The ability to summon weapons allows Danielle to take any weapon within her line of sight, barring complications such as super strength or another more powerful telumkinetic. She is limited to only two weapons at a time, though she only usually takes one unless she's going for a bow and arrows. They always land safely in her palm with no chances of impalement, even if she turns around or moves her hand. The only way for this to injure another person is if they step in to the path of an incoming weapon before it switches directions. Her definition of the word weapon can be pretty broad, as she can summon anything that she has the intent to use as a weapon or that she has seen used as a weapon before, such as a belt.

Even though she had already been through one formal training session that day, dani was still keyed up and ready for some action. At the moment she was standing in an unoccupied room, working on throwing weapons around instead of just drawing them in. It was more tedious work than she was used to, but it was exercising her power nonetheless. Trainer Kale had suggested a real weapon instead of just her belt, like maybe it would help her focus or something. It was worth a shot enough for her to grab one of the smaller throwing knives from the training room and bring it back to this one. It wasn't as weapon proof as the others, but the small thing she had probably couldn't hurt anyone unless she actually tried. Most people thought she just looked at a weapon and it flew straight to her, but that wasn't necessarily the case. It was more like the weapons had a string attached to it, all of them connected to her wrist at the same time. The closer they were, the easier she could find the string and retract it. That same mechanism was what made pushing a weapon away difficult or nearly impossible. The string wasn't substantial enough for her to lean on it heavily and it took most of her range worth of string to push things more than a few inches. It was like just piling things up against the knife instead of moving it. After the third or fourth failed attempt, Dani was ready to give up for the day. It had only moved once, and even that wasn't spectacular. Leaning heavily against the wall, Dani took a long drink out of a water battle and stared at the offending instrument. This was hopeless. There are many different kinds of telumkinesis, apparently. Braxton's particular brand is the more powerful of them, allowing him to conjure anything to be used as a weapon. There are a few snags in this awesome power, the most annoying of which being the five foot rule. Anything he conjures can't leave a five foot radius from him.
Drops his sword? Poof, gone.
Bow and arrow? Only if you want to hit them with it.
Stapler? Sure why not, but don't expect those staplers to be useful once you leave the papers on the desk.
Another flaw int he power is that he must conjure the item with the intent of using it as a weapon. Whether it be to hit a dummy, or attack a person, Braxton's power won't work if he just wants to conjure a ruler for giggles. He has to have the intention of smack someone or something with it. The way he gets around this is very Hulk like. He just decided that if he is always angry, he will always want to beat something up and then conjuring stuff is no big deal.

CREATED BY RYN ★ [attr="class","woot"] i'll tell you all about it Braxton hadn't been in this new town for very long. And he didn't leave his dorm room if he could avoid it, so the fact that he was in the Training Center was already weird. He found a room near the back that wasn't crawling with people and stood at the door, watching a somewhat familiar looking girl struggle with some sort of weapon or something. He leaned against the door frame and watched he for a moment before speaking, "What are you even trying to do?" His voice was flat and kind of harsh, in true Braxton fashion. A somewhat familiar voice came from the door way and startled Dani, sending he knife flying across the room since she had been trying to push it one more time out of stubbornness. Apparently she could only manage it if she wasn't trying too hard. Obviously, I'm playing with knives sergeant sarcasm. Dani retorted before pulling the knife back neatly into her hand. Leave it to Braxton to show up out of thin air and either not recognize her or not care. Nice to see you to Wyatt. It's been a hot second. Turning to fully face him, Dani looked Braxton over, almost like she was sizing him up. That wasn't her intention. Mostly she was wondering where he had been and why he was here now, without Mel. Maybe she was farther out of the loop than she thought.

Telumkinesis, emphasis on retrieval. Dani replied dryly, pulling on the knife but letting it fall short so that it landed in the center of the room. Pushing against it like Kale had told her to, she watched as the weapon shuddered and then stopped moving altogether not even an inch. Unfortunately one of the crackpot trainers has convinced himself that I should be able to move it everywhere but that's not gonna happen. This stuff was crazy, but she really didn't know what else to do with her power. Throw knife, pull it back. Wash, rinse, repeat for forever. So what's up Brax? When did you get here?

He said watching the knife fly across the room and then stop. Raising his eye brows, he approached and reached out in front of him, "Mine doesn't really work like yours does though." He said, grabbing at the air in front of him and yanking down. A knife matching the one in the floor appeared in his hand and he showed it to her, "Can you do that too?" Braxton ignored her question on how long he had been there. He would rather not think about it, to be honest. Dani shook her head, obviously impressed but not willing to say anything. She had always kinda been jealous of the people who could create weapons like Braxton, even if she hadn't really spent time with another Telumkinetic. No, mine has an emphasis on the summoning. I can control them, you can create them. Stupid power quirks. Still, she wouldn't trade her power for some of the flashier ones. Hers couldn't hurt anyone unless she absolutely wanted it to, and then it was still purely her fault. Her power could bring her the weapon, but pulling the trigger was her decision. So can you do just anything or what? Like mine bases the idea of a weapon off of intent, so I can like summon pencils and crazy stuff like that. That would be interesting. Never having to buy a pencil again. Now her mind was starting to wander and she genuinely needed to focus.

Braxton shrugged and looked bored, "Intent. I guess yeah." He said, not completely sure what she was talking about, "I mean, as long as I am mad enough I can basically use anything for a weapon."
