The few days since Becca had last been back to Page ball and she wasn't sure that she ever would have returned if it wasn't for classes and Rae. She had been gone long enough that a professor had sent her an email. If she missed one more day she would fail the semester, not that that really mattered anymore. Dropping out had crossed her mind more than once, but Liam had just applied and after all of this, she couldn't just leave him to do the college thing alone. Still, the likeliness of her actually staying in the room was low. Right now she was just there to pack a suitcase and grab her books so that she could write a paper for one of her classes and do her math homework. Hopefully Liam didn't mind her crashing at the apartment until she felt...like herself again. Opening the the door to her room, she sighed and threw her keys on the bed. This whole situation was so crazy that she couldn't stand herself. Her mother was dead, and no matter what Liam said she knew it was her fault. All he had done was cover up her mess. She had forced the water in to her mother's lungs and watched her gasp for air...and she had been relieved. Her own mother. Dead, forever. It left her numb to pretty much anything other than Liam. Maybe that's why she couldn't leave his place just yet, if she was being completely honest. lost in her thoughts, becca wasn't even sure whether she was alone in the room or not. She was too focused on pulling out her suitcase and shoving what ever clothes she could find in it as quickly as possible. It was too much for her to focus on anything else. Raelynn had been trying to sleep off her blood loss for the past few days, and since Becca hadn't been back it was more than easy to just sleep all day and ignore the world around her. But the noises in the room rustled her from her sleep. Raelynn pushed the mountain of blankets and pillows off of her and sat up, her hair resembling that of Anna from Frozen, "Bex?" Raelynn's voice was thick from sleep, "Where have you been?"

Rae? Oh...sorry, I didn't...I didn't know you were here. Spaced out I guess. becca stuttered out nervously, throwing a few more books in to the suitcase and closing it tightly. Now she just needed to grab her bag and a few essentials and she could go home to Liam. Yes, she was probably becoming a little codependent, but with recent events she needed her last little bit of stability. Besides that, she hadn't figured out what to tell Rae yet. Did she lie and say that their mom got away? Then people would want to involve the police. But if she was honest, there was no telling how her sister would react. Ive been with Liam and I'm heading back like, right now.

I know, Gem told me. I even called amy to make sure. Listen, Rae, I just can't. I need to be with Liam right now. She stuttered out, almost afraid to be too close to her twin. Rae wouldn't hurt her and she knew it, she was afraid that she would hurt Raelynn. What if she lost control and killed her trying to calm Rae down? She was dangerous. She needed to leave, now and get as far away from someone she loved right now. You don't...you don't understand. I'm sorry, I love you. Slamming her suitcase shut, she tried to grab the last of her books but stopped short when she saw that her twin was in the way.

I don't know. I think I'm just going to commute until we figure out what's going on, until then...I might drop out. I'm not sure yet. Sitting down on the edge of her bed impatiently, hoping that Rae would leave her alone long enough to finish packing. Still, she couldn't stand to look at Rae for too long. The guilt was eating her alive. Things have changed Rae...I can't be around people anymore. Someone is going to get hurt.

Becca shook her head as her hands started to shake. She could feel the water pulsing in the walls from the pipes, so much like she had at the falls when she...no, she couldn't dwell on Teresa. She'd lose it completely and Liam wasn't there to stop her right now. The blogger was right, but not about that. Yea, I mean...I know that I didn't stab you, but I did something worse and I can't... Great. Now she was starting to ramble and hyperventilate. She should've made Liam come with her or just sent him to get her stuff in general. Seeing Rae hadn't been her best plan ever.

Please don't come closer, please Rae. She pleaded as the water bottle next to her and the ones in the fridge erupted, causing her to scream. No, water was bad. She was bad. It had to go away. Now. I can't tell you...please don't make me say it. Ask Liam or I don't know maybe Gem saw it. Ask Gem. Just let me go please. How much water did it take to drown a full grown woman? She couldn't tell in any measurement accepted in the real world, but she had a feeling that it was just about the amount pooling on the floor in front of her as she raised her feet up on the bed to get away from it.

Something inside her snapped whenever Rae accused her of losing the control she had achieved over her powers ever since she had been with Liam. It didn't necessarily make her mad, but it did break her completely. Now she really needed to leave. I killed her Rae...you were dying. I saw it. You were bleeding out and she looked so proud of herself. I had to make her stop. Becca cried, pulling her legs up to her chest as the water spiked towards her. Who would have thought that a hydrokinetic could become hydrophobic in such a short time?

No one had ever accused Raelynn of being mild mannered, and this wasn't her time to turn over a new leave. She had to catch herself before she full on shouted at her twin, "Are you kidding me?" Shaking her head, Raelynn sat on the bed, "First of all, bitch needed to die. Had I been in a position to do it, I wouldn't have even flinched." Not that Raelynn was cold hearted, but bitch needed to die, "Second of all, you did kill her out of malice. You killed her to save me. You know if I had survived that, which I did, that she would only be back." Made sense, if someone believed that they were the only one who knew something bad was going to happen, then they would stop at nothing to prevent it, right? Right. A sudden thought occurred to Raelynn that made her flinch. What if Teresa could see the future. Shaking the thought from her head, Raelynn looked at Becca again, "You did what needed to be done." Great, now Rae was starting to sound like their mother.
