Raelynn has the ability to control and manipulate fire and heat. She is completely heat resistant. She can create fire, but it is easier, right now, for her to use fire that is already created to play with, hence the lighter. Raelynn is weak against cold weather, ice, and water which puts a damper on her power. She has to have sufficient oxygen to control fire and if, for some reason, she were suffocating, her power would instantly be harder to control.
She can use a small flame and, from that, create more fire far more easily than create fire from nothing. Raelynn can use her power as much as she wants, at least she will be able to after practicing at Ashford.

 Standing in the middle of the room, Ralynn still felt like she was completely and utterly alone. For Addison, her ability was not difficult to master. The nature of Innate Capability is just that, after all. Mastering things. By watching things, Addison can learn how to do almost anything. For example, Addison became a successful and talents gymnast in her final year of middle school just by watching the Olympics.
There are a few limitations in this ability, making it less perfect than it sounds. Addison has to SEE something happen, be it in real life or in a video. In real life, she is limited based on distance, lighting, clarity, etc. If she is watching something in a video, there are many more reasons why something may not register including but not limited to camera angles changing too quickly, bad quality of video, movements too fast, video cutting away for artistic reasons, etc.

 About Addi Addison is a bright, friendly, seemingly ditsy girl who loves to watch viral YouTube videos and dance like a crazy person. She doesn't particularly LOVE drinking and drug and all that, but she is fearless and doesn't shy away from much. There aren't very many people in this world that could rub her the wrong way but if you make it on her incredibly short shit list you better be ready because is a force to be reckoned with. Friends Addi is super talkative and doesn't really have that ability to tell whens he is going overboard with her talking. Although this can be annoying, and at times really awkward because she will just ramble on without really realizing that she is talking out loud. Anyway, if you can get passed her talking, Addison is actually super fun to be around and would make a pretty solid friend.  Enemies So Addison isn't a dark person. While she may not inspire people are draw them in like a moth to a flame, she doesn't really encourage hatred either. But as the daughter of a powerful family, it is natural that she will have met people that don't like her, especially considering that she is really smart, corrects her group members, is only twenty-one but is somehow a doctorate candidate.  Lovers Addison is cute and lovable, but has never been too super flirty. She likes to flirt, don't get me wrong, but it isn't with just anyone. They have to meet a certain criteria before she would even consider it at all. That isn't to say that she is overly picky, but...oh...you know what I mean. If you are a know-it-all jerk she isn't in to it. She'd rather argue with you than flirt with you. Good luck anyway though! I guess NOTHING is completely a lost cause.
