PERSONALITY	Even though Dani can be rough and tumble on the surface, she has a tendency to be slightly insecure. This isn't something that she discusses often, especially not with her friends. Being weak where she grew up wasn't an option and she's still stuck in that mentality.  Training and using her powers frequently is important to her. They make her feel strong in a way that she can't quite explain, especially when her brother isn't around.  Speaking of her brother, Dani has a weird sense of family with him at the center. They are thick as thieves, but she's also extremely afraid that he's going to leave her and never come back. Just like their parents. When it comes to friends, Dani tends to stick to people like her most of the time. Loud, brash, and reckless. Still she does have a few good influences and her protective streak keeps her from being a bully. Hell, she's been known to step in a time or two when people forget to pick on someone their own size.

HISTORY

What Dani knows: Growing up in a foster home sucks. It’s pretty much a sure fire way to know that your parents hated you so much that they didn’t want you around and that your foster parents didn’t love you enough to keep you either. By the time she was ten, Dani had already been to at least five different homes. At least she had her twin brother, Finley, to keep her grounded. The areas they ended up in were generally rough and the houses weren’t any better. One foster father turned out to be abusive, using his belt frequently whenever Dani and Fin so much as sneezed wrong, but they were together and that was all that matter. Shortly before the twins’ twelfth birthday they were sent to yet another home, one that seemed to be almost permanent. The middle aged couple had no children to speak of and wanted to be parents more than anything. It was the first time in their lives that Dani remembered being truly happy. Two years and an extensive process later, Dani and Finley had almost been adopted. The only thing standing in their way was someone claiming to be their biological grandmother, and the lawyers quickly dealt with that issue. However, it was too late. Dani’s powers manifested a week before her papers went through and the adoption was halted. Dani didn’t understand the implications then, but in retrospect things had to be pretty serious for Principal Ashford to intervene on her behalf. Finley didn’t want her to go and neither did her parents, especially when she hadn’t done anything wrong other than defend herself in a fight. The kid had a knife, she took it away from them…from about five yards off. In the end, Finley and her parents had to have their memories manipulated to believe she had started the fight and almost killed the boy. Her only glimmer of hope was the secret Ashford told her on the way to school for the first time. Finley’s memories were different from her parent’s. He could legitimately believe some day that she didn’t commit her apparent crime because he was left with a seed of doubt. One day her brother might actually know she was still his sister on the inside. Since then, Dani has spent most of her time at Ashford Academy where she tends to be pretty happy. It isn’t home and she misses her brother, but at the end of the day it is for the best. Besides, she does get to visit him for three weeks during the summer and sometimes even over breaks. It isn’t much, but it’s better than what she would have had. What Dani doesn’t know: Her parents had another, older child that was also given up for adoption. That child is also at Ashford, but neither knows they are siblings.

POWER DESCRIPTION	The ability to summon weapons allows Danielle to take any weapon within her line of sight, barring complications such as super strength or another more powerful telumkinetic. She is limited to only two weapons at a time, though she only usually takes one unless she's going for a bow and arrows. They always land safely in her palm with no chances of impalement, even if she turns around or moves her hand. The only way for this to injure another person is if they step in to the path of an incoming weapon before it switches directions. Her definition of the word weapon can be pretty broad, as she can summon anything that she has the intent to use as a weapon or that she has seen used as a weapon before, such as a belt.
SPECIAL ITEMS	Dani really doesn't keep many material possessions other than her cellphone and laptop. These are very precious to her because they keep her in touch with her brother.
