Gem has super human agility this allows him to have quicker than normal reactions to things. In battle it can aid him in reacting quickly to attack. He can also launch attacks quicker. His agility abilities have saved many plates and other items from falling on the floor and breaking. He can also use it to catch pretty girls from falling which is one of his favorite benefits.
Unfortunately it's more of a defensive power and so it's not as useful if he needs to do an offensive attack. Due to the fast speeds he can move at it can leave him open to making mistakes.

Even the small kiss on the cheek sent chills through him. Knock it the hell off He got to his feet quickly when He saw she was going to leave. He preferred the way She had walked away from him on this lawn much the last time than now. It's Dani.. He blurted out, he wasn't sure if she cared that he was seeing someone or who it was. It makes sense.. You know? Like We make sense. and they had until Raelynn was standing in front of him and now none of it made sense. He only had feelings for Dani because of their history that's why she made sense or at least that's what he tried to convince himself.

Raelynn has the ability to control and manipulate fire and heat. She is completely heat resistant. She can create fire, but it is easier, right now, for her to use fire that is already created to play with, hence the lighter. Raelynn is weak against cold weather, ice, and water which puts a damper on her power. She has to have sufficient oxygen to control fire and if, for some reason, she were suffocating, her power would instantly be harder to control.
She can use a small flame and, from that, create more fire far more easily than create fire from nothing. Raelynn can use her power as much as she wants, at least she will be able to after practicing at Ashford.

Hearing that it was Dani made the feeling of loss that much worse. When it was a mystery girl, it was easy to pretend she was ugly, or that they were mismatched. But now she could see them standing together in her mind and the vision made her feel sick.
And there is was. In that moment, Raelynn realized how deep her feelings for this stupid idiot ran. It was almost like she could hear the audible sound of her heart cracking and she faked and smile, "Oh.." She said in a voice that sounded more high pitched than her usual voice, "How nice that you make sense." She nodded slowly, thanking whatever entity there was above that Gemini didn't have ESP or Empathy or something pesky like that.
Raelynn took a few steps backward, trying to run away from the conversation, "Yeah..Well...I'm gunna go. Early flight to Nevada in the morning." Why on earth did she say that? She wasn't going anywhere in the morning. It was official. Raelynn was completely losing it. |

When she mentioned leaving and not only leaving the lawn but leaving the state he felt the panic start to set in. What if he never talked to her again? What if he never saw her? It's not like Becca and Him were like best friends.He wasn't sure if his actions were driven by the panic to want to make her stay, that maybe if he gave her what he assumed she wanted that she'd stay or if they were out of his pure desire to do so. He quickly closed the gap between them his arms wrapping around her waist pulling her against him pressing his lips against hers. Oh bad idea. Such a bad idea. bad.bad.bad. but so good

Shock. Complete shock. She melted into his arms, unable to pull away. Suddenly, her mind was Dani's face. Now, Raelynn didn't know her very well, but she knew her well enough that this felt wrong. So, so, wrong. She put her hands on his chest, fighting against herself. She fisted her hands in his shirt and pushed as hard as she could, stepping away from him a few paces backwards.
Her blue eyes were wide and tears were streaming down her face. She opened her mouth to say something but no words came out so instead she turned around and started to sprint away, in no particular direction. Not ten yards away from him, she tripped over a root and skidded across a sidewalk. Her knees had large, bloody scraped on them and she sat on the sidewalk, staring at the drops of red blood on the cement next to her. She realized, for some reason, that she had left her phone in the grass by Gemini and was weighing the options of going back to get it and leaving it behind. |

He couldn't help but feel the sting of hurt when She pulled away and turned and ran with tears in her eyes. It wasn't normal for him to judge a situation wrong but Raelynn made him feel all backwards and unsure of himself which drove him nuts. He winced when he saw her trip. He could either walk away and leave her to deal with her mess or he could go check on her. He wanted to make sure she was okay but at the same time she very obviously didn't want to be around him.
He noticed her cell phone in the grass which he picked up and walked over to her kneeling down next to her. I'm sorry. He voice wasn't cold but it wasn't overly friendly either. He gently reached out touching the area around her so that he could move it to get better look at her scrape. Are you okay..? He felt stupid asking, of course she wasn't okay She was crying and her leg was bleeding.

Raelynn was shaking when he came closer to her. A part of her wanted him to walk away because if he got too close...oops. He was leaning in to look at her knee. She looked up at him with teary eyes and leaned the few inches to close the distance between them again, her lips pressed hard against his. She put her hands in his hair and lean so that she had better access to the kiss. When she pulled away, she glared at him and took her phone from his hand, "I hate you." Her voice was bitter and Raelynn looked down, leaning her forehead against his shoulder. |

The kissed surprised him though it only lasted long enough for him to realize what happened, feel his stomach do a flip flop before she pulled away. He wanted to lean in and kiss her again he didn't care if they made out on the lawn where everyone could see but her words kept him from pursing another kiss. The bitterness in her voice stung and he couldn't help but feel confused by her actions in the span of a few minutes She had kissed him back, pushed him away, fell, kissed him again and now she was telling him She hated him. He blinked a couple of times at her he wasn't sure how to handle the situation in front of him, being Gemini he decided humor was always the best Well, you can tell me you hate me all you want as long as you pull my hair when you do it. He tried to keep his face serious but he could help the silly mischievous smile the spread across it and he gave her a wink.

His dorm wasn't that far away and he contemplated begging her to come back to it with him so he could find out what other things she liked. He shook his head smiling to himself. Aurora's words were in his head, he'd gone through a lot of lengths to prove Dani wouldn't just get cast aside for another girl, even if Rae herself wasn't just another girl.He offered her his hand to help her to her feet Alright 50 Shades of Rae, you should let me buy you dinner since my date cancelled on me. his hands on her felt like fire, and of anyone at this school Raelynn probably knew the feeling of fire better than any of them. She smiled, taking his hand and letting him pull her off the ground, "Okay..." She sighed, thinking of Dani. It took all of her will power and to take a step away so they weren't standing quite so close, "But dinner...only..." She didn't sound as firm in her conviction as she had wanted to. Raelynn knew that spending any more time with him tonight was dangerous. And honestly it wouldn't have bothered her so much if she didn't know the girl he was dating. It had never bothered her before, but this whole thing was uncharted territory. Just as she considered changing her mind and running back to Becca to cry, she felt a trickle of blood run down her leg, "Maybe I should clean up my leg first?" |

He was in a constant battle with himself to want to push her away and to do everything in his power to keep her from leaving.His eyes lit up when She said she'd go to dinner with him, at least they'd be in public though not that that had ever stopped him before. He glanced down at the blood on her leg Yeah of course.. Uhm. I can try and find a first aid kit or I can help you back to your dorm. He wasn't sure how serious the wound was because the blood, it might have looked worse than what it was or it might really be that bad. Where do you want to get food? Pizza? BBQ? Whatever you want it's yours.

She couldn't tell what exactly prompted her sudden realization, or if the fog in her mind was finally floating away, but Raelynn looked at the blood running down her leg and back to her cell phone, a purple and orange Guardians of the Galaxy background cutting through the darkness of the poorly lit Zellner Lawn. Her free hand fell from Gemini's hair and she took another step back, determined not to look at him again until she had said what she needed to say."I actually just remembered..." She started casually, "I can't go tonight. I promised Bex and I'm leaving in the morning so...I can't bail on my sister." She spun around and started running again, this time toward the door. She hopped over the root and gave it a final glare before disappearing around the corner of a tall brick building she thought might be the Library. Raelynn slowed down for a moment, leaning against the rough brick surface of the Denwalt building to catch her breathe, "Holy shit..." She groaned, determined to reach her dorm before she completely broke down. AND IF YOU GIVE ME WHAT I WANT
