Seth has the ability to crawl up walls and other things. He's your regular real life Spiderman. His powers can benefit him in the element of surprise and also aid in avoiding attacks. It allows him to move quickly from building to building as long as the jump isn't too far apart. It's also beneficial in getting those top shelf items. One of the downfalls is that it isn't very helpful when he needs to be on the offense. Also Seth isn't always sure footed and has been known to fall and break a few bones. Luckily there isn't much Seth has to do to keep his power in check

And Starting Conversation" He bit his lip when said she didn't want to talk about it, he wasn't upset it was pretty common but he also didn't want to upset her either. If it were only that easy. He mumbled staring out at the lake. He grabbed the sketch pad that he had sitting next to him and reached in his backpack pulling out an assortment of pencils, sifting through them until he found one that he wanted. He took another sip of his drink before starting to make little lines on the paper. When I was ten or eleven, I can't remember my mom ran off with some guy she met on vacation. She up and left, came home packed a suit case told my dad she was leaving. I think she lives in Florida now, or New York. It didn't really matter. She wasn't a very warm person to begin with. She was a party girl, She'd come home drunk all the time she didn't want us touching her, we had my dad for awhile until He drank himself into a stupor. He wasn't quite sure what had prompted him to tell Raven about his childhood maybe to share something a little bit more personal about himself, or maybe because it was nice to talk to someone besides Aurora. He put his pencil down for a minute while stretched out his fingers. I hope that's not awkward. I figured I'd just throw it out there. Now you know my deep dark past. He hoped he hadn't made Raven feel awkward by telling her, he wasn't trying to put a damper on the evening. ANY LONGER AND IT CAUSES MASSIVE HEADACHES, NOSE BLEEDS AND IN SOME CASES SHE WILL PASS OUT BUT THAT DOESN'T HAPPEN TILL THE TWO HOUR MARK. THE SIMPLER THE COMMAND THE EASIER IT IS TO CONTROL THE ANIMALS. RAVEN PREFERS TO JUST ASK THE ANIMAL IF THEY ARE WILLING TO DO SOMETHING RATHER THAN CONTROL THEM. Watching him draw was fascinating. She kind of enjoyed watching him. His movements were almost elegant in a sense. She figured it was the same way when people liked to hear her read out loud. She was a little shocked when he started telling his story. She knew most people here at the school had rough past in one form or another. His story was sad but she noticed he didn't seem overly upset about the whole thing. She wished she still wasn't upset about her family but she figured she wasn't going to be able to look at it in a more apathetic manor. She shook her head when he finished speaking. "No not at all, thank you for telling me" She was always empathetic towards people who had a troublesome past. Raven was just glad that he felt comfortable sharing it with her. She couldn't share hers yet. She didn't want to ruin the evening by getting upset. "So what are you working on?" She asked changing the subject to something more fun.

And Starting Conversation" While he had been telling his story had been occasionally looking up at the scene in front of him. It was always easier for him to talk when he was drawing, it always seemed less awkward. He stared down at the sketch pad of a drawing of the scene in front of them. He scrunched his face up scowling at it before ripping it out of the notebook, crumpling it up and shoving the paper ball in his backpack, he'd recycle that later. He took another drink, maybe if he got enough alcohol in his system he'd draw better, or at least think he drew better. I don't know if this.. He motioned to the scene in front of them Would actually look good in a sketch. He should have brought some colored pencils but he had forgotten in his haste out the door. It was a little sad to watch him thrown the image he was working on away. She looked around at the scenery he was gesturing at just smiling. "That's the beauty of art right. It is all interpretation, a vision of how you see things. So just draw what inspires you and I am sure it will be beautiful" She didn't want him to feel overwhelmed with the drawing nor did she want to see him give up either. When he offered she shook her head and put her hand up. "Oh no, I wouldn't even know where to start" She smiled and put her hands back down. She decided to make a somewhat bold move. She moved so she was closer to him and could watch him work. "Maybe you could show me" She asked with a playful look in her eyes. She leaned over closer just inches from him to look at the pad of paper. She could feel her cheeks burning slightly and knew the wine had nothing to do with it. Raven hoped she wasn't overstepping any line, but this was a date right? "So what is the first step" She asked.

Her face flushed when he told her to take the pencil. She hesitated before placing her hand gingerly on the pencil. It felt oddly nice being so close to him. She didn't mind the smokey scent and being close did help keep away the slight chill. She was wondering what next, how was she going to learn of all she had to do was just hold a writing utensil. But she didn't worry to much. She trusted Seth, oddly enough. "So what next?" She asked.

And Starting Conversation" He reached out positioning his hand around hers gently so that he could guide it. The connection of their hands made his cheeks turn instantly red. So um... He started to stutter staring down at their hands and the sketch pad in front of them. We'll start off with something simple.. He started moving his hand which guided hers across the paper. Luckily he had the picture to focus on instead of the softness of her hand or how close she was to him. You want to make sure you don't grip it too tightly, like you're not trying to choke out the pencil. His statement was more for educational purposes than to actually correct her on anything She was doing, it didn't seem like she was gripping the pencil. He continued to glide her hand across the paper. Then we'll add some shading here... He moved her hand to color in a few select spots His hand lingered on hers well after he had decided the drawing was complete. And There you go...Your first drawing. He said with a small shy small looking down at the sketch pad that had a drawing of Garfield the Cat on it now. It's a master piece. His smile turned from shy to goofy. Raven was memorized by the motion of the pencil. His hand on her guiding each stroke was soothing and had a kind of trance like vibe to it. She listened to what he was saying but was more focused on the paper than the words themselves. She was almost disappointed when the drawing was done. She hadn't been paying attention to what it was a drawing of then when Seth mentioned the name she chuckled. "Well I had a wonderful teacher" She teased. "I will have to frame this" She was joking, but part of her was a little serious. Raven turned her head so she was looking at Seth. "You know the goofy smile suits you better" She stated shyly.

He took a deep breath before leaning in a placing a soft kiss against her lips, his hand still on hers and the pencil. He wished that the kiss was more peaceful but there was nothing but panic inside his head hoping he'd read the situation right, because if not he might be tempted to drown himself in the lake. She was about to turn and sign the paper when Seth leaned in and kissed her. She could feel her face grow hot. As if by instinct she placed her free hand gently on the side of his face and kissed him back. He had perfect timing and it made the whole evening worth it. All the work in getting everything together and this was the highlight. She pulled away blushing really badly as she bit her lower lip slightly. She was very nervous but overly happy at the same time. This was a different feeling, one she wasn't quite accustomed to but one she believed she could get used to. "So sign it right" She stated nervously.

Her mind was still on the kiss. Or more so she didn't know what to think. Her face was still warm and flushed as she signed the paper. She had a very elegant signature. Some of the absurd lessons she had to take part in as a child did come in handy at the most random situations. Penmanship was one of them. She did very well with script that it just stuck with her. "Alright, your turn to sign. It was a group effort" She stated as she placed the pencil back in his hand. She really didn't know what else to say or do. This was all still very new and she didn't want to ruin the moment.

HER POWER TO TALK WITH ANIMALS IS MORE OF THE ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND THEM. ANIMALS SEEMS TO UNDERSTAND HUMAN SPEECH AND HER MIND CAN TRANSLATE ANIMAL SPEECH TO SOMETHING SHE CAN UNDERSTAND. IT JUST HAPPENS AUTOMATICALLY AND SHE CAN'T EXACTLY CUT IT OFF BUT JUST LIKE TALKING WITH A PERSON SHE HAS TO BE WITHIN EARSHOT TO UNDERSTAND THE CREATURES. SHE CAN GET VERY CONFUSED ON WHO SHE IS TALKING WITH OR WHERE A CONVERSATION IS COMING FROM IF SHE HAPPENS TO BE IN EARSHOT OF SOME ANIMAL.
CONTROLLING IS A BIT DIFFERENT. IT ISN'T A SPOKEN COMMAND IT IS MORE OF A MENTAL ONE. IT TAKES TOTAL CONCENTRATION AND SHE CAN'T CONTROL AN ANIMAL FOR MORE THAN AN HOUR, NOT THAT SHE WANTS TO. ANY LONGER AND IT CAUSES MASSIVE HEADACHES, NOSE BLEEDS AND IN SOME CASES SHE WILL PASS OUT BUT THAT DOESN'T HAPPEN TILL THE TWO HOUR MARK. THE SIMPLER THE COMMAND THE EASIER IT IS TO CONTROL THE ANIMALS. RAVEN PREFERS TO JUST ASK THE ANIMAL IF THEY ARE WILLING TO DO SOMETHING RATHER THAN CONTROL THEM. IF HER CONCENTRATION IS BROKEN SHE LOOSES CONTROL.

"Thanks" Raven said shyly when he complimented her on her handwriting. She didn't mind him moving closer to her. She leaned more on him when Seth handed her the picture. She looked down at it when he asked her the question about her handwriting. She figured answering wouldn't be too bad. "I was home schooled before coming here and one lesson I had to take was penmanship. Had to do that for a couple years to make sure my handwriting was always elegant. Had a few nonstandard lessons" She explained. She didn't mind having to work on her penmanship or any of the other lessons it was just the feedback she would get was what did the most harm. If anything she was glad she had different lessons than most standard school. It gave her a wide range of things she knew that would come in handy at random times.

Seth has the ability to crawl up walls and other things. He's your regular real life Spiderman. His powers can benefit him in the element of surprise and also aid in avoiding attacks. It allows him to move quickly from building to building as long as the jump isn't too far apart. It's also beneficial in getting those top shelf items. One of the downfalls is that it isn't very helpful when he needs to be on the offense. Also Seth isn't always sure footed and has been known to fall and break a few bones. Luckily there isn't much Seth has to do to keep his power in check

Old School Though Seth had grown up among the wealthy kids of California they hadn't worried about things like penmanship even at his school. As you can see I did not. He said pointing to his chicken scratch signature. He looked up at the stars that were twinkling off the water in awe of how truly beautiful the scene was in front of him.
