Lindsey was currently seated on the floor of the weight room. There were a few things that he had been meaning to test out with his abilities for a while, and found some personal time where he would be able to figure things out on his own. He was dressed in work out clothes but realistically this was just so that it seemed like he was actually here to work out. Not to say that he wasn't, but he was more interested in how much exercise he could avoid doing. So far the progress had been steady and productive. He started with the lighter weights, focused his powers on lessening the force of gravity on them, and found that they become practically as light as paper. After each success he pulled out his journal, and recorded the starting weight of the object and a one to ten scale answer for how easy it was to lift. He would just measure the end weight of each one, but that would be a different chore altogether.
The reason he was now seated was to take a break. Some other people had wandered in and he didn't want them to question why he was just sitting in the corner, randomly lifting dumbells and not doing reps. His legs were spread out in front of him and he stared ahead at himself in the mirror. There would be a lot of different things to consider in the small test if he wound up having to actually start lifting. That was fine, he would just need to actually...Figure out what he would have to be doing in order to make it seem that way.
He was just incredibly self-conscious because he had never actually been taught how to lift weights, or anything of the sort. He had seen it done in films, and it seemed like it should be simple but he didn't want to end up embarrassing himself. A sigh escaped his lips, which was followed by a quick glance around the room through the mirror. They weren't going to leave any time soon, and he was going to have to stand up at some point.
