Raelynn has the ability to control and manipulate fire and heat. She is completely heat resistant. She can create fire, but it is easier, right now, for her to use fire that is already created to play with, hence the lighter. Raelynn is weak against cold weather, ice, and water which puts a damper on her power. She has to have sufficient oxygen to control fire and if, for some reason, she were suffocating, her power would instantly be harder to control.
She can use a small flame and, from that, create more fire far more easily than create fire from nothing. Raelynn can use her power as much as she wants, at least she will be able to after practicing at Ashford.

There were many thing that Raelynn didn't know. And the worst part was that she had no clue she didn't know them. The feeling of being a family with someone. The feeling of loving someone. The feeling of missing someone you haven't seen in a while. All of these had been foreign to her until she had moved to Vegas a month and a half ago. She tapped her foot impatiently on the floor of the towncar as in finally pulled in at Ashford Academy. Any other time in her life, Raelynn would have loved Vegas, but the only thing she wanted to do now was see her sister.
Before the car was even in park, she jumped out of the back of it and sprinted into the building. The large driver climbed out and followed after her carrying her bags. And then she was there, Room 201. She pushed the door open and grinned as she found her twin, "Bex!" She yelled, smiling bigger than she ever had before in her entire life, throwing herself on top of the identical girl. |

No one had really been in the room other than Aurora since Raelynn left. Everything on her side was just how she left it, though Becca had broken down at some point and made her twin's bed. It had been a long month and a half. The sound of the door opening startled Becca from the book she had been reading, but not as much as the blonde blur that jumped on her a few seconds later. Rae. Oh my god. Oh my god it's actually you. Rae! She squealed, throwing her book to the side so she could hug her twin tightly. I mean I wanted you back but OMG I didn't think you'd actually come. This was the best thing that had happned to her in weeks. It was nice to get away from all the chaos and have her twin back home.

Raelynn was giggling like a school girl. Something she never, ever did. Unless he was desperately drunk. She snuggled her face into her sister's hair and grinned, "I missed you too much. I didn't even know I could miss someone that much..." She finally settled down enough to wave off the driver who left the doorway full of her black suitcases. SHe sighed and laid on the bed next to her sister, "So how is school? How are you? How is life in general? Gemini? How is the restaurant?" She tried to slip the question about Gemini in there stealthily so Bex wouldn't think much of it... |

I missed you too. Becca smiled, trying to blink away the happy tears in her eyes as she scooted back a little bit so Rae could sit on the bed without falling off. This was awesome and she couldn't even begin to describe how she felt. Gem is...Gem. I'll leave him at that. You'll have to go talk to him about it. No way she was touching that subject with a ten foot pole. Not after everything that had happened recently. His sea witch comment was still a little too fresh. Everything else is alright. School is tough, life is pretty okay, better now that you are here. We should go get lunch later, then you can see the restaurant for yourself. Or they could just stay in the room. She didn't want to share her twin yet, so what if she was being selfish?

She was whining like a toddler, and Bex was the only person she could really do that with, "Or, like, How to Train you Dragon? Or anything?" She gave her twin a pouty face. |

Becca giggled and rolled her eyes at her twin before standing up to grab Tangled off of the shelf by her bed. The large TV in the middle of the room was a newer, but welcome, addition. Perfect for movie days. Your in luck, because I'd rather or go out either. Might as well not run in to anyone...angry. I think we'll go with that The Liam situation had her stressed out still because of the openness of it. They weren't together but they hadn't separated either. It was weird. Besides, you are mine for at least the next day. Your little friends can have you back tomorrow.
