Dani sighed, adjusting herself around him so that they were both comfortable. I know...but maybe he'll think that I'm not here? I'm grasping at straws... He was right, there was no way that Joe was going to fade back in to the background if he actually made it as far as Calloway. They'd never hear the end of it then. I don't mind conflict some times, or really any time, I just...he bothers me more than most people and I don't know why. He doesn't need to be here, ever. Admitting that she was worried about possibly having to defend herself was hard for Dani in more ways than one. She was too independent to admit that she might want her boyfriend's help, but at the same time...if it wasn't for Taze she'd probably just move in to his bedroom forever so that they could stay like this.

It didn't take her more than a few seconds worth of looking before she had found his deadpool backpack and started throwing things in to it. If your dad asks, I legit kidnapped you and he can't even be mad. Okay? Maybe she should just calm down and let Gem pack his own stuff, but she wanted to be doing something with her hands. Her own stuff wouldn't be hard to pack if she would just leave the room and go do it. Maybe she was going crazy or something.

Gem sat up giving Dani a questioning look when she scooted off the bed and seemed to be looking for something. You're legit being serious...He said when she started shoving things into his backpack. He threw his legs over the side of the bed and stood up making his way over to her. He took the backpack out of her hands and laid it on his bed before placing his hands on her shoulders. You need to calm down girl, you're like on this level... He said moving his hand so it was level with her head and I need you like down here. he said dropping his hand down by her hips.

She reasoned, looking around for his phone charger. Stupid room changes. Now she was going to have to figure out where he hid all his stuff again. So maybe not seattle. LA sounds a little...I don't know, not calming? Beach? Florida? Oh, Melanie gave me one of those stupid cards again in an act of 'defiance against the family'. Plane. We could get on an airplane and go to....hawaii? Now she was grasping at straws. Other places like Mexico crossed her mind, but that was too far off. He reached for a pair of jeans, rolling them up and shoving them in backpack. He scowled down at the backpack, just shoving his clothes in something wasn't the usual way he liked to pack. She teased, grabbing something else off his desk and throwing it in another bag she'd found before handing it over. You know what...I have an idea. I'm gonna go grab my bags and I'll meet you at the car, okay? She stated, a sudden realization hitting her. Dani leaned up to kiss him on the cheek and walked to the door, not really waiting on an answer.
