| It was just another cool autumn late afternoon at Ashford. The sky was clear and Rich decided to get some work down outside on the lawn. It library was always busy it seemed and he really didn't fell like hanging in his dorm. He didn't have a roommate yet so it was always off for the social creature that he was. Rich was used to being the big name on campus but because of his age and still being relative new here that wasn't the case. He figured that would change soon when his TA job would start and he became better known. Also it also seemed to depend on Raven somewhat since she seemed to know the bigger heads on campus.
Training was always interesting because of the nature of his ability. He also learned quickly. He could now better control project the power somewhat so he didn't have to touch the person to negate their ability. He looked around at the lawn. There really weren't too many people out and about and the few he did see were chatting with friends. That was the one thing he did miss. His best friend Virg. He hadn't spoken to him in a bit, well if you count a few weeks a long time. It was for him though. It was alright he figured he would call up his old buddy that evening. Right now he was more interesting in the sounds of someone approaching behind him. |

Gemini had spent the last few days hiding out in his dorm room which was peculiar for someone as social as he was. Dani and he still weren't talking and everyone else fell into the 'mutual' category which made him uncomfortable. Maybe he'd go into town and see Ryan, Jasper had just bought a motorcycle that they could all fix up together. He had his nose buried in his phone checking the scores of the latest Seahawks game, not paying attention to where he was going. Had he been anyone else he would have walked right into Rich. When he registered what was about he stepped quickly to the side without faltering or looking up, he turned around walking backwards a few steps to look at the person he almost slammed into Sorry. He wasn't sure they had noticed but he thought it was polite regardless. He stopped studying Rich's face. It was unusual that he didn't recognized someone, especially at Ashford, even if he didn't take as much interest in the guys as he did the girls. Nice shoes. He said nodding to Rich's black converse that matched his own.

I am Just a Man My voice will be heard today | He heard the voice before he noticed how easily he was able to avoid him. Rich was impressed at first but then wondered if it was just skill or if it had something to do with his power. "No worries man" Rich replied. He looked over to the guy. He wasn't bad looking but not quite his type. Rich never cared the gender of the person he was with. What matter was personality and well good looks. Rich noticed the other guys shoes when he commented on his own. He gave a half smile and chuckled. "Same to you, They are quite comfortable" Rich half joked. He did like the shoes, much more comfortable than the usual dress shoes he wore. "Richard, by the way. Rich for short" He said introducing himself. Introductions were always the polite thing to do and being that he hadn't been at the school for very long it seemed like the right thing to do in the situation. |

Yeah they're good for working out in. Though Gemini didn't mean the traditional working out, his normal boots were too heavy when he decided to go acrobatic, these were a lot easier. There were many rumors flying around and he wondered if this was the same Gemini he had heard of. "Pleasure is all mine" Rich figured that it was just a matter of time before people knew who he was just by his name or by Ravens brother. "Been here for little over a week now. Still trying to settle in rich admitted. He figured it was good to show some humbleness. He didn't have a hard time settling in. It was just getting his own sister to talk with him was rough. |

I am so used to knowing people and being well known that this is a little odd" Rich was very social and was still getting used to the not really knowing people and people not knowing of his or his family reputation. His best friend would be more known here than he was. Granted his family were the wallets of many large companies. There was very little that the Gaunt's didn't have their hand in. Now that Rich was fully apart of the SPB world he really noticed how much the family did.
"Thanks man, might take you up on that" He responded. If this was the Gemini he heard about it wouldn't be a bad idea to have Gem in his contacts. "University student. About a year or two to go really. Here mainly for the control training" It was the truth. The only reason he was here was because of his abilities and not for the school itself. |

Yeah I can imagine that's not cool. Well don't worry Calloway is a small town and before you know it, you won't be able to get your name out of anyone's mouth. He all knew well how much people talked in this town, especially with the whole gossip blog. He can come to just accept all the rumors spread about him and embrace them. There's no such thing as bad publicity right? Ohh Yeah my buddy is looking into doing that, He explodes. It's a problem. Gemini had lucked out and didn't have to worry so much controlling his power and learning how to use it effectively, which he didn't normally bother to do anyway. So, What's your magic trick.

Rich was intrigued with the notion of one of Gem's friends exploding. "As cool as that is. I can see where it would be a problem. My best mate would love him though. He likes to blow things up" Rich chuckled. It defiantly would get them into trouble at times but he didn't care.
"Negation. You know one of those abilities that you never notice till you are in contact with another SPB" Rich didn't mind his ability. If anything he really liked it. He had everything and his ability meant that no one with special abilities could get in his way. It was an odd thing to think of it that way but it was how he looked at things. "What about you?" |

I guess exploding is a bad example.. he kind of bursts into flames. but yeah no it can be a really big problem. Gemini had promised Ryan he'd help him work on it though Ryan had been less than thrilled with the idea and had been avoiding him. That must be really cool, I wouldn't mind that power. It might keep me from getting hurt... Gemini's lack of checking into the superpowers of the girls he slept with had left him with a few marks over the years, Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned? Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned with fire abilities. The thought reminded him that he needed to go find Raelynn soon they were going to have to have a talk he wasn't looking forward to, some power negation might be helpful. Rich's words brought his attention back to him Me? Oh. Agility... Nothing flashy.

He was thankful he had such a discrete ability. It worked perfectly with his job and position. Rich was curious when Gem mentioned getting hurt. "Getting hurt. Is it more fight or scorn related?" He asked. As a playboy himself he had is fair share of women and men show a particular disdain if he didn't call them back. Though many knew the deal going in. He could have whatever flings he wanted as long as the one he publicly dated benefited the family.
"Agility is cool. Good at sports then?" He asked. Rich was a jock. He did like nerdy things because of Virg but he was a Jock at heart and enjoyed a good sport. |

Gemini laughed at his question Can I say both? It used to be just the ladies, now it seems everyone else had wanted to join in on the effort. It seemed everyone was attempting to punch him these days though the key word would be 'attempting.' He gave a shrug You know honestly, I don't really play. I enjoy watching them, I'd probably enjoy playing but I'm not good at the whole 'team' thing. I put more of my efforts in gymnastics He felt silly saying so since most people associated gymnasts with women. Not even in the traditional sense either, just like parkour stuff those people who go running and do jumping, flipping, climbing all that from walls, trees buildings, whatever they can get their hands on really. Maybe that was his problem it had been awhile since he had put any real effort into a work out in awhile, choosing an assortment of other destructive behaviors to blow off steam instead. What about you? Play sports?

I am Just a Man My voice will be heard today | Rich figured that the whole Gossip column did get a couple things right. Which he did expect. "Yeah I can understand that one" He chuckled. Rich was listening to gem as he talked about not doing well in a team. Rich loved sports. He looked down at his phone that started to ring. He didn't know the number so he sent it to voicemail. Figuring they would leave a message.
"There is nothing wrong with gymnastic. I knew some guys from secondary school who were great at it" He didn't think gymnastics as a girly sport. It did talk a good deal of strength to do a good about of the moves. "Anything really. I love sports. Was on three teams in school and would play different ones on my spare times. Though two of the teams were more individual based" He explained. If he could he would join another team but he didn't know if Ashford offered anything. |

Well it keeps the six pack around so that's all that matters right? He shrugged it off as casual but Gemini thoroughly enjoyed all the flips and things that came along with it. He crossed his arms over his chest and shifted back and forth from foot to foot. He had a problem standing still even if he was talking to someone He was naturally just a fidgety person. What did you play? He took a second to examine Rich's build I'll guess you wrestled at some point?

I am Just a Man My voice will be heard today | "Keeping in shape is always a plus" Rich was maybe a little too stingy about his appearance. He had to be. First impressions were made withing five seconds of meeting someone. If he looked good and had a charming smile he was going to give off a good first impression. In the business world that could make or break a deal. "Yeah, school champions. Also Fencing and Polo, formally" He answered. Rich was proud of his sports titles. "Also enjoy american football and baseball. Play those for fun" He added. He might never been on a proper team but still didn't mind joining in every now and then. "So what do you do around here for fun?" He asked. Maybe Gem would have a better idea of anything that would be considered fun.
