few scars from a nasty four wheeler collision with some barbed wire.

BEYOND THE LOOKING GLASS

LIKES	BEING OUTSIDE Taze spends a good portion of his time chillin' outside. Especially in the summer when it is warm and he can go to the pool and relax. WARM WEATHER Taze is a summer being, which wouldn't be a surprise to anyone who any the first thing about him. Where he is from, the cold part of the year is that time when all work is halted because nothing of real value will grow. Oh, and you have to go to school. Why would anyone like winter? CHASING GIRLS But not in the traditional, "I want to sleep with ever hot thang that walks by" kind of way. He likes to flirt and tease and stuff, but going for the home run is disrespectful, and for some reason girls dig a guy who takes care of them. CHIVALRY? He has never been sure what to call this, but the whole opening the door for the girl, paying for her meal thing is very important to Taze. It's like an insult to his manhood if the girl refuses to let him do any of this. DANCING Yes, believe it or not Taze is a dancer. No, not the tango, and definitely not the mambo. But two-steppin for sure and on rare occasion he could be convinced to Whip/Nae Nae. FAMILY Family has always been on the top of Taze's list of important things. When you live in a small town and it's basically just you and your family (this may or may not include the other 200 people in town who you know like family) you get close and he is naturally protective as it is. HARD WORK There is something rewarding about doing manual labor and then being able to step back and see what your work got you. Farming is pretty much Exhibit A for this. MOVIES When given a reading assignment at school, you can be sure as hell if there is a movie for the book, the little plastic cover isn't even coming off. Taze is way more likely to retain information from a film than from words on a page. ANIMALS But not in the way that immediately comes to mind. Farm kids have a strange appreciation for animals for a number of reasons. They are either a domesticated work tool of sorts, helping on the far, or they are an important source of fresh beef (yes they raise and slaughter cattle). HUNTIN' When deer season comes around, Taze can't wait to strap on that neon orange safety vest and run through the trees with a cooler of Bud and a rifle. Some people may argue that this contradicts the fact that he loves animals, but he begs to differ. WORKING OUT Sitting around and playing a video game for hours on end is not Taze's style. He is way more likely to be found among the lift equipment at the gym or swimming laps. SWIMMING IN GENERAL Being a summer baby, Taze loves to spend time at the lake or pool. He is the kind of kid who built a precarious and dangerous rope swing as a kid and as a result, probably earned himself a number of broken arms and concussions. But no matter how many times he hurt himself, he was always back at the swing the first chance he got. FOOTBALL Like any man from the south, and any PERSON from small town Oklahoma, Taze finds that football season is the best time of year. Christmas? Yeah I guess that is nice, but FOOTBALL. GO POKES! HARVEST TIME Because in the South, Harvest is a completely acceptable and encouraged reason to skip school. And it's just awesome. HIS POWER Knowing people are unlikely to lie to you ever is a pretty nice way to go through life. He never has to worry that he has been led astray. THRILL RIDES From roller coasters to four wheelers, carnival rides to muddin', Taze loves the adrenaline rush of doing something that may or may not kill you.
DISLIKES	BEING INDOORS Taze has always spent as much time as he could outside.Even when it is pouring down rain, he makes an effort to never be too far away from the door. Sitting under the porch awning, or even being out in the pouring rain, seems better to him than being cooped up indoors all the time. IT BEING REMOTELY COLD OUTSIDE The south is hot. Yeah round, awesome kind of hot. And moving to Wyoming is probably one of the hardest things Taze has ever been forced to deal with, you know, besides the whole "little sister has cancer thing". SITTING STILL He doesn't know if it is ADD, or if he even believes that ADD is a real thing, but Taze has always had a problem sitting still and paying attention for longer than...say...half an hour. CANCER HATERS Okay so this sounds weird, and he knows he hasn't worded this properly, But Taze HATES when people treat Cancer patients like they are contagious, or they are broken. His little sister is the best person ever and she is far from both of those things. READING Movies are way better than books. If it's good, you get plot satisfaction sooner, if it's awful, at least you only wasted like two hours instead of a week, or whatever. FEMINISM Okay, so that comes out sounds bad every time Taze tries to say it. He doesn't have a problem with empowered women, or women working, or even women getting paid the same as men for the jobs they do. But being punching in the face because he tries to pay for a woman? Stupid. Just be quiet and let him open the door for you. He isn't doing it to hold you down or make you feel inferior. He is doing it to be nice. BEING TOLD WHAT TO DO Taze isn't that run of the mill "problem with authority" type, but he doesn't like being told what to do when it is outside of that authorities perspective. Like when a teacher tries to tell him to miss harvest. Get out of here, crazy. NAY-SAYERS Taze isn't the smartest guy in school. And his dream of being a doctor someday isn't exactly what you would assume given his bad grades, but he HATES being told he can't do something and is more likely to strive when told he can't. BEING LAZY This is definitely not something he hates all the time. He likes to Netflix all day as much as the next guy, but he is way more likely to enjoy sitting outside with unlimited food in a basket than sit on his couch. VIDEO GAMES He doesn't get the appeal. You can't really play video games outdoors and guys who play video games all the time generally are overweight and miss out on fun, world stuff. MUSICALS AND SINGING Not his scene. Don't bother trying to get him on the karaoke stand. Ain't happenin'. GUY THAT ARE DICKS TO GIRLS He isn't a Saint, but being a dick to girls is basically the worst thing a guy can do. Seriously, there is a good way and a bad way to do things and they are both pretty frikkin' obvious.

PERSONALITY	Everyone who has ever been in a high school knows that there is always a token man slut. You know, that one guy who all the girls seems to fawn over and he pretty much has slept with everything with the opposite binary sequence. And if you met and talked to Taze on a superficial level, you would probably jump to the totally fair conclusion that he was one of those guys. After all, of the nine girls in his middle school class, he got to second base with four of them and first base with the rest. But what might surprise you is that Taze is completely charming. He always joked that he was a “classy slut”. See, being raised as a small town farm kid taught Taze a number of things. The first, is that he was never expected, by the world outside his town at least, to graduate from anything or do anything more productive than giving girls black eyes. The second thing Taze was taught by a childhood as a farm kid, was that women deserved all the respect in the world. His mother taught him all the little things that she said girls notice, like walking on the outside of the sidewalk so they are less likely to be hit by a car, and opening the door for them no matter how capable they are of opening it for themselves. Once you know this about Taze, it is clear that the reason he is so popular with the ladies is because is simply nice to them, and very good looking. He is certain that helps. The third thing that Taze learned in his upbringing, is that family is more important than anything else. So when his annoying yet adorable little sister got sick, Taze took it really hard. He started to try and protect her from things that might trigger her illness in any way, even if it meant being way too overbearing which, somehow, girls thought was even better than before. But from this, Taze became a loyal, completely protective person of girls he sees as the little sister type. The fourth, and probably most unexpected thing, that Taze learned as a farm kid was that waiting for sex was completely worth it. To answer your immediate question: No, Taze is not a virgin. He took full advantage of his charming and completely adorable self as any normal 15 year old would. But as he got older, he began to realize that it was disrespectful to the girls and that, as stated in the second thing Taze learned as a farm kid, was one of the most important parts of being successful in life. Since he has turned sixteen, Taze has actively made an effort to not sleep with anyone he has not been dating for at least a month. In his mission to not hurt anyone, he wants to make sure the girl is someone he cares about before putting their feelings on the line like that.

HISTORY

Taze was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Kayda and Tony Fowler. After a few days in the hospital, Taze was taken home to their farm near Coyle, about half an hour outside of the City. Taze was just like any rambunctious farm boy. A few years later, his little sister, AMARYLLIS JESSICA FOWLER, was born. Even before she got sick, Amy was one of Taze's favorite people. She was small and cute and innocent. He believed she could do no wrong. And then the unthinkable happened. When Taze was in the sixth grade, and Amy was in the fifth, Amy started to change. She was tired more often and Taze swore she was looking sick. He told his mother about it, and at the time she was so busy as a teacher that she didn't notice or do anything about the ramblings of an eleven year old boy who didn't know anything. But then Amy collapsed at school, and as protocol demanded, Amy was taken to the hospital in an ambulance.  After only sitting in the waiting room for an hour, the doctors had already found the cancer. Taze can't even imagine how Amy felt, because it shattered his world. Their mother quit her job and stayed at the hospital with Amy as she was buried in chemo and hospital beds. Taze began to struggle at school because of his constant worry and always taking off to visit Amy. He was an athlete, but he rarely practiced and, until Amy returned to school the following year, he barely played. Amy coming back to school re-vitalized Taze. He was able to focus on the things he liked most, like science and football. He decided that he wanted to be a doctor. It will be hard, but he is determined to work to get there. When Taze was 13, a representative from Ashford came to take him away. Apparently he was able to make people tell him the truth when he was touching them or something. Not that it mattered, because he flat out refused to leave Amy, The following year, Amy was recruited. And once again, their mother refused to let her go. She was forced to attend her freshman year of high school at Coyle and practice what the representative said would be work like "preventative power". If Taze hurt himself playing football, she would heal him. And now, their mother has finally agreed that maybe the power training would be the best thing for Amy. So for his senior year, and Amy's sophomore year, they were finally sent to Ashford.
