Bash's power is that of CRYOKINESIS or the control and manipulation of ice. He can create ice, freeze standing water and other liquids, create snow and create below freezing temperatures. He has to touch the object he's freezing and once frozen he can't thaw it out. Somedays his powers are influenced by his emotions so he might leave a trail of snow when he's feeling particularly down. He can't use his powers unless there's water in the air or nearby,so he couldn't use them if he were in a vacuum. He can also freeze blood if he wants to but he has to touch the person. Using his powers very often leaves him Dehydrated so he drinks a lot more water than most.

'Cause the kids are alright Running after two six year olds might not have been anyone's idea of a good evening, but when you're spending your working week running after teenagers with a varying array of superhuman abilities, it becomes a very welcome idea. Bash always loved spending time with his kids and while he was dedicated to his job at the Academy, he sometimes questioned why he giving his time to other people kids rather than his own. He knew of course that without adults, like himself, giving of their own time to help these students adjust to their unique biology the world would turn on them. This and the fact that these kids had the chance to make this world a different, better place is what kept Bash turning up for work.
However he made sure that on those days he wasn't working, he spent as much time with his children as possible. Like he was at that moment, with classes starting up again in two days Bash chose to make sure he spent them bonding with the two little people in life. They'd had quiet an action packed summer, from visiting their Mum in Vegas to the short beach holiday Bash had taken them on. His daughter had tanned and was now two shades darker than when she left the previous week. He was ready for a chilled day with his kids and so that morning they got up late and watched cartoons until they felt the need for food, to which Bash responded by taking the twins out for pancakes and ice-cream. Then the twins napped while he took care of those pesky D.I.Y tasks that always get left. Apon waking his daughter decided that she wanted to go for a walk around the lake, to which Bash obliged. Well a walk had turned into a run for his energetic six year old daughter, she loved being outside and was chasing any insect that flew past while Bash followed closely behind with his son riding piggy back having lost interest in walking rather quickly. Sebastian kept a close eye on his daughter so that she didn't stray to far one way or the other, he didn't want her to end up going for a swim. At the moment she was a little ahead and while he could see her at the moment there were a cluster of trees nearby, which he knew his daughter would want to explore."Amelia! Stay where I can see you!" Bash called to his young daughter. Who promptly stopped to wait for him to catch up, he readjusted Riley on his back as he made his way towards his daughter.

now we're standing alone in a crowded room and we're not speaking and i'm dying to know is it killing you like it's killing me yeah
It had been a long day already. and Claire was hurting for her Floridian beaches just about now. She spent a good portion on her day sitting in her suite, staring at a blank sheet of college ruled notebook paper, willing the syllabus to just spill out of her like water or something. It didn't. And she knew the only way she would think of assignments for the coming year was if she simply got away from herself a little bit and smelled the salty ocean. Unfortunately, there was a serious shortage of white sand beaches in Calloway, Wyoming. So she left her suite and ventured down the hill to the next best thing.
On the banks of the Yellowstone Lake, further from town then most people were willing to travel, Claire had created a little spot. She was sitting in the grass hugging her knees to her chest as she shivered slightly. A cool summer breeze floated around her, making her wish that she had thought to bring along a sweater or something to cover up her exposed shoulders. Her blonde hair was pulled into an unruly bun on top of her head and she was wearing her signature black skinny jeans tucked into black leather boots. It wasn't a fancy or sophisticated style, but it was her own and she loved it.
Claire was deep in thought, mostly about the correlation between the Battle of Helm's Deep and siege weaponry, when she was jerked from her thoughts by some creature running at full force into her, "OOMPH!" She coughed, as she reacted to a child, a little girl to be more exact, landed squarely in her lap wit a had reaching for a ladybug that seemed to know it was flying for it's life, "Oh no! It's got away! I'm sorry!" Claire tilted her head to the side, giving the little girl a sympathetic look. She then turned her eyes in the direction the girl had come from, hoping that toddler wasn't running around by herself this close to the water. i don't know what to say since the twist of fate when it all broke down
aren't i amazing? i wrote 341 words for you! i'm also smokin' hot wearing this stellar get-up. i hang out with only the coolest and most amazing people ever. those awesome people include SEBASTIAN EZEKIEL JONES! i frikkin' love music. right now, i am listening to summer breeze as sung by sawyer fredericks and pharrell williams. isn't that just the best? if i had anything relevant or catchy to say, it would be "i typed this up days ago and lost it. so here i am again! sorry for the wait, doll!"

'Cause the kids are alright Of course Bash's curious little daughter didn't stay rooted to the spot for long, as soon as the piggy-tailed girl saw her Dad was close enough for her liking she took off again. Bash sighed but didn't reprimand her, she was simply curious and that was a good quality for any child to have and she needed to learn about her world and the things around her. There were however still unknown dangers as well as the known ones like the Lake and Bash really couldn't trust his daughter not to go to close. His son would've been fine, he was timid and often stayed close to Bash anyway but Amelia was a bundle of energy with no real sense of danger.
Bash moved his son from his back onto his hip, "What do you say we go catch that sister of yours?" of course Riley readily agreed and so Bash lifted him up again so he was on his shoulders this time. He saw the top of his daughters head just in time to see in which general direction she was headed. He started to do a slow run towards her, he didn't have to run fast to get to his daughter who had way shorter legs than her six foot plus father. The fairly slow pace also meant that the child on his shoulders who currently had their small hands covering his eyes wasn't going to bounce around to much.
Thankfully Riley's hands were fairly small and Sebastian could see through the spaces between his fingers. He spotted his daughter tripping over somebody, oblivious to her surroundings since the start of her insect chase. It didn't take long before Bash reached both his daughter and the woman she'd landed on. "Hey Buddy you think I can get my eyesight back?" Sebastian asked his son. Who moved his hands to his Dad's forehead. Sebastian could see the woman more clearly now, she look familiar but he couldn't place her. "I'm sorry about that." Bash said. He placed Riley on the floor before lifting Amelia to her feet. "I told you to stay where I could see you. Now you need to say sorry to the poor woman you fell on, you might've hurt her." Sebastian had by now squatted to his young daughters level and when he mentioned apologizing he'd spun her around to face the woman she used as a landing pad. His daughter looked at the woman for a moment before turning to face him again "What if I'm not sorry? She let the ladybird get away." Bash had to resist rolling his eyes at the slightly cheeky tone his daughter had taken on. One stern look from his and his daughter turned back to the woman, "I'm sorry for falling on you." He could feel that his other child had promptly hidden him at the sight of a new person.
