Music class was her last one of the day and she had been trying to figure out the best way to help out Dani and Ralph. She knew Dani was in a relationship thing with Gem but she didn't think it was going to last. She knew Dani still had feelings for Ralph but she was angry and most of that was because of how Ralph acted. She couldn't change that she didn't know how. She needed someone or some people to help her with Ralph and his relationship manors. Granted she didn't think that the wolf would be to keen on it but if it was for Dani she knew the wolf would agree. She had yet to tell anyone about the conversation she and the wolf had. Lately she had just been working with Ralph on control. That wasn't the main issue. She would have contacted Gem but that wouldn't work, not now. So she decided to contact the only other person she thought could maybe help out. Fin.
She had sent him an IM earlier that day asking to meet her after school by the music room. Raven didn't get her hopes up for Fin helping her get his sister back with her ex after everything that had happened. If it was any other person she would never be doing it but wolves mated for life and she couldn't believe that their relationship was really over. It ended badly sure but there was always room to heal. Everyone at the school was an example of that. Going through a rough situation and making the most of it. It was just a job that she couldn't do alone and was holding in her pride for her friend. She waited just outside the door hoping someone would show.

Fin's powers are earth manipulation, meaning he can control earth and its elements. He can also tell you where to find different preacious metals. He can generate earthquakes, landslides and sinkholes, which he did when his power first manifested. He doesn't know how to control it yet, his emotions do that for him, the earthquaked are triggered by his anger. Currently he is supressing it and it then quakes inside him breaking his bones. If he's not internalising it, he goes huge and brings down buildings, or simks them.The problem with Fin's power is that he is limited to how long he can use it, it varies depending on what he's doing with it but usually about five minutes is his limit, sometimes it's as little as thirty seconds before he passes out, he is the weak for the next hour and it takes five to be able to use his power again. With enough control he could isolate the tremors to a much smaller area and even stop major quakes but he's miles off that yet.

Fin had skipped most of his classes that day, he was too hungover to bother and he was happier just to hang out around the lake trying to fight of his hangover and skip stones. He even skipped his last lesson which also happened to be his favourite which was music but he seriously wasn't in the mood today. He did however agree to meet with Raven and so he made his way to the music room at the time classes would have finished. Raven hadn't been specific about why she needed him just that it was Dani related.
He walked into the music room with earphones in his ears. He gave Raven a smile taking one of the earphones out. "Hey! Im here." he stated even if it was obvious. "So what's up?" Fin asked not in the mood for beating around the bush.

She was really happy to see that Fin showed up. She hadn't seen him in class and figured he skipped like most of her friends, oddly enough. He was right to the point and she couldn't blame him for it. The strait to the point answer was going to be shot down, she knew that but it needed to be said. "I need help getting Dani and Ralph back together and I couldn't think of anyone else to help with it" She admitted. Sure having Dani's twin brother help get his sister back with her ex when they seemed to hate each other was insane. But Raven wasn't going to back down.
"The reasoning is simple and complicated at the same time. Just please hear me out before you completely reject the idea" She didn't beg but she was getting desperate. She would do this herself if need be but she didn't think that she would be successful if she was alone. She wondered if she was desperate enough to call up her older brother to help with her pseudo older brother. That was a notion she was not going to entertain. She realized that she had been thinking about her older brother more often since all the drama started. Maybe she should call him. She shook the idea from her mind. They weren't family and right now she needed to fix her real family.

What are my strengths regarding my powers? I'm ninety five with the body of a man in my 20's, What do you think it is? I guess I've been able to gain a lot of knowledge about the world. Travel from place to place, meet a lot of pretty dames. Other than that's its pretty worthless, I can still get cancer, I can still get the flu, if someone wants to cement my feet and toss me into the bay, well I guess I'd be swimmin' with the fishes. You know what the real downer is? If I manage to avoid all those things, I'll probably end up having to bury my wife and son. Everyone I know dies before I do.

Jasper was probably as relieved that the school day had ended as much as his students, it had been a long one and he looked forward to going home making himself a drink and relaxing the rest of the night he just needed to finish grading these papers first. He was seated at his desk flipping through the stacks pen in hand when he noticed a girl from his final period lingering, Oh what was her name. Raven. That's right. He ignored it maybe she was gathering up notes for next weeks test. Moving to his laptop he accessed his itunes playlist putting on some classic jazz music, hopefully that would relax him while he finished grading.
He heard the door open and the voice of a boy. They seemed to be discussing some high school drama that he was less than interested in. Oh What the hell. He looked up taking notice of Finley, who if he wasn't mistaken had skipped class today. Nice of you to finally grace us with your presence Mr. Rockefellar. He said dryly. Don't you kids have somewhere better to be?

Fin was known for not turning up to class, he was still getting used to the whole school thing since he'd been on the road and traveling before Ashford picked up on his powers and brought him here. Fin wasn't sure he liked what Raven was saying, his sister with her asshole ex-whatever they were. "So let me get this right, you want me to help my twin sister get back with her ex." Fin said. Fin nodded as she asked him to hear her out, "Sure thing go on." He said leaning against the door frame. He didn't even notice Jasper was in the room till he spoke. Fin waved him off, teachers always got on his nerves "Yeah whatever.". He looked at Raven waiting for her to continue. Hearing the notion out loud really did make it sound even crazier than it did in her head. She nodded with a half smile. "In a nutshell" She stated. The whole thing was insane but she wouldn't give up no mater how it looked. At least Fin was willing to listen to her reasoning. Raven gathered her thoughts to make sure she mentioned everything that was needed in a clear way. Raven never spoke without thinking before hand.
She was about to explain when she realized the teacher was still in the room. She didn't get the chance to say anything before Fin chimed in. Raven rolled her eyes slightly and decided to try and end the situation before it became worse. "Very sorry Mr. Cooper. We will take this conversation elsewhere" She smiled warmly to the professor and started to head to the door. The last thing she needed right now was to cause some issue was one of the teachers. She had an excellent record and didn't want to tarnish that. She just hoped that Fin would be willing to drop it so they could talk.

Jasper rolled his eyes at Finley's comment, his mouth forming a hard line. All he could think is Finley was lucky he wasn't his kid or he would have smacked him by now. If he ever found out Gemini had mouthed off to another adult, especially a teacher he'd be in some serious trouble. Actually, I do. but there's two students mingling in my class room.
When Raven apologized he felt a pang of guilt, he was cranky from a long day of classes and dealing with little snots like Finley. I'm a land mine." Finley didn't want to shoot down Raven straight away, he was pain in the backside but not to the detriment of his friends. He figured she was gathering her thoughts and he let her. He was happy to stay quiet as long as it didn't involve teachers then his mouth would run off. Finley simply rolled his eyes as Raven headed towards the door, although getting away from Jasper seemed like a good plan for the moment. "You were saying?" he said to Raven hoping for her to continue. He was pretty sure he would still not agree to this idea of hers. Finley was tempted to make a snarky comment in return to Jasper but Raven was there and he knew what a good standing she had with the staff, he wasn't about to wreck it. He himself had a bad reputation for someone who'd been at the school for as short a time as he has. "what are you a counselor now too?" Fin said under his breath, his tone both snarky and sarcastic. Raven just needed to say it. She knew the more she waited the more likely Fin wasn't going to agree to help. She didn't mind if the teacher listened in. "Who knows, you might be able to add some insight on this situation" Raven said to Cooper. What was one more ear. He was an adult and maybe could give some better advice. She took a deep breath and and faced Fin. This was what she called him there about and there was no point in delaying anymore.
"So yes they are broken up and right now might hate each other superficially. However they are soul mates. They still love each other. Just both are two stubborn and proud to make the right step. Ralph needs a huge intervention to snap it into his head on how he needs to act. It is just getting out of control. Also they need to be together. You sister deserves to be happy and right now her happiness is only temporary. Ralph is the one who needs the most work and as much as I wish I could handle it alone. I can't. For one it is a guy thing that I really don't quite grasp. Also I know animal relations better than human ones. I agree with the wolf, it is way too complicated" Raven let out a breath realizing how much she had said. She really hoped she wasn't sounding crazy. She really didn't know why humans were so much more complicated. Then again with the family she came from she really wouldn't be the generally happy person she was now. She was done seeing those she cared about being upset and broken down.

Sounds like a typical romance story to me. The two lovers who are destined to be but have to go through a lot of pointless drama until they grow as people and can finally be together. How very cliche. Well if you want my advice.. He held his hand up in Finley's direction And not a word out of you Mr. Rockefellar already knowing the boy would smart off. He continued You will only be able to help your friends so much, if you push too hard you're only going to push them away from you and It seems that would do neither of them any good. If the girl in question is only temporarily happy it will only be a matter of time before she realizes it. You can encourage them to talk to each other if it makes you feel more productive. As far as...Ralph...is it? goes I might be able to help. I don't know much about whatever wolf situation he has going on but, I do however know a thing or two about women.

I'm a land mine." Finley wasn't sure how happy Dani would be about a teacher knowing of the situation. "Why get him involved?" Finley said his tone whiny. He just looked at Jasper for a moment before turning back to Raven it seemed she was about to tell him why she'd called him away from his day of skipping school. Fin wasn't sure how to respond to what Raven said, was Dani capable of hating superficially he didn't think so. He started shaking his head halfway through because he wasn't sure about the whole thing. "No, nadda, nope." Fin said afterwards. "Ralph is an asshole and unless he's had a solid kick up his ass or maybe a brain transplant he's not going to change. I'm not going to willingly set my sister up with someone who could hurt her." Fin explained to Raven, he wasn't concerned about the things that Ralph had said, sticks and stones and whatnot, he was more concerned about the aggression that was apparent in Ralph. He knew he was aggressive himself but he'd never dream of hurting his sister but Ralph he wasn't sure about. "Aw man I was going to say we don't want your advice but never mind." Finley responded to Jasper. He didn't like this at all and although what Jasper was saying made sense there was still this problem of Ralph being six foot plus and aggressive. "Come on!? How he going to help?" Finley said signalling to the only adult in the room.He knew Dani could defend herself but it wasn't like he wanted to help put her in this situation. Finley frowned as he thought for a moment, maybe he was being an overprotective brother because Danielle Rockefellar could definitely handle herself even with guys. CONTROLLING IS A BIT DIFFERENT. IT ISN'T A SPOKEN COMMAND IT IS MORE OF A MENTAL ONE. IT TAKES TOTAL CONCENTRATION AND SHE CAN'T CONTROL AN ANIMAL FOR MORE THAN AN HOUR, NOT THAT SHE WANTS TO. ANY LONGER AND IT CAUSES MASSIVE HEADACHES, NOSE BLEEDS AND IN SOME CASES SHE WILL PASS OUT BUT THAT DOESN'T HAPPEN TILL THE TWO HOUR MARK. THE SIMPLER THE COMMAND THE EASIER IT IS TO CONTROL THE ANIMALS. RAVEN PREFERS TO JUST ASK THE ANIMAL IF THEY ARE WILLING TO DO SOMETHING RATHER THAN CONTROL THEM. IF HER CONCENTRATION IS BROKEN SHE LOOSES CONTROL.

She agreed with Cooper. Just given time and they would come around. Well Dani would. She felt that in her gut that Dani would come around but she wouldn't make the first move. Ralph needed to man up. That was just what was needed for Ralph to get a good kick to the head to understand why Dani was so angry at him but didn't truly hate him. She nodded at what The teacher was saying that if they pushed too hard then it wouldn't work. She understood that but Ralph had plenty of chances to make amends and was still not stepping up, if anything he was causing more problems.
Raven rubbed the back of her head trying to figure out what to say next. "See Ralph won't hurt her the wolf won't allow it. But he needs a serious intervention. He needs to be knocked down a couple of notches and taught how to properly act with a woman. He is co focused on the wolf instincts that he acts before thinking and it is going to ruin it. He needs to step in and make amends but I don't think he knows how. That is what I need help with" She didn't think that Fin would help at this point. But it was still worth a shot. Maybe she could get some help from Cooper on how to teach Ralph. "Otherwise that anger and resentment is going to turn to pure hatred and then neither one of them are going to feel that happiness with anyone else. It's a wolf thing but you are going to have to trust me there" She was very nervous now. How could she explain to humans that a wolf believes Dani to be his mate and that they couldn't be with anyone else. Dani had let Ralph in and now they were just a mess. Raven wanted to fix it or help it to be fixed to they both could be truly happy. "Even just some advice on how to deal with him" She added. Anything would help at this point.

What are my strengths regarding my powers? I'm ninety five with the body of a man in my 20's, What do you think it is? I guess I've been able to gain a lot of knowledge about the world. Travel from place to place, meet a lot of pretty dames. Other than that's its pretty worthless, I can still get cancer, I can still get the flu, if someone wants to cement my feet and toss me into the bay, well I guess I'd be swimmin' with the fishes. You know what the real downer is? If I manage to avoid all those things, I'll probably end up having to bury my wife and son. Everyone I know dies before I do.

Jasper listened quietly at the two exchanged words. It seems that this Ralph isn't the only one who needs to be taken down a notch. You'll mind your tongue in front of the lady, Mr. Rockfellar.His voice and stern and even. Jasper have the mouth of a sailor when he was with Gemini, or the few friends he had accumulated over the years but call him old fashioned, but using foul language in front of a lady just didn't sit right with him. As I stated before if this Ralph needs help then I'll see what I can do. I'm usually here a couple hours after last period every day.I can guarantee when I get done with him he could probably win back this girl, or any other one he fancies.

Fin's powers are earth manipulation, meaning he can control earth and its elements. He can also tell you where to find different preacious metals. He can generate earthquakes, landslides and sinkholes, which he did when his power first manifested. He doesn't know how to control it yet, his emotions do that for him, the earthquaked are triggered by his anger. Currently he is supressing it and it then quakes inside him breaking his bones. If he's not internalising it, he goes huge and brings down buildings, or simks them.The problem with Fin's power is that he is limited to how long he can use it, it varies depending on what he's doing with it but usually about five minutes is his limit, sometimes it's as little as thirty seconds before he passes out, he is the weak for the next hour and it takes five to be able to use his power again. With enough control he could isolate the tremors to a much smaller area and even stop major quakes but he's miles off that yet.

I'm a land mine." Fin nodded at Raven, "I don't understand the whole wolf thing." Finely said scowling at Jasper when he spoke to him. He didn't understand the whole wolf thing but it didn't mean that he wanted to help his sister any less. "But if what you say is the case, I want Dani to be happy so." Fin added shoving his hands in his pockets. He definitely wouldn't be much help with Ralph and his thinking before he acts since he himself was horribly impulsive. "I don't know if can help with Ralph, except maybe kicking his ass to into next week." Fin explained to Raven ignoring Jaspers comments about his language, "But I can try and talk Dani around." Fin turned to Jasper as he spoke, shaking his head at him. "He won't come to you. I know I wouldn't come to you. Unless Raven can convince him too." Fin said. To have both of these people willing to help out was a blessing. She was really gad she was able to have this conversation. Raven knew going about this along wasn't happening. "Thank you Fin. Do your thing and talk to your sister. I'll knock some sense into Ralph and see if I can convince him to seek out some assistance. It might work" Raven smiled at both of them. She didn't know her teacher very well but she had more respect for him now. Also she was slightly jealous Dani had such a caring brother but she was more happy about it.
"Thank you for hearing me out. You didn't have to and it means a great deal. I owe you one" She stated to Fin. She was just hopping that everything would work itself out. She figured that if Ralph could at least swallow his ego and apologize no matter the outcome the drama might subside. "Thank you for your help as well Dr. Cooper" She turned to acknowledge her teacher.
