Kaelyn is a kind and caring person who will spend more time thinking and worrying about her friends than she ever would about herself. Of course, despite the fact that she is socially apt, she tends to be closed off and sheltered. She has a relatively small comfort zone and doesn't branch out as much as she wishes she could. Maybe if she had a friend that could show her how to let loose a little? That would be great!

She has never had a boyfriend before. Never Been Kissed is probably her flagship movie. Not that she isn't interested, but her mother always thought that dating was inappropriate before you were looking for a suitable partner. If there was someone who could sweep Kaelyn off her feet so she would fall in love before she even knew what was happening, that would maybe be a relationship worth trying out. Like I said before, she is kind and caring.

Kaelyn is an RA and is super strict in following the rules. This doesn't win her a ton of friends, obviously. If you are a rule breaker, or live too far outside what she deem appropriate, you will probably end up in her negative book. Sorry.

No need to fear, Remy-poo is here! 

Remington will have a good impression of her at first, regardless. At first, he can be overwhelmingly materialistic when getting to know someone, and a fellow upper-class citizen immediately earns his respect and goodwill. Perhaps a friendly relationship can take place? In due time, maybe he ends up seeing Kaelyn in a sisterly light? Being the sweetheart she is, she may not have much affinity with his snobbier side, but hopefully she can see past that and who knows? Maybe she could aid him in his mission to become less of a vain teen who's more concerned with how much money you have than your true character? A social butterfly himself, he'll truly want to get to know her and be one of those people to push her to do more activities that normally she wouldn't partake in due to her tightly knit comfort zone. What do you think? Would Kaelyn be able to sometimes deal with his more hideous side? Or would his conceited ways land him in her negative book?

I'm not really sure what potential past together they could have (if we were to hand them one in the first place.) In his previous year, he only really talked to fellow Freshmen, so I don't think them knowing each other or being too familiar beforehand would fit.

I think we should definitely throw them into a thread together and see where it goes! Kae is not at all judgmentalabout other people and how they feel about money. Especially a situation like Remy, since she comes from good money as well and quite enjoys having it at her disposal. I think they would actually be good friends and she would WANT him to be like a little brother to her at some point!

I'd love to do that, perhaps I could just toss him in the current open thread you have up? That way they can get familiar before school starts and if he happens to come across her in, for example, their hall, it'll make it all the more comfortable for him to waltz up and be like, "Hey! I've met you!" and go from there. Her being okay with how he can talk big at times when it comes to money and not be continuously chastised for it will totally win points for him. He knows it's not the most attractive trait he possesses, but it gets tiring getting rebuked for it. And, even if it isn't mutual, especially at first, I can see him warming up to her QUICKLY.

REBECCA CLAIRE ASHLAND and @kaelyn could probably hang out too. Idk if they would be friends or not, we'll have to see. I'm assuming they could be though!
