Virgil has money and his clothes give testmant to that, while he might not dress 'flashy' he does wear expensive brand names and well fitting clothes. He is usually clean shaven and won't set foot outside unless he looks presentable. Sometimes wears glasses instead of his contacts.

PERSONALITY	Virgil here is incredibley clever and while both his parents are geniuses in their own right, Virgil isn't. He's never struggled with any subject at school though because his ability to learn and his desire to learn means he's forever, researching and reading about a subject. While he fits the stereotype of a geek, with his love for science, science fiction, chemistry and research he isn't your typical stereotype Geek. He isn't withdrawn or shy, he loves people and has been well trained in the art of being social and loves to go out and have a drink with his friends. He loves to just relax, drink beer and play pool. Also unlike a lot of geeks, Virgil is very rarely single, he knows how to whoo a lady and it usually works its just the commitment he has a problem with. His parents have warned him about his flirting and not settling down, Virgil thinks they are concerned about what illegitimate Grandkids would do to their image. He is a walking encyclopedia, his ability to retain information is incredible, but not super-human so don't be mad when he forgets your name. He's a sweet guy all around and loves to help people and create things to help people. Virgil is incredibley cocky and smartmouthed and loves to tease and wind people up, he is a bundle of brains, mischeif and energy which is never fun for anyone but Virg. He is absolutely loaded and he isn't afraid to show it. He is very immature and doesn't actually care what other think of him, he is very independent and unbelievably self- assured, and yes he thinks he's invincible but don't all twenty-one year olds.

HISTORY

You may have seen the name Armatige on the Power Negation devices at Ashford. Yes they were designed and developed by none other than Henry Armatige, the son of an English Duke who married a beautiful young American woman named Mary who was also an SPB. The two married young with dreams of starting a family. At only 18, the young couples dreams were smashed as Mary was told she'd never have children because of the power, which involved the control of Radiation. With this in mind the couple decided to move forward with their careers and both became experts in their fields. Henry Armatige was highly interested in the study of SPB's and how he could help them better control their powers or even for the sake of his dear wife get rid of them. This is how Henry Armatige formed Armatige industry's, the company grew fast and strong becoming the forefront of all technology and Henry was only 21. That was largely due to a certain Mr Richard Gaunt, who he met at Socialite event that he and his wife attended. The men helped each other in business matters, Henry's company providing Richard's with the best tech money could buy. With the funding from Richard's company Henry along with his wife went on to design, develop and manufacture one of his greatest accomplishments the Power Negation Device. It was crude at first but now its one of the most advanced pieces of Bio-Tech in history. Two years later, Richard and his Wife announced that they were expecting a baby and while both Henry and his wife were happy for Richard, it hurt just a little knowing Henry would have no heir to pass his fortune onto and noone to carry the title of Earl. It's not hard to imagine the surprise Henry got when he came home one day to find his wife in tears, immediately he panicked but it was quickly replaced with Elation when she announced that she was expecting their first and only child. That is why they always considered him a 'miracle child'. Nine months later the heir to the Armatige estate was born, they named him Virgil after his Grandfather the Duke of York. Little Virgil was born a few months after little RICHARD SALAZ GAUNT IV. While they were still young the two spent a lot of time together, although the stark differences between the boys and their families were already seen then. While Rich was with his father on business as young as five Virgil spent a lot of time running around the house, building Lego's and screaming at the top of his little lungs for no reason. He also loved tinkering and very often ran off with his Dad's tools only to be grounded later. Virgil is dyslexic but ever since he was little he loved to read, or listen to stories and NonFiction books being read. As he got older his parents found he knack for getting into trouble. He was incredibley mouthy from a very young age and one day he went to play at Rich's, he ended up talking to Raven. Rich and Raven's mother disliked her own daughter for some reason and speaking to Henry Armatige's nine year old son wasn't allowed. This resulted in Virgil using some less than favorable words while yelling at Mrs Gaunt. Who was of course shocked at his behavior, his father came to fetch him and told Mrs Gaunt that he'd deal with Virgil. He wasn't allowed to go to science club for three weeks after that. The Guants and his partners remained good friends and very often both families ended up at various social events in which Virgil would drag Rich into doing naughty. Virgil blew up various thing on many different occasions, usually it's cake but he's blown up a watermelon, a door knob, a teddy bear and a few other things usually at these events that the young man found horribly boring. Rich's parents were less than impressed and told his father that he was failing at raising a son before comparing the two very different boys. The comparison never effected the boys, Virgil was happy being the class clown, Geek kid that was absolutely loaded and blew thing up while his friend seemed happy to become a business man. His father however was affected and decided that Mrs Gaunts tough love approach was the way forward with Virgil. He was grounded, had toys taken off him and although never abused he did get a good smack upside the head or when necessary his father would wallop his backside. As Virgil reached his teen years he went from science experiments that involved blowing things up to chasing skirts which was even less acceptable to both his own parents and the Gaunts. Not that he cared about the Gaunts opinions of him. Rich and Virg went to a boarding school in England together, both doing very different things. Virgil was the Geek, he spent his days hiding out in the Library or in class while Rich was the sporty type. Virgil has some troubles with bullies but Rich quickly took care of them and it didn't continue. Despite these differences the boys remained good friends both graduated at the top of their class. Of course during this time Virgil's powers had developed but he had no idea of their existence because his power generally only affects SPB's. At the age of eighteen Virgil decided that Aerospace and intergalactic travel was the way forward so he started University studying these fields while working for his Dad. With all his parent's work on SPB's and the SPB gene, he couldn't be more excited when he found out that his best friend was also an SPB. He had the ability to take away others abilities, he had what his Mother wanted but within him. Rich leaving for Ashford had Virgil a little upset but he knew why his friend had to go, so he threw his friend the biggest leaving party ever. He stayed in contact with his friend as well. It was while with his parents that he discovered his own powers. His father was testing a new Negation Device on a telekinetic and it didn't seem to be working, as soon as Virgil left the room it worked. Virgil was unknowingly increasing the Telekinetic's ability to the point where the Negation Device wasn't strong enough to handle it. His father was astonished but wasn't surprised at all, his wife was an SPB after all. Virgil decided that he wanted to continue his studies at Ashford, that way he could be with his best friend and help his father test out any design's. It all worked out pretty well for him and he moved to Ashford a few days ago, Rich nor Raven have any idea he's here and wants to surprise them.

POWER	Power Augmentation
POWER DESCRIPTION	Virgil's power means he can strengthen or weaken anyone's power. He doesn't have to touch them but has to fairly close to them for it work. Also it doesn't have an off switch so if he's stood next to you, your powers might either be weaker or unbelievably strong. Unfortunately the side affects are headache's, nosebleeds, nightmares and depending on who's powers he's changing the side affects of the powers sometimes fall onto him. If he's been near a pyrokinetic he feels way to hot for the next few hours. Augmention is also helpful in training to give the trainers and students an idea of what the student is capable of with full control. He's usually wearing some sort of device created by his father though so it's not to say his power is always working.
