Virgil definitely hadn't planned on ending up like this, it was only a few drinks after all. Maybe a few too many if his current situation was anything to go by. He blinked, still a little dazed as the winter sun finally broke through the clouds and shining on his face. Sitting up slowly as a piercing headache made Virgil very aware that he'd definitely had to much to drink. If the tree and the fact that he was shirtless wasn't a dead giveaway already. He didn't even remember climbing a tree, so waking up in one was definitely confusing. He felt himself shiver as the cold winter air bit into his exposed upper body, he groaned before taking a look around. He didn't even know where he was, whether he was still in Wyoming or whether he'd somehow managed to get himself into a completely different state while drunk off his head. He spotted the Academy in the distance which assured him that he was in fact still in Calloway.
Virgil attempted to move away from the tree and climb down it but he didn't get far before a wave of dizziness made him reconsider. A sharp wind had him shivering again, but in his current haze he'd rather face hypothermia than attempting to climb down the tree with a killer hangover. He would simply wait until he felt more himself before he moved, in the meantime he would try and remember how he'd ended up in a tree. He remembered his best friend Rich was there at some point at a bar in Calloway but that's as far as his memory got. It must've be been one epic night that was now merely a black hole in Virgil's memory. He figured someone would come by soon and rescue him, Rich might've already sent out a search party.
