When you grow up a foster kid with no real grasp on whom your family was, or who they could have been, that is one thing. And for his little sister Octavia, the constant wondering and longing to be a part of something sometimes got the better of her. But Braxton was a completely different story. He had been young when they were taken from their parents, maybe two or three. Octavia had just been born and the doctor’s at the hospital reported to the Child Protective Services that the baby was addicted to Ecstasy. Despite insisting that there had been some mistake, the government intervened and took both children away from the Wyatt family. Like anyone, the Wyatt’s were not perfect. They had money troubles and a cruel roommate who smoked too much pot. But they loved their kids and would never have done anything to harm them. The day that CPS came to whisk Octavia and Braxton away from their home, his mother pulled him aside and begged him to always treasure Octavia and never let any harm come to her no matter where they went. The three year old Braxton would never forget the pure desperation that dripped off of his mother’s words, clouded her eyes, and seemed to be crushing her. In fact, it was the only thing Braxton truly remembers about his mother. Her complete devotion to making sure her kids were loved and taken care of. But kids get things wrong and Braxton learned much later that his parents were not the nice, great people he had remembered. Sure, they loved him. And yes, his mother wanted Octavia protected. But it was for all the reasons he would never understand. For them, the kids provided a much needed government income that helped them to buy drugs. Helene’s drug of choice was ecstasy so it was no surprise the Octavia showed signed of the drug in her system upon birth. After being taken from their parents, Braxton and Octavia worked hard to stay together. Moving from group home to group home and occasionally getting placed with a family who could take them both, Brax and Tavie moved around the country and were constantly living out of the trash bag they carried their clothes in. The pair never attended a single school long than three months until they were much older. At the age of fifteen, Braxton and his little sister were finally placed in a home that seemed promising. A large house with a family that seemed keen on adoption. They already had two foster children in their care, a set of twins that Braxton didn’t really have a chance to get to know. Octavia made fast friends with the girl, DANIELLE ANGELEA ROCKEFELLAR, before they were both moved to another home within the family. But the real treasure of this home were the biological children. Specifically, the daughter MELANIE ALESSA THORN, who was the same age as Braxton. She was beautiful, smart, funny. The chemistry was almost material and she made him almost regret that she was supposed to be family. For Octavia, things could have been better. Growing up with the vague thought that maybe her parents wanted her and she was stolen from them didn’t help then fact that she didn’t ever feel like she belonged anywhere. The first person, besides her brother, who seemed to really understand her was DANIELLE ANGELEA ROCKEFELLAR. They were very close before Dani got sent to another home and even then they kept in touch regularly. Then, Tavie made some friends with the wrong group of people. As her power began to manifest herself, Octavia saw it as an opportunity to impress her new friends and earn a little extra spending money. She sold her time so that people would be able to get high just by being around her. As a 14 year old girl, in never occurred to her that what she was doing could be very dangerous. When Melanie pointed it out that what she was doing was kind of illegal, Tavie couldn’t blame her for going to the foster ‘rents. She felt she deserved it. But she also didn’t want to go to jail, or to another crappy group home. So before CPS could separate her from Braxton and send her away, she and Alex packed their bags and ran out the door. She spent the next year or so running around with Alex, trying to decide what they were going to do next. With Alex’s help, Tavie sold her time again to keep them funded as they traveled the country. It didn’t take long for them to realize that they would need Fake IDs to keep up the charade. With her new name, Sophia Shay Sabina, Octavia and Alex moved to Las Vegas. They spent the longest time of their travel in Vegas, because earning money came easily there. Octavia dabbled in a few rather sketchy money making ideas and they lived in a medium-nice apartment on the edge of the city. Octavia started to wonder if maybe they had finally found a place they could call home when the school reps showed up to cart them to Wyoming. Apparently fake identities don’t work very well when you have someone who can track a person’s power. Somehow, the pair got separated on the way to the school.

POWER DESCRIPTION	Octavia has the power to induce or repress feelings of ecstasy in others. The most raw form of her power is basically the air around her. People that come within about ten to twenty feet of her are subject to her powerful Ecstasy influence. Basically this means they will have heightened senses and feelings of strangely immense pleasure when they are around her. Some side effects of Octavia's power are pretty standard. It is not uncommon for people who are around her for an extended period of time to pass out or black out. Sometimes, Octavia can't control the power and it kind of infects people when she doesn't want it to. It also means that she is high for about 60% of her waking hours which can really cut in to things like school and life in general. Another facet of her power is the ability to take away, or repress the ecstasy. She can actually make people feel really down and depressed if she isn't careful and this bit of power is generally seeded in her own feelings. When Tavie is feeling down or upset it can set in and make everyone around her miserable.
SPECIAL ITEMS	Octavia's most precious treasure to date is a necklace given to her by Alex. It is half a Batman logo and her has the other half.
