Her drug induced escapade ended too so for the girl. Though she knew it was for the better. However the whole detox was not pleasant and she was still having some withdraw symptoms and her anxiety just seemed worse. She was still kind of ticked off at her brother but she couldn't help but feel grateful to him for coming to get her. Who knew what could have happened if she stayed there. She was packing up her stuff in the dorm. She was moving down the hall. When her brother wanted something down it happened including temporary room relocation till she was emotional stable. Raven didn't want to acknowledge that she was emotional unstable but the reality of it was different. She was just glad Dani hand't showed up while she was packing. She just had a couple more things to move and everything would be out. Her side of the room looked so empty, it was very disheartening. She was placing a mirror in the box on the bed and realized how rough she really looked. Her eyes were still slightly bloodshot and her face paler that usual. She also hadn't smiled since she got on the plane and heading back for Ashford. She shoved the mirror into the box. The sound of the door opening startled her and she quickly griped her hand so she would stop shaking.

Dani had convinced herself to go to all her classes that day for the first time since everything went down, even Dr. Cooper's class. Everything had gone better than expected, especially since Gem had gone MIA for an all boy's road trip back to L.A. There was no way this one was even remotely her fault, but at least things were starting to go back to normal.
Turning the key in her door, she was surprised to find it unlocked for the first time in forever. It swung open easily, revealing the half empty room and her absentee roommate. Soo...were we robbed or are you being kidnapped? She asked slowly, not sure how to approach whatever was going on here. It was definitely a shock because no one had said anything to her about not having a roommate anymore.

Raven looked at her roommate in slight shock. What was she to say. Hey I'm moving out till I can emotionally be around you? That wasn't going to work. She breath in to help calm her heart rate that was steadily increasing. "Temporary relocation" She half whispered. Why couldn't she say anything? This was Dani, she needed to smile like always. Smile shake it off move on, things she would usually do in this situation but smiling was hard. It hurt more than the frown. She was tiered of hiding behind the constant cheerful glow that people knew her as. Her little trip to New York defitantly taught her one thing. She needed to stop hiding. But she wasn't ready to face her friends. She wasn't that strong. She hesitated biting her lip. "It is good to see you. Sorry I have been a little awol" She tried to mask the quiver in her voice.

Dani nodded slowly, throwing her bag across the room to her own bed where it landed with a loud thud that almost echoed off of the now empty walls. Well, at least it's just temporary. Raven looked worse for the wear, but going on a bender like that would certainly do the trick. Are they sending you off to detox somewhere more...stable? Because they might want to go farther than just down the hall. Like it or not, alcohol isn't the worst thing this school has seen and that's the only thing Gem and I mess with...well, often. Sure, she had experimented, but she never stuck to any of the hard stuff. She cared too much about her training for that.
At Raven's apology, Dani shook her head and smiled. No worries. Everyone has to let loose at some point. Granted, you might have wanted to take someone with you to keep you from going too far, but it was that or completely explode. You do what you need to. In the meantime, Dani shot Raven a smirk and walked over to grab a packed box from the floor. You know where to find me. Unless they move me too, but it's not that big of a school.

Raven shook her head. "It is not for detox. More for stability and monitoring, something about bad after effects" Raven tried to shrug off the whole thing but she wasn't even convincing herself. She was glad Dani was being cool about the whole situation. Yeah she knew it was natural to go off the deep end every now and then but it was really out of character for her. Raven was still wondering why she even did something to rash and idiotic. What ever it was that she was taking she felt more effected that she thought was normal. Raven figured that if Dani knew how much she had taken she might not be so cool with the whole thing. Raven didn't even remember exactly what happened during the two weeks. Every now and then she would have flashes of what happened. Few unpleasant others just blurs. Raven just wasn't sure how to express it.

Dani shook her head and smiled a little bit. Leave it to Raven to go hard or go home. Seriously, she should have tried harder to get Raven in to the party scene earlier. Maybe then she wouldn't have run off like that and gotten in too far over her head. Granted Gem had done the same thing, but that was besides the point. Sounds like you need it then. From the way your brother talked, I'm surprised he's letting you move yourself. She and Rich were probably going to end up killing each other some day, that much was for sure. So, when are you going to tell me your grand story? Not right now of course, I'm assuming you are on a deadline, but soon.

Raven shrugged her shoulders. Sure she needed to get away but the whole thing was really odd. "He is on some conference call with our father. He said he would stop by after. He was overly cryptic" Raven explained. She figured the whole keeping secrets and being cryptic was just another family skill. She half wished she never did pick up any of the trademarks of a Gaunt but some things you couldn't run from. "You know I was just planing on being gone for a couple days, but I don't know how to explain any of it. Pathetic right?" Raven gave a fake chuckled. She would love to tell her roommate what happened or what was really going on in her head, but she didn't fell like she could. Maybe it was just better for everyone to think nothing of her little escapade without knowing the real details. "So how's everything" Raven asked trying to change the subject.

Eh. People lose themselves in places like that. I'm surprised we ever left Vegas, or that Gem and I ever came back from Candyland. Sometimes you run and don't want to come back. Whatever Raven had done, Dani wasn't going to pry for the information, especially not with the threat of the elder Gaunt coming by to check in. He didn't scare her, but killing Raven's brother might not be a good idea. Everything is getting...better? I've been spending some time with my sister and some old friends. Things with Gem are weird...but he didn't end up with Rae. We haven't defined things again, but...I dunno. He's so weird.

She knew it was common for people to loose themselves. She just was still confused by the whole thing. Maybe it was a wake up call. One that she really needed. Raven was tiered of being in the background and hiding behind a smile. She needed to really face what was holding her back. She remembered what Asher had told her before about realizing she had nothing to fear but fear. Maybe in a twisted way this was her way of figuring that out. As torn as she was it did feel good in a way. She was starting to feel free. "Maybe things are turning around. For everyone. I still haven't talked to Seth" She did fell kind of bad for not contacting him right away. They were supposedly going out right? Raven just shrugged her shoulders. She didn't see the relationship lasting much longer anyway.
