HER POWER TO TALK WITH ANIMALS IS MORE OF THE ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND THEM. ANIMALS SEEMS TO UNDERSTAND HUMAN SPEECH AND HER MIND CAN TRANSLATE ANIMAL SPEECH TO SOMETHING SHE CAN UNDERSTAND. IT JUST HAPPENS AUTOMATICALLY AND SHE CAN'T EXACTLY CUT IT OFF BUT JUST LIKE TALKING WITH A PERSON SHE HAS TO BE WITHIN EARSHOT TO UNDERSTAND THE CREATURES. CONTROLLING IS A BIT DIFFERENT. IT ISN'T A SPOKEN COMMAND IT IS MORE OF A MENTAL ONE. IT TAKES TOTAL CONCENTRATION AND SHE CAN'T CONTROL AN ANIMAL FOR MORE THAN AN HOUR, NOT THAT SHE WANTS TO. ANY LONGER AND IT CAUSES MASSIVE HEADACHES, NOSE BLEEDS AND IN SOME CASES SHE WILL PASS OUT BUT THAT DOESN'T HAPPEN TILL THE TWO HOUR MARK. THE SIMPLER THE COMMAND THE EASIER IT IS TO CONTROL THE ANIMALS. RAVEN PREFERS TO JUST ASK THE ANIMAL IF THEY ARE WILLING TO DO SOMETHING RATHER THAN CONTROL THEM. IF HER CONCENTRATION IS BROKEN SHE LOOSES CONTROL.

Worry, concern some fear. No matter how she looked at it Raven was not going into the situation as calm as she usually was. She had been on the Calloway chat and rushed to the dorms with her main concern being her roommate. She stood outside room 201 and took a deep breath as she knocked on the door. She didn't know what to expect but she wasn't going to turn back now. She had to make sure Dani was alright and then have to worry about what happened to Gem. Just when she thought things were going smoothly something else happens and things are thrown into a whirlpool of chaos. And here she stood ready to take another dive in. It would be easy to just walk away, or not come at all. She was fine back at the apartment reading with Onyx and now her heat was racing as she stood at the door. She shook her head reminding herself that this was her friend and she would do anything for her. This was her family and she needed to make sure it didn't break apart like everything else. "Dani, Rae open up" She stated, making sure her voice was even.

Raelynn has the ability to control and manipulate fire and heat. She is completely heat resistant. She can create fire, but it is easier, right now, for her to use fire that is already created to play with, hence the lighter. Raelynn is weak against cold weather, ice, and water which puts a damper on her power. She has to have sufficient oxygen to control fire and if, for some reason, she were suffocating, her power would instantly be harder to control.
She can use a small flame and, from that, create more fire far more easily than create fire from nothing. Raelynn can use her power as much as she wants, at least she will be able to after practicing at Ashford.

With her phone about two inches from her face, Raelynn pressed each letter carefully with one finger, trying to spell everything perfectly. Behind her she could hear Dani getting into the liquor cabinet in the corner and she didn't a single thing to stop her. When the message flashed across her screen, she grinned and looked up, "Raven's here!" She cried, jumping up and stumbling across the room to open the door, "Ravems!" Raelynn called, flinging herself into Raven's arms and hugging her tightly, "Finally! Shots!" |

The ability to summon weapons allows Danielle to take any weapon within her line of sight, barring complications such as super strength or another more powerful telumkinetic. She is limited to only two weapons at a time, though she only usually takes one unless she's going for a bow and arrows. They always land safely in her palm with no chances of impalement, even if she turns around or moves her hand. The only way for this to injure another person is if they step in to the path of an incoming weapon before it switches directions. Her definition of the word weapon can be pretty broad, as she can summon anything that she has the intent to use as a weapon or that she has seen used as a weapon before, such as a belt.

RAAAABEENDani slurred, stumbling towards her roommate with a new bottle of liquor in hand. Shots time. You, me, and...JOSE! YEs. I have Jose. You like, right? slamming the bottle down hard on the table, she lined up the glasses to set up the shots, but fell over laughing when the liquid poured all over the floor. Raeeevveeen...your sober. YOU POUR...until you can't. time for a real party boo boo. calls my brother. everyone. She really did intend to stand up, but the floor was so soft and smelled like tequila, so why not stay for a while?

This first thing she noticed was the smell. The two girls were obviously drunk and just the scent was causing her head to hurt. She did her best not to fall over when greeted by Rae. There was a fake smiled on her face as she watch Dani stumble. "Ok we can do shots but I get to pour" She said as she walked over to Dani and took the bottle from the table. She then shook her head. "So what happened" She asked knowing that she didn't have to treed lightly, "The more I know the more you get" She added the incentive hoping she could get some information from them.

He doesn love me. Never did. i jus keep the bed warm and cuddles... Stealing one of the shots from Raven, Dani retreated towards the bathroom to keep anyone from being able to use the laptop. For some reason, being logged in as becca amused her greatly. Too bad that doofus liam was with her or she could have some real fun. He loves rae...thinks i stupid. Im not. I knows all the time. hes all for rae.

This wasn't something that Raven could do on her own. She was going to try though. She sealed the bottle and put her hands on her hips trying to figure out what to say. "Ok so both of you think he loves the other. Did it ever occur that he might love both of you. Did anyone bother to hear him out. I am not saying what he did was right but this is pathetic" Raven lost the smile and was a lot more stern than she meant to be but this was going to far. "Rae, Dani think about this please" She just wanted them to be reasonable which was asking for a lot considering.

Rolling her eyes, Raelynn sat on the bed and sighed, "It's not like any of this matters anyway. I'm over it. I was being silly, but I remember now that people are dumb and not worth the energy of emotion." She smiled blankly at Raven, "Dani should probably find a bed. Mind taking her home? I'm tired of this." Raelynn could feel herself cracking a little and needed to mend the cracks in her psyche before she couldn't keep her mask up anymore. |

Standing up, she grabbed Becca's lap top off of the floor and stumbled towards the bathroom door. You guys can thinks about it now. Gemini...he loves Rae. He always has...and she loves him tooo. Raven was feeling defeated. She was shaking and trying to stay calm. She wanted to say something to Dani before she headed into the bathroom. She sighed and this time looked Rae directly in the eyes. She knew that smile, that fake smile, the denial. Her words cut deeper than they should. "I don't know you well Rae but I know Dani and even if she is drunk you should listen. Cut the fake crap that smile is not fooling me" Raven was close to raising her voice. "I should know"
