THERMAL MANIPULATION |
Xan can sense and manipulate temperatures around him. He can feel in a sense heat and coll temps from people and objects allowing him to almost see his surroundings. This is just natural and doesn't shut off. If there are too many of the same temperatures around him he can't always differentiate between the objects.
Manipulating temperatures takes focus and he can hold a temp for up to three hours as long as it doesn't exceed -20F point or 300F. Anything past that the length he can keep it up differs. He doesn't have to be in physical contact with what ever he is working with but does have to be withing three feet of it. He can heat up a 10ft radius of water as long as he is in the water. It seems that if he is in contact with water he can make the heat or cool temps travel further. If he is not concentrating it doesn't work and there is the chance of getting too hold or cold that it will burn or freeze him only when the temp is at a more extreme. Also it is stronger if he is in physical contact with the object.

Boredom was sometimes hard to cure. For Xan this was one of those nights. He had finished school work and was now going through the kitchen wondering what he wanted to make for dinner. More so figuring out what he had to make. He had gone shopping recently which was really just picking up the groceries from one of the stores that will gather everything for you. Shopping could be a little tedious for him.
He wasn't expecting anyone really so wasn't paying attention to the door when that someone entered. He was still standing at the counter with a box of ingredients in front of him trying to figure out what to make. He wished he had grabbed his cookbook. That usually inspired him. The ability to summon weapons allows Danielle to take any weapon within her line of sight, barring complications such as super strength or another more powerful telumkinetic. She is limited to only two weapons at a time, though she only usually takes one unless she's going for a bow and arrows. They always land safely in her palm with no chances of impalement, even if she turns around or moves her hand. The only way for this to injure another person is if they step in to the path of an incoming weapon before it switches directions. Her definition of the word weapon can be pretty broad, as she can summon anything that she has the intent to use as a weapon or that she has seen used as a weapon before, such as a belt.

Dani only knew how to make one thing in the kitchen that actually counted as real food and that was spaghetti. That was why she tended to keep most of the ingredients on hand whenever she could, because who wouldn't want that all the time? Actually, there was a time in her life when that was almost all that she ate because of her foster family's tight living situation. It was still her favorite thing in the entire world, so when she heard someone was down in the kitchen already she decided it was time to go down and make some.
Hey, Xan, right? She greeted when she noticed someone else was in the room. Dani could only assume that was his name because of the chat, but it was still a safe bet. From her room, the only thing she had brought was her water bottle and the loaf of french bread she had bought in town when she stopped by the bakery the day before. What good was spaghetti without at least decently fresh garlic bread?

Gem has super human agility this allows him to have quicker than normal reactions to things. In battle it can aid him in reacting quickly to attack. He can also launch attacks quicker. His agility abilities have saved many plates and other items from falling on the floor and breaking. He can also use it to catch pretty girls from falling which is one of his favorite benefits.
Unfortunately it's more of a defensive power and so it's not as useful if he needs to do an offensive attack. Due to the fast speeds he can move at it can leave him open to making mistakes.

Boredom seemed to be running rampant around Ashford, people were antsy as the holidays were approaching but they still weren't quite there yet. Gemini left with nothing else to do decided to go exploring campus, he usually found something to do that or at least at girl to entertain him for a bit. He figured the best place to start was over at Page Hall, he didn't want to crowd Dani now that things were starting to get back to normal after all the drama but if he just happened to bump into her it wouldn't be that big of a deal right? Plus he could see if the Captain America jacket he had bought Rae was still chilling on the banister where she had left it or if someone had picked it up.
Stepping into Page Hall he noticed that the jacket wasn't there anymore and He shrugged, someone had made off with a pretty cool Captain America jacket then. He also spotted his girl in the kitchen with a guy he didn't know all too well. Gemini debated whether to go over there or not, On one hand it was the perfect opportunity to casually bump into Dani, on the other hand he didn't want to come off as a jealous boyfriend either. He finally decided that Dani should know him well enough and given their particular situation that he wasn't 'checking up on her' or anything. He strolled into the kitchen Hey Boo, Hey Dude.

Xan heard the voice and didn't quite recognize it. It sounded somewhat familiar but then again he probably heard her speak in passing. "Yeah. You must be d.rocke from the chat right?" He didn't have her name and didn't know what else to call her. He was about to say something else when another person walked in. "Hey there" He stated smiling. Maybe this wasn't going to be very boring after all.
"So up for some cooking? What do you guys want to eat?" He asked. If there was one thing that Xan loved it was cooking. That and listening to peoples comments about his cooking. New people were always fun that way. He never knew what to expect. | wearing THIS lovely outfit |

Dani smiled brightly at Gemini whenever he walked in, placing the items in her hand on the counter long enough to hug him tightly around the neck in excitement. Hey babe. I didn't know you were coming over or I would've said something. Maybe she should have just called him to find something exciting to do. Oh well, new friends and cooking sounded amazing too, so he would just have to tag along now. And yes, but call me Dani. And this loser is Gemini. She introduced before stepping away from her not-boyfriend.
Rummaging through the cabinets a little bit to make sure her stuff was still there, Dani almost cheered in triumph when everything turned up. I have the stuff for some decent spaghetti or lasagna, but that's up to you guys too. I'm up for anything as long as it isn't take out or barbecue. This town really needed a mcdonald's or something like that.

He hugged her back tightly, sticking his tongue out at Dani when she called him a loser. I was going splorin' I didn't really know I was coming over either. Gemini placed his hands on the counter using them to help himself slide up so that he was sitting on it. He tried to scoot back enough that his feet would dangle but unfortunately he was still too tall. He turned his attention in Xan's direction You're Xan right? sometimes it amazed him that he could remember most of the faces around campus but he hadn't managed to remember most of the girl's he slept with names. Gemini gave a shrug in response to Dani's comment about spaghetti I already ate, and even if I hadn't I wouldn't be able to decide anyway. I'm just here to grace you all with my presence./b]

"It is nice to meet you both, Dani, Gemini" He nodded in their general direction. He liked Dani's idea of some spaghetti. He made a decent sauce and it would help pas the time. "Spaghetti sound great, but we use my sauce if that's alright" Xan stated as he held up a mason jar of some homemade sauce he made just the other day. He had too much so stored the rest. He hoped he wasn't too pushy with it. Just he wasn't too crazy with the jar or caned sauces. "I also have some stuff to make meatballs to go with it" He offered. Sounds awesome. I used to make my own sauce a long time ago, but I rarely have the time anymore and it's just usually me. Some time soon she should try to cook for Gem, just the two of them. It occured to her that she hadn't done that before. They just usually left campus so that they could go on the everlasting search for something interesting. Yes, a date night was exactly what they needed...minus the date. What can I do to help or would I just be in your way? Dani asked, leaning against Gem and trying to stay as far out of Xander's way as possible.
