I'm a land mine." Fin had been at the party for quiet sometime, he'd already seen the Birthday Girl Raven and the he'd found Dani who proceeded to get him started on the hard liquor. Now both had disappeared leaving Finley alone in a room full of people he didn't know. He didn't mind though as he found himself rather content to stand by the liquor table, he was currently drinking Whiskey and he was beginning to feel more comfortable in a situation that was definitely out of his comfort zone. Finley downed the last of his Whiskey before getting hold of something else to drink. He wandered around for a little checking out the costumes and some of the girls. He wasn't a flirt by any means, he didn't have the confidence or the social skills to be a flirt but it didn't mean he wasn't going to admire the ladies. He was only a guy after all. Finley found a chair to sit on and flopped down into it before taking a swig of his drink only to pull a face, it was vodka something he definitely wasn't accustomed to drinking. His agility abilities have saved many plates and other items from falling on the floor and breaking. He can also use it to catch pretty girls from falling which is one of his favorite benefits.
Unfortunately it's more of a defensive power and so it's not as useful if he needs to do an offensive attack. Due to the fast speeds he can move at it can leave him open to making mistakes.

Gemini had been wandering around, glass of fireball in hand. He hadn't decided if he was going to stick around still. His dad had been wanting to have an actual sit down visit and he had been busy, so he could always call him. He'd probably still be awake. He could also call one of his side pieces and go have some adult fun or he could try and find Raelynn if she was still speaking to him.
He noticed a guy sitting in the corner that he didn't recognize, which was weird. Like him hate him, he usually knew most everyone on campus. He was about to say something to the guy when he was ambushed by a past hook up complaining about how he hadn't called her. He explained he had broken his phone and had gotten a new one but didn't have it on him and hadn't learned the number yet. He offered her a pen out of his pocket. He grabbed a napkin telling her to write down her number and he'd text her ASAP. She seemed satisfied and walked away. He crumpled up the napkin and threw it in the nearby trash can. Now what was he doing? oh right. He turned back to Fin just in time to see him scowl at his drink It's Vodka huh? I can't drink the crap either.

Fin looked at the guy that had just spoken, he didn't know him but that wasn't difficult for Fin since he didn't know many people anyway. He was dressed as Starlord from Guardians of the Galaxy, he wasn't a comic fan but knew the characters. "It tastes crap but waste not want not." Fin said downing the rest of the Vodka. He wasn't sure what to make of the guy in front of him, but by the way he'd been cornered by some random girl moments ago gave Fin the impression he was a player and a good one. "Fireball a much better option." Fin said signaling to the drink in the guys hands. Fin pulled his mask up so that it sat at the top his head making the front of his hair stick up a little. He watched as a couple of girls a little distance away, pointed at Gem and then scowled. Yes, clearly a player.

You speak the truth, Masked Avenger. Gem wasn't sure if he was stranded on a desert island if he could bring himself to drink vodka, straight at least even if it meant staying sober. But you are in luck. Gem reached his hand in his pocket pulling out a half full bottle of fireball and handed it to Fin. I like whiskey in general but fireball always seems like a good choice. He dropped down in a chair next to Fin. Names Gemini but everyone calls me Gem. Well, at least mostly everyone. Some how a few other names they like to call me. He said motioning at the girls who were scowling at him, he waved at them. I don't think I've seen you around?

"You are well prepared I see." Fin said pouring just a little of it out into his now empty glass. He wasn't about to drink a strangers alcohol straight out the bottle. He handed the bottle back to Gem. "Whiskey is neat. Although I'm more of Jack Daniels drinker." Fin said taking a drink of the Whiskey it definitely tasted far better than the vodka. Fin laughed, it didn't surprise him that Gem was called by many other names. "Gemini? Interesting name." Finley said. He'd never heard of anyone by that name. "Not many people have. I tend to drink up in trees rather than parties." Fin replied. "I'm Finley by the way, but I go by Fin too."

Yeah it is. was his response to Finley's comment about his name. If he had a dollar for every time someone commented on the uniqueness of his name he might be Raelynn rich. He didn't really mind though sometimes he wished he was named something like Ryan or Adam. When the guy said his name was Finley Gem spun around to full on face him. Oh holy shit. you're Dani's twin. it came out way more excited than he had intended, but it had caught him off guard. Dani had yet to introduce him to Finley which he hadn't figured out was a good thing or a bad thing.

Apart from Dani when they were younger he hadn't met anyone who was that excited or enthusiastic, whatever that was, about him being Dani's twin. He looked Gem or rather Starlord over and he gave him a half smile, which was more of a smirk. That I am. I was out saving the galaxy, Keeping Ronan from destroying Xandar. It took a few days. He took a drink of fireball No but seriously I was stuck in some middle of nowhere town. Gem figured Finley probably didn't care where he had been but it made conversation, right? So. How is it being at Ashford. Gem knew from his brief conversation with Dani when he got home that they weren't on the best of terms and he hadn't heard any different so he didn't know if he should ask questions about her.

Maybe it wasn't all that fun but for someone with a sense of adventure like Finley's it was definitely sounding like fun. "It's lame and boring." Finley said. He'd been getting cold feet for a while now but having Dani on better terms had him a little more settled. Him and Dani were on bad terms a while back but it was much better now and he was definitely glad about it. "I've nearly ditched this place at least three times but Dani keeps me here." That is correct. I would have been fun if it wasn't for the ex-girlfriend and horrible case of memory loss and the car accident The whole thing would have been a lot better had it been under different circumstances. Being there hadn't even been that bad until everything had come back and then Becca and him getting into a fight and the sad realization that they were officially dunzo, unless there was some kind of unearthly miracle. I hear you, I've been here since I was a freshman. It doesn't get any better so be thankful you only have a couple of years. Good news is sometimes our little group takes random trips and it makes being here a little more bearable for awhile.

I'm a land mine." Fin simply shrugged, he supposed that an ex-girlfriend and memory loss could definitely put a damper on what could've been quiet a lot of fun. Fin liked the idea of dropping off grid so to speak for a few days, and as long as the girl wasn't an Ex she'd be a welcome addition. "Yes I'm a late bloomer as they call it." Finley said he hoped he only had a few years left, although his power only manifesting when he was fifteen might make them keep him back plus he hardly ever turned up to class. "Ah yes I've heard about these trips. Dani says Vegas was particularly notable."
