Class Objective : To help students gain a better understanding of their powers and their capabilities.

To Schedule a formal training session with Power Trainer Jones please complete the following assignments. Assignments must be received by Midnight on Friday.

Assignment one: I want a minimum of 400 words about what you know about your power and your views of it? I don't want to hear about the car you burnt up when your Pyrokenisis first manifest, I want to know how you view it now and how much knowledge you've acquired about it. You all know how to spell and most computers have spell checker, if not use a dictionary. Bonus Points available for work that is of an exceptional standard. (Worth 50 points)


Additional training classes are available but won't count towards dorm points. There are three time slots available and must be claimed by Thursday of every week and will end on Sunday unless discussed otherwise. Slots are claimed on a first come first serve basis. Group threads are available but remember that this is power training not argument training.

Clairsentience

    In truth, I know very little about how my Clairsentience works. What I do know is that I have, in the past, been able to seen the history of an object, or a person, after touching that object or person directly. For example, if I were to pick up a pen in my dorm room, I may seen myself writing with it the week before.

    When I do get these visions, they take over my entire line of sight. I have since decided that, although I am seeing the past, or history, of the object or person in question, it is dangerous to not be able to see anything at all for the duration of the vision. When I am inside the visions, it is like I am an onlooker. I do not inhabit the body of whatever, or whoever, I am seeing. Rather, I watch from a distance and I am able to see more of a situation that the actual participant in most cases.    

    There are many aspects of my power I know can exist, given the name of the ability. I have not yet unlock the ability to see the present of the object in my visions, or perhaps I have and I simply have not noticed because the present is happening now and my line of sight is not altered because if it. The name of my power also suggests that I might, at some point, be able to see the future of an object, though I have not quite learned all the specifics about it yet.

    In a perfect world, I would like to be able to induce the visions. I currently do not have control over when the visions come and it can be dangerous and unpredictable. For instance, if one suddenly happens when I am driving, it would not be outside the realm of possibility for me to potentially hurt myself or others. With some training, I would hope that I would, at some point, e able to control the timing of the visions, as well as the nature of the visions. Instead of seeing a seemingly random moment in the past of an item, I would like to be able to see any number of memories or past moments as I choose. That is my goal in taking private training sessions this year.
