ANIMAL MORPHING (WOLF) |
Ralph's powers are actually that of Animal Morphing but he has yet to actually fully morph so it seems like its mere mimicry. Currently his abilities mean he has heightened senses, sight, hearing and scent.He also is highly sensitive to emotions and feelings (you've guessed it, yes be can smell fear). His powers are in the process of development and he's soon going to do the full morph. He's obviously very hairy from the power and he's also got many Wolf like quirks for example he will fight to gain dominance and if you win he is submissive. He sleeps curled up and will chase a ball if thrown to him. Another note is that Ralph is a carnivore and he eats ten times more than any eighteen year old does, he won't eat vegetables willingly. Also he's not allowed to have raw meat even slightly under cooked because it risks making him feral. He's also stronger than most eighteen years old and fitter with sharper reflexes but he's fairly easy to defeat when necessary, tranquilizers work very well.

As soon as Ralph knew that Dani was at Raven's and had very little chance of leaving he headed that way. He wasn't exactly sure what went on between Gem and Dani but he wasn't really interested, one thing about Ralph most can rely on was his protective instincts. As soon as he heard that something happened between his two close friends that meant one ran away and the other had drunk herself senseless he couldn't help the concern that he felt, he couldn't do much about Gem accept track him down but it seemed Raelynn was on that anyway's. So his other concern was Dani, actually the concern he felt was more towards Dani. He had been aiming to get to Dani while she was still the dorm but she'd somehow managed to get out of the window while drunk. He had tried to convince her to get out of the cab and come back but that did very little and he definitely couldn't keep up with a car. He settled for waiting until she got where she was going and then going after her. Thank goodness Raven was there to pick her up after the cab driver left her at the hot springs.
Now secured at Raven's house thanks to Onyx, Dani wasn't about to go anywhere fast so Ralph made his way over to Raven's place. It took him a little while, since anyone with a car had either run away or was at Raven's. Once he was there he walked up to the front door and knocked, except it wasn't really knocking but slapping the door with open palms several times, Raven would know its him then. From what Ralph had heard Dani wasn't herself and despite what happened between them, Ralph felt bad for Dani.

THE SIMPLER THE COMMAND THE EASIER IT IS TO CONTROL THE ANIMALS. RAVEN PREFERS TO JUST ASK THE ANIMAL IF THEY ARE WILLING TO DO SOMETHING RATHER THAN CONTROL THEM. IF HER CONCENTRATION IS BROKEN SHE LOOSES CONTROL.

Somebody shine a light i'm frozen by the fear in me
Dani was passed out and Raven had manged to move the girl to the black couch in the living room so she wouldn't fall off the chair. She then proceeded upstairs to get some extra blankets. That was when she heard a loud bang at the door. There were only a coupe people who would be there. She walked down the stairs making sure to put the blanket on the couch for Dani before going to the door. She heard Onyx say something about a Wolf and she instantly knew what he was talking about. The snake had curled up with Dani to keep an eye on her. "You are so getting an extra treat for this" She said before opening the door.
She let Ralph inside making sure to motion to his shoes and the shoe rack before he went any further into the house. She heard the cats flee to the guest room behind her when Ralph arrived. She gave Ralph a weak smile as she walked back into the apartment. She Only had one of the kitchen lights on and a light in the living room. The light from the sliver moon shown through the high windows. She didn't want it too bright with Dani being so drunk. "So I figure you got the gist of what happened. Gem got with Rae, Dani found out stuff was said and then over drinking. Gem runs off and now here we are. Granted things are a little more complicated than that but it has been a long night" Raven was exhausted and on the edge of breaking herself. Drunk Dani's words still cut like knives in her mind and she was still shaken from everything but she wasn't about to show it. Right now Dani was the one to help, Raven would be fine.

The ability to summon weapons allows Danielle to take any weapon within her line of sight, barring complications such as super strength or another more powerful telumkinetic. She is limited to only two weapons at a time, though she only usually takes one unless she's going for a bow and arrows. They always land safely in her palm with no chances of impalement, even if she turns around or moves her hand. The only way for this to injure another person is if they step in to the path of an incoming weapon before it switches directions. Her definition of the word weapon can be pretty broad, as she can summon anything that she has the intent to use as a weapon or that she has seen used as a weapon before, such as a belt.

Dani was still sound asleep whenever she heard the knocking on the door. Her head lifted slightly, but it was too groggy to move. She thought she heard Ralph or maybe Raven, but it didn't matter at this point. She was off in lala land. Onyx...is scooby here? Wait ... I can't talk to animals. That's Raven. Good night onyx. she mumbled before rolling over to grab the blanket. Big guy....are you out there? Or am I just sleeping still. she yelled before passing out again.

Ralph smiled at Raven when she answered the door, his friend looked wrecked as if she was on the verge of a breakdown herself. As he stepped into Raven's house, Ralph toed of his shoes and placed them on the shoe rack. He respected Raven's wishes about the shoes, it was her house after all. It didn't surprise him that the cats bolted, he probably reeked of canine and the scent of the cats had sent some of his instincts crazy, but he was getting better at not acting on instinct. "Raven you look wrecked." he said slinging his arm over his friends shoulders and pulling her close for a moment, Raven's bright smile had dwindled and the weak one he received from his usually perky friend did worry him. The dimmed light of the apartment didn't bother him, his eyesight was pretty good in the dark. He nodded as Raven did a run through of events, of course it was more complicated than that but he wasn't interested in details really. "Don't worry about it, detail don't matter. I just want to make sure you are both okay." Ralph said with an encouraging smile to his friend.
He followed the familiar scent of Dani and he heard her question Onyx the Guard snake. "I'm here babe." he said, calling her babe had been a slip of the tounge. Although by the looks of Dani she might not have heard him, by the time Ralph answered her she was asleep again. He walked over to the couch where Raven had moved his friend to. He never known Dani to get like that over anyone, she was fiercely independent and for anyone to make her get this down was unlike her. "Dani?" Ralph asked gently. She may have been asleep or may not have but he'd never know unless he checked. "How much has she drunk? " he asked Raven.

She was grateful for the side hug from Ralph. She just shrugged when he mentioned how she looked. "I'll be fine, nothing a little sleep couldn't handle" She lied, it wasn't something she did often but right now the focus needed to be on Dani. If she wasn't so worn down she would have laughed or at least grinned at Dani trying to talk to Onyx. "More than I know. She was already very drunk when I arrived at the dorms" Raven wished she knew more but right now she really didn't have the answers. "Hey if you don't mind just watch over her for a bit. If she wakes up there is some tea on the coffee table for her. I have to run out and get a few things. Onyx will make sure she doesn't leave but he can't really do anything else. Feel free to make yourself at home" She hated to just get up and leave as soon as Ralph got there but she needed to cool off and also there were some things for the house if she was going to have guest that needed to be picked up. Raven grabbed her jacket waiting Ralph's response.

Ralph knew that it wasn't as simple as sleeping to make Raven feel better but he let it be for now. "If you say so but this conversation isn't done." Ralph said, he said gently, he meant the conversation about whether Raven was actually okay because he knew his friend better than that and she was definitely just putting on a brave face. Ralph looked over at Dani again, "It had to be quiet a lot, she's not a lightweight like me." He knew enough to know that Dani was used to alcohol and it took a fair amount before she passed out. He nodded as Raven mentioned needing to go out for a few things, he was pure sure his friend needed a break too. "Yeah go, take your time. Me and Onyx can handle this. Right bud?" Of course he didn't expect the snake to answer and if it did he couldn't understand it. He waved towards the door as a way of telling Raven to go, he wasn't chasing her out of her own home really but she did need to get out for a moment that much he could tell. Ralph sat down on the floor with his back up against the couch Dani was lying on, she was fast asleep and she probably wouldn't wake up any time soon.

Raven shuffled her keys in her hands as Ralph spoke. "Yeah sure" She really didn't think she would tell Ralph what was going on in her head right then. She made a mental note of what she needed to do. Go to the store to grab food. Catch a mouse for Onyx. Grab some Aspirin for Dani. The list was short but at this time of night she would have to go a little further for an open store. She knew Dani was in good hands so she didn't mind leaving her for a little while. Raven figured the thing that was going to take the longest would be the mouse hunt. And even then that didn't take long, she was just going to take her time to calm down. She had half a notion to text her brother, it was that bad. She hoped it didn't get to that point. With a wave Raven took off making sure to lock the door behind her.

Ralph gave Raven another encouraging smile before she left, he knew his friend wasn't all that good and he was worried for her but he wasn't going to push not yet anyway. Ralph heard her lock the door as remained sat down leaning against the sofa, waiting for Dani to wake up. He looked to Onyx, "Its just you and me then bud." Ralph said to the snake, which hissed at him. It seemed Onyx didn't like him very much although he had no idea why. Ralph was content just to wait for Dani to wake up, he was glad that at least one of his friends might be okay.

Now Dani was sure Ralph was there as she slipped back in to consciousness. Hey big guy...why you here? Is too cold for party. She was sobering up and she could feel it, but this wasn't going to be good. At all. Hangovers normally didn't bother her much and this one wasn't going to be an exception, but she wasn't numb anymore. Before she had been analyzing things in a drunken, detached state. Now she was starting to feel it. You shoulda gone with Raven. She needs a friend. Not me. I'm good.

Ralph was glad when Dani came around again, because Onyx as awesome as he was really didn't make good company. Maybe for Raven but definitely not for him. "I'm here for you." Ralph answered her question while he stood up. Dani was going to have a major hangover, but he knew that wasn't what was going to bother her. Everything that had happened would now come to her mind when its not intoxicated by alcohol, it would make everything a lot harder and whatever she'd said to Raven might hurt. "Here Raven made this for you." Ralph said walking over to the table and bringing the tea Raven had made over. "It might ease the hangover a little." he added as he squatted down so he was at her level. "Raven needs a break from everything, me included." Ralph said with a gentle smile, it might not have worked between him and Dani but he still loved the girl in front him to pieces.

I can handle the hangover. My second break up in too short of a time...not so much. Dani groaned, sitting up and putting her head between her knees to keep the room from spinning. Her chest hurt. This completely sucked. If anything, she didn't deserve to have ralph there. It was some weird mix between the best thing that could have happened and the worst. There was just no way he could make things better and that bothered her too much. Have they found him yet? Do you know?

Ralph felt terrible for Dani's sake, especially since he was responsible for the first break up. "It's got to hurt. Despite everything I was rooting for you and Gem." He sat up on the couch and put an arm around Dani's , he didn't know how she would react to his attempts at comforting her but it didn't stop him trying. He might've been upset about it at first but upon reflection Ralph came to see that Dani and Gem were good together or at least it seemed like it. "Raelynn is on her way back with him. I can punch him if you want but I think Fin wants first dibs." Ralph said only half joking, Dani's twin was seriously ticked off with Gem. He wouldn't really punch Gem, they were friends and this probably wouldn't change that.
