Fin's powers are earth manipulation, meaning he can control earth and its elements. He can also tell you where to find different preacious metals. He can generate earthquakes, landslides and sinkholes, which he did when his power first manifested. He doesn't know how to control it yet, his emotions do that for him, the earthquaked are triggered by his anger. Currently he is supressing it and it then quakes inside him breaking his bones. If he's not internalising it, he goes huge and brings down buildings, or simks them.The problem with Fin's power is that he is limited to how long he can use it, it varies depending on what he's doing with it but usually about five minutes is his limit, sometimes it's as little as thirty seconds before he passes out, he is the weak for the next hour and it takes five to be able to use his power again. With enough control he could isolate the tremors to a much smaller area and even stop major quakes but he's miles off that yet.

I'm a land mine." Fin knew that grin it was the same mischievous grin Dani always used and he could match when they made plans that could end in trouble. It wasn't a bad idea except for the yelling part, but he suppose he deserved it. He deserved everything Dani had to say to him, not only for letting her worry but for his earlier out burst. "I'm all for ditching its he yelling part I'm still not sure about." Fin said but he knew it was coming, maybe he should've let her know where he was going and what he was doing. No he definitely should have but it was too late for that now and he'd just have to make amends instead. The ability to summon weapons allows Danielle to take any weapon within her line of sight, barring complications such as super strength or another more powerful telumkinetic. She is limited to only two weapons at a time, though she only usually takes one unless she's going for a bow and arrows. They always land safely in her palm with no chances of impalement, even if she turns around or moves her hand. The only way for this to injure another person is if they step in to the path of an incoming weapon before it switches directions. Her definition of the word weapon can be pretty broad, as she can summon anything that she has the intent to use as a weapon or that she has seen used as a weapon before, such as a belt.

"That is up to you, baby brother." Dani smiled, taking off towards the dorms as she did. The car she normally borrowed was parked there, so she'd have to grab the keys unless they were going to try and walk to town on their own. It could be interesting and she had done it before, but it would take forever.
How she intended to broach the subject of him running away was a different matter all together. On the one had she understood why. He was confused, there were no answers in sight and she was gone completely. She probably would have done the same things in his shoes. However, she was worried that maybe other things were going on. What if the people she left him with weren't as good as she thought? What if the ridicule and humiliation was even worse than he was making it out to be? She would never be able to forgive herself if he left a good home because of her. That was beyond horrible.
Then again, maybe he was just bored. People here did stuff like that all of the time. Their home life wasn't horrible and they were loved by their parents, they just left and never went back. She still didn't know much about his new powers, so maybe that had a little bit to do with it as well. If he had hurt someone besides himself it could ahve changed him in ways that scared her. He wasn't sweet or innocent, but he was her brother and she loved him.
"Alright, how about instead of yelling I just ask what got in to you? I mean you were fine when I left and you seemed happy enough, right? I just don't get why you would do something like that. Did someone do something? I just...I need to know." The dorms were close by now and hopefully some food would do them some good. No use arguing on an empty stomach. |

I'm a land mine." "Oh come on! I'm like ten minutes younger." Finley remarked about her calling him baby brother. Although if he were minutes older he wouldn't let her live it down. Finley followed his sister as she headed to the dorms. "What's the options?" He asked, he'd never actually been into town so didn't know what it had to offer food wise. Finley knew she'd want to know the reasons he ran away and he could give her a fairly big list if he tried hard enough. He wasn't even sure how good his home was anymore, his foster parents were fine he supposed but without Dani it all just felt wrong. He was happier alone than without her so that's exactly what he did. His foster parents hadn't done anything but they hadn't really made much of an effort to look for him, or maybe they had but he didn't know about it. Finley never looked back after running away especially after his powers manifested, yes he pulled the building down on himself but what if he'd brought a building down on himself and other people, he could never live with that and he could never go back. He knew his foster parents would never be able to deal with the fact that he was an SPB, they barely dealt with the fact that they thought Dani to be a violent criminal. The ridicule and the way people looked down on him after the incident he dealt with in ways that his foster parents didn't agree with, he had caused several nose bleeds and had been suspended from school more times that he could count. Fin shrugged he didn't have a straight answer for Danielle and talking about stuff wasn't something Finley was particularly fond of doing. He saw the dorms come into view as he continued to follow his sister. Clamming up probably wasn't the best way to bridge the gap between him and his twin, but he become so used to simply keeping things to himself that he a couldn't shake it. Dani stopped in her tracks and made sure that her brother did so as well by reaching out to use her power on his belt. "I don't care what you did, Finley Tate, or why, but you will not close yourself off from me. Rest assured that I will kick your ass up one side and down the other if you do. I did not get my twin back for him to turn in to some sort of jerk who can't even talk to me. releasing his belt, Dani walked up to her room without even checking to see if he had followed her. She was that ticked off. An outburst was something she could handle, but not talking at all was ridiculous. Borderline torture.

I'm a land mine." "Woah! What are you doing!" Finley said as Dani reached out and used his own belt to make him stop dead in his tracks. Finley had followed her but at a safe distance, he knew she could and would kick his ass into next week if she really wanted to. He had to tread carefully. "It's not like that Dani!" he tried to explain, he could definitely talk to his twin right? Maybe he couldn't but he hated it when his twin was ticked off especially when it was because of him. "I've never been the talking type and you know that." it was his counter argument, but he knew that before Dani probably would've ended up coaxing everything out of him. Clearly things had changed for both of them over the last two years. Fin had most definitely grown a tougher exterior to avoid getting hurt. "I ran away because that's what I do. Instead of anger, hurt crossed Dani's features as she turned to face her brother. Great, another absentee person in her life. Her friends were flakey at best, even her best friend had left without a word. Maybe that was just how things were supposed to be for her now. The price of being a freak. "I tell you what. When you get ready to stop running, you come and find me. It's pretty obvious you didn't intend to say anything to me anyways even though you knew I was here. Missed you too Finley." Luckily for her they were outside her door now, so all she had to do was walk over to it and slide the key in to the lock. If it wasn't for Raven she wouldn't even bother, but her roommate had nice things that Dani didn't want people to steal. |

Finley saw the hurt in Dani's eyes and he felt bad, he didn't mean to be so snappy but everything that had happened in the last few week were still whizzing around in his head at a mile a minute. "For goodness sake Dani! I didn't know you were here until just then when I saw you!" Finley said running a hand through his hair. "If I knew you were here, if was told you can bet I would've come and found you earlier." Finley explained, he was definitely agitated and he started bouncing on from one foot to the other. He cursed several times and turned to walk away from his twin but he thought better of it and spun on his heel stalking back towards his twin. "Give me a break Dani! I've been here a few weeks after bringing a building down on myself and just in the last ten minutes I've found out both my sisters are here at Ashford not because of some criminal acts but because of these powes and the last memory I had of my twin is some twisted manipulation to cover this fact." Finley said his hands were moving around just like his twins did when she got excited or enthusiastic. "So excuse me for being just a little bit closed off while I figure this damn thing out." Finley knew he was rambling. He scrubbed both hands down his face. He didn't want to argue with his twin and he wasn't helping fix the ridge between them. "I'm just going to go. I've see you, I know your safe and you clearly don't need me." His dorm room was in the same building but he didn't head in the direction of it. "If your still interested, I ran away because the happiness left with you." it wasn't the only reason and it wasn't the best explaination. It just covered all the reasons in one.
