There are many different kinds of telumkinesis, apparently. Braxton's particular brand is the more powerful of them, allowing him to conjure anything to be used as a weapon. There are a few snags in this awesome power, the most annoying of which being the five foot rule. Anything he conjures can't leave a five foot radius from him.
Drops his sword? Poof, gone.
Bow and arrow? Only if you want to hit them with it.
Stapler? Sure why not, but don't expect those staplers to be useful once you leave the papers on the desk.
Another flaw int he power is that he must conjure the item with the intent of using it as a weapon. Whether it be to hit a dummy, or attack a person, Braxton's power won't work if he just wants to conjure a ruler for giggles. He has to have the intention of smack someone or something with it. The way he gets around this is very Hulk like. He just decided that if he is always angry, he will always want to beat something up and then conjuring stuff is no big deal.

CREATED BY RYN ★ [attr="class","woot"] i'll tell you all about it He had run into Melanie a few minutes earlier and they were heading toward where she claimed she felt Dani hiding. With his mind solely on finding his sister, he didn't have the energy to say anything to Melanie, but his mind was reeling with all the mean and cruel things he would inevitably say to her later.
They came across a fence, metal and about seven feet tall, that stood between them and what looked to be a boathouse or something on the water. It swayed slightly in the wind and made him narrow his eyes, "Come on, we need to get over this fence." He got down on his knees and held out his hands, intending to boost the girl over the fence because he was certain she was too useless to do it herself. Melanie has the ability to mentally communicate with people. She has a normal range of around ten feet unless she is familiar with the mind she is communicating with. If she has communicated with someone before multiple times, she can feel their mental presence for up to 100 yards, but the connection tends to be weak. Her range only slightly increases when she is panicked and is attempting to find a specific person.
Communicating with a stranger is harder for Melanie because she currently struggles with finding the connection and holding on to it. With training, she might be able to hold a conversation with up to four people at the same time, but they would not be able to hear eachother's thoughts, only hers.

Melanie narrowed her eyes at him, almost taking him up on the offer whenever she noticed something off to the side. A notch in the fence where people had climbed up. If she followed them, it would probably be just like rock climbing. Don't worry about me, I've got it handled. She stated, grabbing on to the wall and following the indentations until she could swing herself over. Dani should be inside. You could at least try to not block me out while we do this, you know. Melanie spoke through the telepathic connection. Normally she didn't ask for permission, but this was Braxton. How many hundreds of times had she talked to him like that in the middle of the night when they were supposed to be sleeping. Oh well, that was all over now. Whatever he had told himself was enough that they would likely never be okay again and she had accepted that.

CREATED BY RYN ★ [attr="class","woot"] i'll tell you all about it Basically everything this girl did annoyed him. He offered her a bit of kindness to boost her over the stupid fence and she spurned him. Even if he didn't know exactly what had made him hate her so much in the beginning, he had found plenty of reasons to fuel the flames since then. She was pretentious, she couldn't hold a normal, vocal conversation with anyone. Seriously, what did he ever see in her?
An annoying little voice from in his head pointed out how pretty she saw, or how adorable it was that she was trying to climb over the fence on her own. He shook that sound out of his head. No one needs negativity like that in their life. Reaching up, Braxton grabbed the top bar of the fence and hoisted himself up. His arms flexed as he pulled himself over and jumped the eight feet to the ground on the other side. Despite himself, he stood still, his jaw tightened as he held his arms up to catch Melanie when she decided to jump, "I'm sorry. Did you say something?" It wasn't hard to catch the annoyance in his voice. The last thing she wanted to do was admit that she needed help from Braxton Wyatt of all people, but there she was, dangling from the side of the fence and realizing that her fear of heights wouldn't let her just jump without someone there to catch her. Brax was already on the ground waiting, so after a few deep breaths she let go and hoped that he didn't let her fall. Once she was safely on the ground, Melanie stepped away from him quickly like his touch was burning her, but it was quite the opposite. She liked the contact too much and things were too different now. Whatever Braxton. Let's just find her so that we can get Octavia and Alex. Then I'll leave for France and you won't have to see me ever again. Fhat was the plan at least. Retrieve Alex, leave, forget about Braxton and his sister and everything in between.

With a frustrated sigh, Melanie pushed past Braxton and walked in to the boathouse without ever acknowledging his question. Following the signal she was getting from Dani's mind, she walked over to a set of boats that had been stored from the winter and stopped. She was definitely there and she was definitely more freaked out than she needed to be. You know, you could try not scaring her anymore if you actually want her to say something Braxton. If not we'll just end up in jail, and we'll be no where closer to finding Tavie or Alex. She suggested mentally before moving to slowly take the tarp away, hoping that the telumkinetic under it wasn't armed.

Before the tarp could be completely pulled away, Braxton growled and stepped between Melanie and the tarp, "Stop it!" He said, his once flat voice now laced with anger. He could feel his hands twitching to summon a sword or something but he refrained, "I don't care if she is scared. The only reason I would end up in jail tonight is over your dead body. So shut the fuck up and get out of my head." He spun around, ignoring her reaction to what he said and ripped the tarp away.

For probably the first time since she had met Braxton, Melanie was truly afraid of him. Part of her wished that she hadn't come at all. With the way he was acting, there was no way Dani was ever going to tell them what they needed. She'd probably run the first chance she got or stand and try to fight him. While the people on the chat had thought that would be interesting, Melanie wasn't so sure. Instead she just quietly stepped away and slunk back in to the background, her normally assertive personality failing to protect her or Dani this time around. What good would it do anyways? Apparently it would just end with one of them getting hurt if he had his way.

The ability to summon weapons allows Danielle to take any weapon within her line of sight, barring complications such as super strength or another more powerful telumkinetic. She is limited to only two weapons at a time, though she only usually takes one unless she's going for a bow and arrows. They always land safely in her palm with no chances of impalement, even if she turns around or moves her hand. The only way for this to injure another person is if they step in to the path of an incoming weapon before it switches directions. Her definition of the word weapon can be pretty broad, as she can summon anything that she has the intent to use as a weapon or that she has seen used as a weapon before, such as a belt.

Dani had been hiding in one of the boats when she heard the footsteps. Seriously, the two of them needed to work harder on being quiet. Braxton's yelling didn't necessarily scare her and she definitely wasn't as freaked out as she had made it seem on the chat, but she was concerned about what was going on out there. As it was she had called Tavie five times and she wouldn't answer, which is exactly what she intended to tell Braxton. She won't pick up. I've been calling her all night. I told you it was too early, but if you don't believe me here. Throwing her phone at Braxton, she stood up and walked over to Mel, standing slightly between the two former friends in case he decided to make good on his promise. What an asshole.

Braxton didn't need super human agility to catch the phone when it was tossed at him. Even though his face remain unchanged, actually turning and looking at Melanie's face after his words shocked him a little. Now that he had Octavia's phone number for himself, it didn't seem like he should have been that harsh. He frowned anyway, and even though he looked mad it was more a frown of effort as he tried to break down all those walls he had built up in his head to keep her out just for moment, Sorry, Mel. The thought filtered through just before he stormed out of the boat house, not wanting to be with them anymore.
