PERSONALITY | I'm an alright guy I think. I think honesty is important. I'm loyal to my friends and family. I wouldn't say I'm an overly guarded person, I've had some hard stuff happen in my life but I've had a long time to come to terms with it. Maybe I'm broken I don't know. I think it's important to treat a woman right, be a gentleman y'know? Open the door, pay for her on dates all that jazz. I can be a bit of a flirt and that gets me in trouble, but hey where do you think Gemini gets it from. I've calmed down quite a bit since I met wife though. You don't have to be an angel to be a gentleman. I'd say I have a temper. I've gotten into quite a few fights over my many years. I guess you could say I was a bit of a bad boy back in the day, definitely gotten in some trouble, definitely made some trouble. I can be a bit strict with my son but I just want him to grow up right, y'know? Hm what else? Well I'd say overall I'm a happy person these days, sometimes I get a little down, get a little nostalgic but it happens to the best of us right? I've got a good sense of humor I'd say. I enjoy doing things like staying fit, working on cars or other things, taking a pretty girl dancing, but I also don't mind relaxing with a good book or a glass of whiskey, listen to some music and watch a storm roll through. |

SOMEBODY THAT I USED TO KNOW
HISTORY | Well lets see I was born in New York in the 1920's to a poor couple. My mom was just a simple school teacher and my father was a drunk and a bum. There wasn't too much exciting about my life, my sister Sophie was born about three years after me. We were pretty close. I tried to help my ma as much as possible picked up an odd jobs as a paper boy and the such when I was old enough. My dad wasn't a nice man when he was drunk which was always, I guess the one thing that I can be grateful for was if it wasn't for him I wouldn't have learned to fight. He turned me into a bit of a scrapper that's for sure. 1935 Sophie died of Pneumonia, Y' know before all the fancy antibiotics came out. Her death was really hard on Ma, obviously. It broke her heart I think she might have given up after that. To this day I'm not even sure my father cared, she was one less mouth that he didn't bother feeding. The next few years I got myself into some trouble with some people. I'm not really at liberty to talk about though I'm sure they're all dead now. Did some jail time. In the 1940's I met this pretty dame, a red head. She was great we had a lot of fun together, we were together through the decade, but she had a kid you see, and She didn't age either. She needed to go back home before people started noticing She wasn't aging. I could have went. I should have went. I was head over heels for that girl, but I just didn't do commitment like that. You'd think a ten year relationship would have registered as commitment to me but somehow it didn't. She left New York, and I haven't seen her since. I've thought about contacting her a few times over the years but, it's best I don't. At one point I tried to join the war but between my criminal record and my allergy to wool it was a no go. You'd think I'd have some interesting stories about the next few decades but they were pretty boring. I enjoyed the 50's. 60's had some good music, went to Woodstock. The 70's were alright. I had to move around a lot. At a point eating right and exercising stop being a good excuse for why you don't age. Don't even get me started on how many fake IDs I've had to acquire over the years. Wish I hadn't had to experience the 80's though I did decide to start college then, went ahead and acquired a PhD in Historical Musicology. I ended up in Seattle in the 90's. In 95' I met this pretty cool girl, another redhead. She was one of my students when I was teaching up there. She was a real artsy type. I didn't plan on sticking around with her but after about a month she came to me and told me she was pregnant. Well being the kind of guy I am we were married before our son was born in May of 96'. I've been with her ever since. |
ALL THE SMALL THINGS
POWER | Super Human Longevity |
POWER DESCRIPTION | What are my strengths regarding my powers? I'm ninety five with the body of a man in my 20's, What do you think it is? I guess I've been able to gain a lot of knowledge about the world. Travel from place to place, meet a lot of pretty dames. Other than that's its pretty worthless, I can still get cancer, I can still get the flu, if someone wants to cement my feet and toss me into the bay, well I guess I'd be swimmin' with the fishes. You know what the real downer is? If I manage to avoid all those things, I'll probably end up having to bury my wife and son. Everyone I know dies before I do. ? |
